Nice cost effective worktops . However, aftercare is truly terrible. Everything was meant to be complete after the 1st visit, however we were missing drainage grooves for some odd reason, the final polish of the worktop was never carried out meaning it easily stains, and they have lost our sink plug. They have subsequently promised us on two occasions they would come back to fix the above, on both times they have failed to show up without even calling us.We had to call them and find out where their engineers are and were greeted with an excuse. They have now given us a new date, but i am doubtful they will attend and it's over a month since we had this installed. I would recommend paying a bit extra and going with someone local. Stay away if you can!

A bit odd: Arlington Worksurfaces Direct have a website at arltops.com, but also seem to allow an offshoot - one that they say 'runs independently' - trading at ukworktopsdirect.co.uk, with a separate phone number.

I dealt with this 'independent' offshoot. I had a couple of problems with them, and they did not publish my review on this second website. All the self-posted 'customer testimonials' there are 5 out of 5 stars, which looks misleading in the circumstances. Arlington Worksurfaces simply referred me back to the 'independent' salesman when I needed after-sales service. You can see my brief summary at Trustpilot's review of ukworktopsdirect.co.uk.

After looking around at various companies for our worktops I decided to use Arlington. I worried over the quality and fitting purely because of the cost of the worktops and over the upfront payment. This company has a fabulous workforce, from my initial quote, the help and advise I received from the staff was brilliant, I was constantly e-mailing them for different quotes for different work tops but they always came back to me quickly (they were very patient with me as I wasn't sure which make to go with) the template staff were fab also giving me advise which was taken up. The lads that came to fit my worktops a week later were also fab and went above and beyond to make sure I was a happy customer. Overall a Very pleasurable experience and we absolutely love our new worktops and after worrying about the cost realise that they're totally worth the extra money. We went for Hi-max White Quartz with a Large White Corrian sink.

After deciding to re-vamp my parents kitchen I decided to go for a Corian grey worktop from Arlington, after the base units were installed the lads came to template the work tops as arranged and they were ready for installation just a week later!! A fantastic service and great value with lots or choice and friendly knowledgeable staff.
I would highly recommend this company for your new kitchen project.

Having finally deciding to take the plunge and upgrade the kitchen. We looked at a number of firms before choosing Arlington. We are so glad we did. We had Corian Glacier White tops fitted, and are very pleased with the results. The kitchen looks lovely.
Service from Arlington was very good; from the initial enquiry to final fitting went very smoothly. Very professional and courteous, can highly recommend. So, glad we took their advice with the Corian.

Very dissapointed .they measured up.took my money,promised to fit before we went away,let us down 4 days before we go away,if I was not promised the fitting before my holiday date I would have got it from another supplier.

I purchased my kitchen from Arlington & my worktops too. The showroom is hidden away in an industrial estate in LS14 so I was surprised with how big it was. They were really helpful and not pushy whatsoever. They had my worktops fitted within a week from walking into their showroom. The fitters were polite and tidy. All round good experience and highly recommend
