Can’t give a minus 10 score

Can’t give a minus 10 score. Further to my review two weeks ago still no response- have spent 195 minutes on phone waiting for an ‘advisor’ but have to leave message which is never responded to. Anyone fancy setting up a group to get this lot on TV and let the country know about their deceit??

Know why they are called Bank Park

Had misfortune to use one of their carparks near Wembley Central. Car park had only one payment machine which was faulty with no staff around to help. Emailed them the very next day with photo from ticket machine showing £1 amount due and wanting to pay. Was ignored and 3 weeks later got a PCN demanding £100.
Also sent email to their enquiries twice and got no reply.
This speaks to their business model (fine customers on any pretext, ignore customer emails sent to their enquiries) and clearly explains why they are called Bank Park.

Absolute cowboys

Absolute cowboys. Minimal signage that is inappropriately placed resulting in a PCN. When challenging it they ignored all points raised and bully you into paying the fee. Scumbags. 1 star is too high.

Appalling company

Similarly to other users, I encountered issue with the pay machine which appeared out of order. Received a fine which I contested to no avail. It is very hard to get hold of someone and when you do, they are not interested.

Market Place shopping centre

Market Place shopping centre, Burgess Hill, West Sussex.
Upon entering the aforementioned address, a sign stated to register a blue badge at the payzone. I had to do this on behalf of the disabled gentleman. The machine at the payzone to register stated OUT OF ORDER and to register via email. This was not possible as no connection!
I went to look for the management office to report and surprise, surprise no one was there!!
once home I emailed them with the details and photos and reminded them under the equality act 2010 the operator must anticipate the needs of disabled motorists and make reasonable adjustments in accordance with the act!!!!
They acknowledged my email....but I have had dealings with these cowboys before and knew what was coming ...an order to pay for £100 !!!!!!!
Another email from me and they quickly backed down and removed the fine.....with the wording "we are prepared on this occassion to cancel this PCN" !!!
The sheer audacity when we followed their protocol and this was fabricated out of thin air!!
How are they allowed to continue to run this cartel!!!!!

Total rob dogs

Total rob dogs! Sent me a parking ticket through the post that didn't make any sense. So tried to contest it. No reply! Tried again to email and call, again completely ignored. Ended up paying it as the date for early payment was up. This was over a week ago. Still no replies from them. Looking at other reviews I can see these are completely rogue. At least dickie turpin wore a mask.

I received a parking fine from Bank…

I received a parking fine from Bank Park for not paying a parking fee at the market place shopping centre in Burgess Hill , I have a Blue Badge and I parked in the correct parking area I also had registered with Bank Park approximately 18 months ago to park in this car park, I sent about 4 emails with photos of my Blue Badge and explained all the details to the company and tried to phone a few times but could never get a response, as the 14 day limit was getting near I decided to pay the £60 before it increased to £100 a few days later I was pleased to get a email from Bank Park saying they would be refunding me the payment of £60 and also adding my vehicle and Badge to the free parking exemption for this car park.

Bank Park did do the right thing on this occasion but could have made it a it more easier by just acknowledging they hade received my emails, but with all the bad reviews they receive it’s only fair on this they did come out acting very well, and I received the £60 paid into my account with 48 hours.

Go Elsewhere if you can

Got parking fines for 5 consecutive days at a spot which is neither marked as entrance/exit nor was it obstructive to any other vehicles. Yet I was fined for obstructive parking.

So I appealed to Bank Park and Fines No. 1, 3, 5 were 'waived' but had to pay for '2' and '4', namely GBP120 in total.

During my appeal time, I went back to the same spot and took pictures on almost 20 occasions when other innocent drivers were also leaving their vehicles at the exact same spot. So I believe I had a very strong case and went to IAS. But being naive, I thought I should 'respect rules' and first paid the fines. Alas, having paid the fines, IAS could no longer take my case so my GBP120 went down the drain :(

So if you are in a similar situation, appeal first to Bank Park as is the rule. When they come back to say 'no you pay', DON'T PAY but bring your case to IAS, especially if you have picture proof that you are innocent of any rules that Bank Park claims to be in place.

Good luck fellow drivers. There is always something new to learn.

