The ZTE phone is virtually useless. DO NOT BUY! The screen freezes up repeatedly. You cannot open up you messages. It is super slow to respond.

I have bought the ZTE Blade Z7 via 3. It's been having problems with the Bluetooth dropping out randomly when in the car, so you lose the call or the music streaming. I know the car is not the culprit... See more
ZTE blade 2020 is the worst phone I've ever got, bad touchscreen calibration, very slow, full of ads, lots of system bugs, also it's very frustrating when photos get randomly deleted... Terrible.

I absolutely hate my ZTE/Android phone
I absolutely hate my ZTE/Android phone. It has a mind of its own and I am constantly having to reconfigure. Right now it's telling me I have messages to read but, of course, there aren't any. Yesterday it put itself into airplane mode with no warning or action by myself. The usability testing of this product had to be 0. Avoid is my advice.
Phones and C.S. are both Crap
If you have to choose between a zte product and a brick phone.... Go with a brick phone. 3 week old zte blade 10 prime is complete junk and so is their customer service.
Axon 10 pro, DO NOT BUY ZTE PRODUCTS!!!
DO NOT BUY ZTE PRODUCTS!!!
I bought my Axon pro about 8 months ago. The main reason I got it was it is a dual SIM. I always hated carrying 2 phones. Within the past 2 months I started having problems with people not being able to hear my voice when I speak. Since it's a PHONE first and foremost, you would think I should be able to AT LEAST hear AND speak, right? The problem didn't happen all the time but it was enough to make my life a nightmare.
I called their CS and they said I would have to send it to Texas and it would take 7-10 working days (you've heard that before, I'm sure) before I got it back. So now I was without a phone for 2 weeks. I only had 1 OLD Samsung 3 I could use, so I had to find a workaround. Personal SIM to the old Samsung and business forwarded to my wife's phone.
When I got the ZTE back it still had the same problem even though they said they replaced the mic.
Another call to CS, another shipment back, supposedly for a replacement phone. waited the 7-10 working days, and I received A phone; it was by no means a new phone and guess what, same problem only worse. Now most calls have the problem instead of it being just a few times a day.
Another call. They told me that, since it was a "replacement" I would have to send it back for repair (not replacement because this was supposedly another phone and would have to be evaluated, fixed, but not replaced. Since I had no joy from the time I spent without a phone I told them they needed to send me a replacement and I would return the old phone once I received it. The rep said he would have to talk to his boss to see what they could do. That was last week and I have heard nothing since. They have either a build or software problem and they seem reluctant to address it, or to help me further.
i guess I will have to bite the bullet and start looking for another dual SIM phone
Although they only have a small presence in the U.S., my mission is to see ZTE is eliminated completely here. I will attempt to post this review in as many places as I can find.
Did I mention, DO NOT BUY ZTE products?
Revision...
I got a phone back yesterday. The first call I made, the receiving party couldn't hear me until I pressed the speaker button. then I turned off speaker and they could hear me. But that's not all; it has turned itself off 2 times today, the firs day!!!
Did I mention, DO NOT BUY ZTE products?
So today I have replaced my ZTE (not…
So today I have replaced my ZTE (not blade) with a Samsung A20. I replaced it because after several years of use and accidentally dropping the thing (several times) it started doing weird things. It was truly the best phone I have ever owned. I'm going to actually miss my phone, never thought I'd say that. The Samsung A20, has some big shoes to fill. Sorry to all that are having bad experiences with the ZTE Blade, but mine was before the Blade. What can I say, sequels always suck. -Miami, Florida
Customer support from ZTE was quick, friendly and technically detailed.
I am writing to give a commendation for ZTE support in Australia.
I had a problem the batteries in old ZTE phone model (the low end Blade A112) and wanted to know whether it had been fixed in current productions of the same phone.
I had little expectation that I would be able to get a clear answer from the company, but the contrary happened. With one phone call the consultant understood the problem, and was able to direct me to a specialist who could answer my question. I sent an email to the specialist and **within hours** had a reply which was sufficiently detailed I could act on. He even offered me replacement batteries, at no charge.
