Many people encountered difficulties with payment systems, often leading to unexpected fines despite their attempts to pay. The pricing structure and the high cost of fines were a significant concern for customers. Reviewers also frequently mentioned confusing or contradictory signage at car park locations, contributing to their negative experiences. Customers also frequently found that their attempts to appeal fines were unsuccessful or ignored, leading to further frustration. Absolute spivs

Absolute spivs. Night time parking on Redditch. Really dimly lit car park - really not clear about ANPR - received a massive £100 fine for going 10 mins over parking time. Tried to use their app at the time and absolutely not clear about extra payments. TWUNTS.

Chapeltown Sheffield

Payed for 2 hours parking. Returned to my car within the time then received an emergency call so took the call in my car. This resulted in me running over because the cameras registered what time I entered and left the car park using my number plate. I had displayed the parking ticket and explained this to Bandit Park, sorry Bank Park, but they aren’t interested. The car park was in Chapeltown, Sheffield and isn’t very busy so I presume the locals are staying clear and have caught on to the ethics of the company.

Charge for parking 45 minutes, PCN letter arrived week late, no chance to appeal

On 131 Chatsworth Road, Chesterfield, I got charged for parking £60 as I was not informed to fill an ipad on the business premises with my car details. I was only parked for 45 minutes... I received the parking ticket a week late in the post only giving me 7 days to respond before the fee would go up to £100 (14 days from from the notice). Why was the letter so late giving me no chance to appeal? And for less than an hour? Never known anything like that from any parking company. Normally an hour minimum

Duke J.

Duke J.
That October 2022 I when on google to find help on my printer. I talked to a guy who help me with my printer this guy had an accent from Indian, he offered me a software protection on my laptop computer for $199.00, he told me to let my computer on so he can install that software protection on my laptop. I let my laptop on for him to install that software protection. I did pay him $199.00 on my associated Bank debit card. few days later, he called me and told me that he no longer have that software available, he when into my Park Bank account during his so called installation, he saw $23,00.00 in my Park Bank saving account he told me to enter in the account of $200.00 for a refund $200.00, when I pressed 2 on my computer keyboard he sent scammer program at the same time to move $20,000. from my saving to checking. He said he sent money to my park Bank account that was over refunded. I should go to Park Bank and wire him $19,500.00 and keep $500.00 for myself for my refund, and send him receipt, I did send him receipt for the $19,500.00. Not knowing that was my money he transfer from saving to checking. Park Bank employee that processed the transaction never asked me before wiring the $19,500.00 out of my account, if I made $19,500.00 available in my checking account to be wired. She wired $19,500.00 out of my account without asking me if I made that amount available to be wired. The next day I found out that I lost $19,500.00 out of my Park Bank saving account, I when to Park Bank and told the manager who processed the transaction, that I missed $19,500.00 in my saving account, she said she will reverse it, never been verse since October 12, 2022. The transaction took place on October 11, 2022, at noon. The scammer made the transfer in my account, when he told me to enter $2, he sent that black program down on my account to move $20,000.00 from saving to checking. the Bank manager has no defense or experience to protect park Bank customer’s money. With that much money going out of account, an experienced Banker would ask the account owner sitting there with her if he made $20,00.00 available in his checking account to be wired. Therefore, I lost $19,500.00 in the hand of Park Bank manager. I ordered the transaction but I made no fund available for the transaction. I am warning all the reader of this review, to stay way from Park Bank!.

What a scamming company

What a scamming company. I parked and paid via my card and still got a fine. I have proof via my banking app. You are a disgraceful company with no idea what you are doing. You need to run your company better than this. I have appealed since receiving the fine and this problem is still unresolved. I have consistently emailed them and they don't reply. I have now contacted rip off Britain about this situation. This company is terrible.

Absolutely disgusting company without any ethics. I was wrongly accused of a parking offence for I vehicle I knew nothing about and I could prove so. I was hounded for 16 months for payment with threatening and intimidating letters. They went as far as taking me to court and we had a court day but 4 days before they had to produce their case to the court they discontinued court proceedings.

I purchaced a ticket from machine (The Farley Centre West bromwich),entered registration number correctly even though the screen was showing nothing and when the ticket came out it only had the letter h on ticket which is'nt even part of my registration.i proceeded to car and displayed ticket and was in time the the ticket end time.i left car park thinking nothing else.I then received a parking charge from this company and phoned to say i purchased ticket and they was willing to cancel charge if i paid £15 admin fee,i refused to pay the £15 as i had purchased my ticket under all legal requirments.I've now received letter from dclb baliffs company asking for £170.I shouldn't have to pay any of this as i purchaced ticket from a faulty machine and looking at other comments there are a number of other drivers that have had the same problem not my fault the machine is faulty.Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated??????