P.S. The parking lot is nothing more than a piece of untreated dirt, gathering puddles of water often which splashes over your vehicles every time you edge over.

A very unfair experience

A very unfair experience, especially considering their charitable efforts and emphasis on good values. I paid for parking and entered an incorrect registration number. I called them immediately while in the car park to no answer. I emailed them explaining my mistake, and they responded, saying that I would not receive a PCN and that their system had been updated! I was subsequently sent a PCN. When I tried to inform the collection agency, they said it was too late and that I must pay, I received no further reply from them. I have since been given a County Court Judgement (CCJ). I received the letter with the court date the day after it was scheduled, so could not attend anyway! I have sent them an email yesterday asking for them rectify the situation, to which they have responded saying they aren't helping remove the CCJ! Absolutely disgusting treatment, which is genuinely putting me at risk of homelessness as I cannot get another tenancy due to this CCJ being on my record! Over a £6 parking ticket WHICH I PAID FOR AND WAS ASSURED WOULD NOT A RECEIVE A PCN FOR!

Car Theft and no Empathy or Apology

Parked in Bank Park Sheffield and had my car stolen whilst parked and payed for in the car park. They showed no empathy or apologised for what had happened but reminded me that they have signs explaining that they take no responsibility for this happening. Just a faceless business with no customer skills. Don't park in them they are not secure!!

Held to Ransom

Absolute disgrace I have ended up paying £171.95 to park for an hour when I had initially paid a £1 to park. The machine failed to record all of my registration number so I appealed against it and won my case but I refused to pay the £20 admin fee. The words the company used were as a good will gesture we will drop the fine if you pay £20 admin fee. I felt like I was being held to ransom so did not pay it I then received threats from debt companies and the threat of county court! How companies can operate like this is ridiculous! I would give this company -0!!!

Absolutely disgusting treatment from…

Absolutely disgusting treatment from this company - I used the Bolton Bow St car park as it has a ladies only parking section but due to a medical condition and being very stressed with my child with me I accidentally didn't put my reg in properly even though I paid the correct amount. Next thing I know I have a fine through for £60!! Sent off the ticket, bank account, and GP letters regarding my situation and was told it wasn't good enough and to pay. Sent an appeal to IAS and got nothing from them just an email to say the appeal time has expired. We emailed Bankpark and surprise surprise got no response. I have now had to pay £170 to a debt collector - fuming!!!!!!!!!!!! All this over £1!!!!!!!!!! I will be seeking legal advice - only paid to stop the charges going up again - AVOID THESE CAR PARKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Voluntary misleading info for booking in that area of Manchester

0 points for the parking in Manchester Gould Street; they finned us, we appealed, we were told that we paid for a different company as they don't have NCP; if you go online, for that address, the first info that comes is the NCP. As a normal person, I booked in advance(NCP) I paid for 1 day to be sure and then we were led to their address, which is misleading; for the same address there are 2 parking companies..awful experience; well we have to pay now £170..robbery..shame on you, I bet you got a lot of money from honest people....using this strategy...

Absolute con of a company

Absolute con of a company. Don't ever use them and contribute to their greed. I made the easy but stupid mistake of parking in an almost empty car park that they own in Reading on the Oxford Road. I had not realised that the rules had changed as I hadn't been there for a long while. I parked in the almost empty car park for a total of 27 minutes (you get 30 mins for free if you enter your reg plate apparently) so was within the timeframe. I challenged the £60-£100 fine when it came through to me and explained I had used one of the shops in that area and that I could prove to them that I had used their facilities and of course I was within the 30 minute timeframe (Purpose of my visit there was a health related visit to this shop as prescribed by my doctor..). I also explained to them my financial situation being dire especially just before Christmas. I asked if they would half the fine amount to £30 which was manageable for me or let me pay with a payment plan. Both were denied or ignored. I've now had to take a loan out to pay this just before Christmas so yet again another thing for me to worry about (suffer from depression & anxiety... not that they care of course). I'm struggling to pay my energy bills and rent as it is and then these scammers take a huge chunk of money off people just before Christmas, god help people that have children and can't afford to buy their kids christmas presents because this company have taken their money for nothing! Heartless and greed based company. Let me guess.. they will put a reply and put please contact us at such and such email... which they will never respond to nor will I ever get any money back.
