friendly reception, ease of use, quality vehicle

Reservation assistance, pricing and the Fiat Hybrid vehicle were all excellent. The only comment is we had to wait for about 45 min to get the vehicle, when we first picked it up.

They upgraded our car, bigger, Sat Nav, Air conditioning. Exelent service. Would use them again.

I was given a car with over 110,000km full of dents and scratches with smelly interior and a big hole on the floor under the pedals. When I complained the person at the counter said there is nothing he can do and said "so what? even my car has lots of KM". I will not use Autovia again.

I didn't get my 500 eu deposit back.
I hade a problem with my debit card,so I pay extra full insurance,and 500 eu deposit from debit card.I have all papers. There is no answer from Autovia.

Brand new car that was great! a bit expensive, but my understanding this was the price in the area during the last week of July. Venice airport is one of the most expensive in Europe to rent a car, but Autovia has competitive prices.

Picking up the car was pretty easy but had to wait for the vehicles interior to be cleaned.. the outside of the vehicle was NOT cleaned. When I asked about this fact the reply was that this was normal! Damage was pre marked as normal on paperwork. Drop off point which was at a different location was not easily identifiable or not well signposted. The price was reasonable and therefore I would use this company again.

I made a mistake in the date of my reservation and showed up to the desk a week prior to what they planned for. The person working the desk was polite and accommodated the change to my reservation with no issues. he got me the same price despite the fact I essentially just showed up at the desk. The car was great and had no issues with it. Return was easy with the key drop in the parking lot for early morning flight. Would absolutely use Autovia again after this experience.

Easiest and most pleasant car renting experience ever. Car was fantastic, too. I’m just sorry I didn’t get the name of the man who helped us. Singing his praises.

The car was not clean, the seats had stains and it smelled a lot like cigarette smoke inside. To be honest I find this unacceptable and it is very unpleasant for a non smoker. The same night I rented the car, I sent an email informing the company about the situation and I sent a picture with the seat stains for proof that it hadn't been me. I got no answer. Later that week, I sent an email to the complaints department with the same content. Also no answer. When I returned the car, the employee asked if everything had been ok. I told him about the cigarette smell and he said "unfortunately we cannot tell people not to smoke in the cars"... I showed him that it says in the contract that it is strictly forbidden to smoke in the cars and that if noticed an additional fee will be charged so that the car can be properly clean for the next customer. This clearly didn't happen between the last customer and me. Not having an answer for the company after two emails only makes it worse (it's been weeks now). It only shows lack of consideration for your paying customers. Would not recommend the company and will look for alternatives next time.

It was a great rental with Autovia. Everything went smooth, since the beggining. We collected the car in Venezia Airport, and delivered at Firenze Airport. We had a better car then we reserved, and it was clean, and in very nice conditions. We were a little bit afraid, because we read a some bad comments about Autovia, but nothing went wrong, and we got the money from the deposit back in just one week, as they told us. Great value for money. Recommend it.

Firstly we were not given the car we booked that car then developed a puncture.The assistance from the company was appalling. They left us to make our own way to Verona airport, they said they would pay for the taxi but then did not honour the taxi receipt. Finally there was nobody to help when I dropped the car off and now they are saying that the car is dirty. However the pictures are if very poor quality.

We got methane care, which was more than economic. Nearest refuel station around Venezia is in Marghera, and you can not spent tank when you refill it. Great cost efficiency, only problem is that you can not make deposit with debit card and it add a bit complication but definitely worth the money.