This is as good as any support I can expect from a foreign based company (the support was local in my country - Australia), and I am impressed enough to commend it with a review.
NEVER buy a ZTE PHONE !I I have had…

I wish someone had told me not to buy a ZTE PHONE!
I was just coming here to say that this…
I was just coming here to say that this is the most useless phone I have ever bought. I regret buying this phone and I am not surprised by the reviews I have just read.
It can't open the pages, sometimes the alarm doesn't ring, the volume is gone I can't hear the person on the other end. I basically can't do 90% of the stuff I did on my Samsung S6 even after two years of owning, yet this phone is barely 7months old. I regret my penny pinching on this purchase, next time I will splurge on something of quality.
The worst phone in existence I despise it
To be honest this is not what I expected for begginers luck what my actual rating is's...
- - -⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ please fire the dumby who came up with the idea for this phone it's like when you hold it you think taking a crap taking that crap out of the toilet and calling it a phone it's I already have enough depression as it is hell my I paid was better than this
Sincerely Caleb Smith p.s please please stop making crappy phones and start learning from your mistakes
I had cellphone of ZTE for 3 months…
I had cellphone of ZTE for 3 months then start acting up one day i had cellphone in my pocket next it calls one friends someone saying hello loud in pocket by time take out they hang up.after a few hours try to make a phone call then just ends my call so reboot it so make a phone call never again i buy a ZTE Verizon cellphone.
Worse phone I've ever used the first…
Worse phone I've ever used the first generation phones are 100 times better than the zte. It has a mind if its own. Touch screen is almost impossible have to close and reopen pages several time before it's touch actually responds to touch. Closes apps at will, calls just end, button will read numerous buttons beside the one you actually push. Adds words that doesn't even makes sense. For instance, I type hello how are you, that automatically say hello which option do you want when all I actually typed is hello, it's closed this since I've been trying to write this review 3 times and countless words """"I've had to eat as discussed.""" See the previous words o never typed. All I stared to type was I've, and it added """had to eat as discussed""" after this review I'm using a 12gquge shotgun and making really tiny pieces of this phone. I recommend you do not buy this pos and move on to another. Ie tried calling Verizon and all I get from them is I'm sorry your having trouble goodbye!!!!!!! Swear to God
Worst phone I've ever had
Worst phone I've ever had. I did so much research, I read all these reviews saying 'flagship phone at a bargain price' - NO! No it is not! It is dreadful, it is incredibly horribly slow, it freezes up completely at times, the camera is rubbish. I hate this phone so, so much. I have a ZTE Axon 7 by the way, please avoid at all costs!
Correct me if I'm wrong.
Correct me if I'm wrong but when you purchase a brand new item isn't the seller supposed to sell that item in working condition? Aren't you supposed to enjoy that item for at least ONE DAY??? Not the case with my brand new ZTE Z298. Has not worked even one day and cannot get a response from customer service. They literally stole my money. If you have read the reviews and still buy a ZTE phone you're asking for what you'll get..... nothing.
I have a ZTE z3001s
I have a ZTE z3001s. It worked for only four months. It had error messages saying it was out of storage space even though I deleted all my messages, contacts, photos, etc and put in a SAN Disk card. It also said "SIM missing - no service" when I did not remove the SIM. Because of this second message, I couldn't place calls. To try to restore the phone's functionality, I did two factory resets. Both times I signed back into the phone using the gmail account I used to set the phone up. I also have photos from the phone on my google drive. I feel this is evidence that my phone was correctly synched to my gmail account. These resets did not restore the phone to a functional state. At the advice of a ZTE tech, I did a third reset from the reboot screen, something I had not done before. After this I could not sign into the phone. ZTE customer support staff would not take responsibility for the phone's dysfunction. I am a Lifeline customer, and feel ZTE dumped these old phones on a captive market of low income people. Shame on them.
