I bought the ZTE Avid 579, had nothing but trouble with it. I had it 4 weeks and got rid of it and bought a different phone. My advice ? Don't BUY this phone !!!!! Junk !!!!!

Customer services is basically non existent. They make it very difficult for you to return your items and also they sent me a 2 pin plug and an extra charger that doesn't fit the plug!.

AVOID!!

This phone is a total piece of junk. Can not make calls because the screen opens and closes and modifies apps, settings, whatever it feels like during calls. the screen will not stay off during a call. screen sensitivity is all over the place. this thing is just junk.

I've had a terrible experience with the phone twice I actually tried two of these phones when the first one went out. Battery problems and complaints of not being able to hear me while in a conversation.

I wanted to return the phone within 2 weeks, but they asked me to pay the shipping costs myself

After a short discussion, the support did not write back even after several requests and I was ignored.

Never again ZTE!

I have a ZTE flip phone and I am having problems with it. When I tried to contact customer service, they didn't help me at all. They kept asking the same question and not helping me find the answer. Finally, they just hung up on me. Horrible phone and horrible service.

The microphone quit working after 10 months.

I bought a new ZTE Avid 579 from Consumer Cellular for $60 and so far it has been exceptional for the price. The last Android phone I had was a Motorola G for $180 and I had to replace it once and trash it the second time. I also have an iPhone 6 and an iPhone 6S, and both of them have battery issues. This ZTE phone is for my third cell number.

Just a piece of junk! Can't download apps. can't access home screen. Can't access photos. Most frustrating phone ever!

I can't get messenger to work on my t86 phone it was working till the phone had an upgrade now won't work uninstall app reloaded it but still not working

Garbage company and even worse phones. Avoid at all costs. Gave up on my fourth warranty repair in 2 months. The processor in their phones is horrible, slow and cheap. Sent my phone in for repair and got it back in the same condition. Second repair, the phone stopped charging and the phone burnt out inside. Got that back and the phone continued to freeze constantly. Dropped my phone and it had a small crack. They refused to repair my phone because of that and wants me to pay them to send it back. Ya FN right! I ended up buying another of the same phone because I couldn't have a lapse in my service. Two days after I sent the first phone in, the new one stopped charging. Second time with the same issue. After countless hours on the phone with ZTE and them refusing to resolve my issue I asked for a supervisor multiple times throughout many different conversations and was never contacted by one. STEER CLEAR OF THIS GARBAGE COMPANY AND THEIR TRASH PHONES!!!! Honestly the worst experience I've ever had with a phone and a company period

I only use a smart phone as a PDA of sorts... A calendar, media device, and games to play while I'm bored. No network, just use WiFi so brand doesn't matter to me. The ZTE Avid 579 was the cheapest that was a hardware upgrade from my last one that was crapping out, but I'm regretting not paying the extra $20-30 for the next price point up.
It shuts down programs no matter what settings I adjust, turning off battery saver, and say to never shut down, but it still does. Messenger won't notify me of messages or calls, system timer will stop counting down after a while, and every program restarts if I jump to another program (eg. Look at my calendar while writing an email).
Between this and my wife's old ZTE phone they had a battery go to pot within a little over a year, I'll never buy another ZTE.

A ZTE tablet didn't work after 2 months. I've been trying to return it for the last two months. They are impossible to deal with. Don't buy any ZTE products. I still have the tablet after 5 calls and multiple emails to ZTE. Returning it is almost impossible

Worst phone ever! Don't buy it 8 mg storage total and phone uses all but .3 mg. You cannot delete apps and no storage to add apps you want.

I initially gave a 5 star rating I should have waited a while. About a month after I started using the phone, I started experiencing problems.
The phone would make calls on its own randomly picking a contact. Calls started being disconnected during the call.

This phone is rubbish. I've been using it for about 5 days and its stupid. First thing, i can't install apps you can install on most phones and these games cost money aswell which bugged me. Next barely any apps work. I only have 2-4 apps that work on this phone which sounds rubbish. And sometimes an app will open glitch or just shut down. Third, the phone will randomly just shut down when i open an app that lags. I've had to re start this phone about 4 times in 1 day for it to still glitch out. I don't think it has the quality to even be called a new phone.Personally its not worth the money and I can see why the phones are so cheap now. It's better to just save up money for a propper android or Iphone.

EXTREME WARNING: DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!
here's why:
1) bought ZTE AXON 20 5G on UK company official website (uk.ztedevices.com)
2) phone wasn't suitable for me so decided to return it within their 15 day return period
3) looked at RETURNS section of website, NO RETURN ADDRESS INSTRUCTIONS!!
4) emailed support (support at global.ztedevices.com), asked them return address, instead of being given instructions was asked "Before we proceed, is it convenient for you to let us know the reason of the return?"(!!!), eventually after a few days of email exchanges an address in HONGKONG was given!!
5) because it is specified to pay for own return, after a full day trying to find a carrier (some wont take phone with battery, e.g. royal mail, DHL won't but DHL express will), was given quotes starting off at £60-80!!!! this is approximately a quarter of the value of the phone!!!!
6) phone ZTE helpline (who are in India) who offered no help whatsoever to find an alternative!!!!
7) ended up after much searching finding a carrier who would did it for £44!!!!! 10% of the value of the phone!!!

...this has been a horrendous buying and customer care experience - never experienced anywhere on the internet before. This is the first time i have ever complained on the internet, i feel compelled to complain to warn other consumers!!!! i will complain to ZTE and search UK consumer rights helpline...DO NOT BUY FROM ZTE!!!!

My zte blade a3 is absolutely the worst phone I've ever had. Screen burns my eyes, nothing works on it, everything force closes. Company doesn't care at all. Worst warranty. They want me to send in the phone and go without for 14 days lol. Buy any other brand but zte

They never give direct answer to questions. I had a connection issue with bluetooth and their idea was to delete all my data off my phone. I told them a software patch is needed and they said it's not important.

If you truly want a Crappy phone that gives you nothing but Problems then a ZTE phone is for you!
