Good service, friendly staff
Reservation via Sunny was easy and pricing okay. Service of Autovia is good and friendly staff at Bergamo airport. Return process of the car went fast and efficient.
The only negative remark is that the guarantee on my credit card is still not released (almost a month since I hired the car).

Very good service despite the amount of people. The employee was very friendly and did his best trying to explain everything in English.

Autovia Bergamo ...very unpleasant assistant
As I had been stung by Autovia Bergamo before I opted for OptimoRent only to find out it is the usual Autovia scammers operating under a different name!!
I found the assistant at the desk very unpleasant and pushy. He insisted I should upgrade and pay for insurance despite telling him I had my own car hire insurance. He kept on threatening I would have to pay this penalty and that penalty. In the end had to pay extra for car wash otherwise again i would have to pay a penalty! This company is a legalised scam just wanting to milk extra money out of customers!! BEWARE!!

Great service, I do recommend
I have rented at BGY and returned at Treviso, the car was great condition and the service was very nice at both points. I would advice to take accident damage insurance (Like ONE PLUS) than you might not worry about any small damages that might occur. After reading so many bad reviews I was afraid to rent a car, however my experience was great.

Got a car for one week mid august. Because I had a very early flight (Ryanair), I left the car in the parking lot and drop off the key at the desk (hole in the metallic curtain). Six days after I received an email with photos and a report saying that I had to pay €350 for scratches and damages done to the car during my renting period. All false! The car was in the same condition when I left it than when I took it, nothing to report. These people have no shame! Stay away! DO NOT RENT A CAR WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

Great person attending us at Bergamo airport: after midnight he got us a nice car, created no problems, he was quite efficient and friendly. He solved us a big problem that another company had created by "forgetting" to wait for us, contrary to the arrangements. Autovia was the ONLY company openned at that time. THANK YOU!

Rude and arrogant staff
The car was fine but the guy at the rental desk at Bergamo airport was unbelievably rude and arrogant. He barely even looked at my voucher, which was in English as well as Italian and clearly showed that everything was prepaid and agreed. In stead he kept insisting that I had “no insurance”, apparently wanting to sell me additional insurance that I did not need. Only after a long and loud argument did he finally give me the agreement and the car key while spewing all sorts of threats if I returned the car with so much as a scratch. Turned out that almost all the information he gave me about the car was wrong or misleading, too. Very annoying start to an otherwise great ski trip to Italy.