They are THE WORST EXCUSE 4
They are THE WORST EXCUSE 4
a smart phone on planet Earth.. Slower than snails walking backwards blindfolded..any ad video that plays totally screws up the music your listening to..the piece of duece posts daily there's software needing updated..covers entire screen & locks
it up..it never gets installed..
ZTE Blade A0605 DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT
Thought I would try the Optus ZTE BladeA0605 not even 2 months old and Android apps fail on a regular basis particularly the camera. It's that old saying you get would you pay for and these people should be incarcerated for peddling such Chinese garbage. What a mistake it would have to be the most useless piece of shiny glass ever promoted by OPTUS, and forget about the customer service from ZTE it is non existent. Only capable of running Android 7.1.2. When asked about other Android releases was totally ignored. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IT IS NOT worth $119 more like $20 and they should pay you to buy it. Sledgehammering this piece of crap today just bought a Samsung, should have done it months ago.
ZTE WTH happened? You used to be great! This model is pure garbage!
Okay, so this phone fkn sucks. Constant beeps interrupt calls, the screen won't stop softly flashing, and I can't close tabs by touching X - I have to close ALL the tabs and then reopen the one I actually wanted. Also autocorrect won't friggen autocorrect. Did I buy a refurbished Z557? I think I bloody well did and I think it was a recent refurb because there were fingerprints all over the damn screen 😠
And lastly, who's the moron who put the speaker by the friggen mouthpiece? I have to hold the phone upside to hear the person I'm speaking to and what's worse is that even at full volume I can't even hear them that well!
Horrible experience with ZTE
After I cannot find the "ZTE axon 7 earbuds" I went to their site asking where to buy them and how much they were. First they asked 3 questions,
1. "Where did you purchase the device?"
2. "What is your location?"
3. "What is your nationality?"
After I answered their questions they responded with this message, "We kindly request you to visit the place of purchase or you can visit online website like ebay to purchase the Earbuds." They were of absolutely no help to me at all, didn't answer any of my questions. So If someone ever came up to me requesting a good electronics co. ZTE would be the last thing I would say, do not trust them, they don't care about their customers.
Get some qualified technical people who can answer your questions accurately.
I called customer service because I was a new cell phone user and I was looking for work and items for purchase on Craigslist and couldn't figure out why it wasn't going through the email I wanted to use. I was new to Android phones having traded up from my flip/track phone. The problem turned out that I wasn't clicking on the correct line(figured it out on my own). I was told that the problem was with my Yahoo email account and not my phone and would have to contact Yahoo. They told me to email Yahoo customer service for email problem (which it was not) I wanted to use my phone to do it because I like to have someone on the line for tech support while I'm solving problem. I asked for a phone number and they told me Yahoo does not have phone support....I said hey could you double check because I like to have a tech person to go through it with me while I'm on the line with them so she tells me to hold on. She gets me a number of a scammer who tells me that. Like a fool I let them have access to PC ( If customer service would have told me the only phone tech support is a scam, I would have understood). The asked if they could look in my account to see what's wrong and said ok because it was the NUMBER customer service gave me. They told me Russians have taken over my hard drive and it would take 250 bucks to have it removed. Lol...I am glad I didn't fall for that crap but I should have never given them access to my drive and even after running Mal ware detectors still running slower than before.
I USED to be a die-hard ZTE fan..
I USED to be a die-hard ZTE fan... not anymore. I had a ZTE phone several years ago that was an AWESOME phone... I absolutely loved it. After going through several other phones that I hated, I went OUT OF MY WAY to buy another ZTE.... I bought a Blade Max 2s really hoping that going back to ZTE would have the same wonderful experience as before... but this phone is TERRIBLE... one of the worst phones I ever had. ZTE HAD a lifetime buyer, but NOT ANYMORE... I'll NEVER buy another one, EVER. Truly disappointed... I used to tell everyone how great their phones were, now I tell EVERYONE to NEVER buy one of their phones. They lost a lifelong committed buyer.