Watch out for these guys

Watch out for these guys! Parked there every month, and now I got a letter from their debit collector asking for a £160 fine. All because their app couldn't extend my stay when I needed it. Been trying to get in touch since July 3rd, and only just got a reply saying I have to sort it with the collectors. Seriously terrible service!

The dreaded Car Park Operator

Parked in Redditch. The payment machine wasn't working so had no choice but to not pay. Received a threatening notice - two months later - to pay a £60 fine and knowing from reviews on their own sight that they couldn't care less about the machine problem I didn't waste my time arguing my case and paid up. I also blame the owners of the car park for letting a company like this operate here.

Paid for parking but keyed in 2 wrong digits, kept ticket as proof of paying, company demands £15 admin fee for issuing a pcn, although really generously (not) enforcing the penalty charge. They also state that if it's the first offence, they let you off. If a £15 charge is letting you off?? As other people say one star is too generous. The review site says try to be constructive and helpful in my comments. How about accepting that if someone has actually paid for the parking and can prove it, they have not tried to evade the charge.

Lazy support, slow responses and poor advice

SHEFFIELD BUSINESSES - CHOOSE A DIFFERENT PARKING PROVIDER.
Parked outside my own gym, put in my registration and got a parking notice... politely challenged it following my Gym's process and Bankpark told me I need to go into the branch with the letter which they've already told me won't help. I cannot physically get to the gym anymore so they've essentially just given me an impossible task because of their mistake. This 'charity' company is a scam. I'd love to see some published 'charity' work they've done.

Total Scam Avoid Bank Park

Exactly same as other reviews. Received a letter for a parking charge of £100. This was a reminder letter yet I never received a previous letter. The telephone number given doesn’t connect so I wrote a letter to appeal. Within a week of receiving the £100 reminder letter I received a letter from a debt collector with notification that the charge had gone up to £170. Another appeal letter sent. Judging by the other reviews, not sending the first letter is a regular tactic and having no way to speak to them again is tactical. A total scam and this can not be allowed to continue.

Corrupt company

Paid for a parking ticket in Sheffield, next thing I received a £100 parking charge fee. On the letter it says “the charge has not been paid despite previous attempts to gain payment” yet that was the FIRST and ONLY letter I received. Fast forward a week and then I received a £170 DCBL letter twice saying if I don’t pay it it’ll be going to court. Absolutely ridiculous con. Will see them in court. 🤝🏻

Are they SCAMMERS , I to parked at Boltons Bow Street car park paid for a ticket then after a few weeks I got a letter demanding £60 I sent a reply stating that as they have the technology to see my car go in and later go out of the carpark they must have the technology to see that I have paid , a few weeks passed I then got another demand asking for £160 pounds I replied again stating the same as before about the technology, got no reply , a few more weeks passed then I got a demand from a debt collector who won't answer the phone that charges 10 pence a minute saying that you are in a none existing queue on the phone and make it so difficult trying to send a email . No stars! Scammers- Avoid

No stars!! I received a parking charge from using a car park in Sheffield. My partner had taken my car to work and parked in usual car park, where he’s pays through the Hozah account. Due to admin error my car was taken off the account. So on the particular day (19th June 2023) he didn’t receive his normal notification for parking so he called Hozah but they couldn’t help. I received a fine from Bank Park on 27th June, I emailed an appeal, explaining what had happened but I received nothing. I emailed again on 6th July and 1st August for an update but still nothing from them. On 5th September I received a £100 reminder letter, so I sent a letter on 8th September asking for update of my appeal. I then received a ‘Notice of Debt Recovery’ letter from Direct Collections Bailiffs ltd on the 10th September (letter date 5th same date as Bank Park’s reminder letter). I paid £160 ‘under protest’! I was told by them that my appeal was rejected and that I need to pay £160 or it could go up or even go to court, I was so frustrated because we had no communication from Bank Park and couldn’t speak to anyone about it. I then received a letter on 14th September from Bank Park with a copy of the appeal rejection email, they apparently sent on 21st July. I then sent another letter to them on 29th September asking for them to forward the email to me as I had never received it and that the hard copy isn’t evidence that they sent the email in the first place. I have not had a reply nor received the email!
I have contacted Citizens Advice and have forwarded it on to Trading standards, please can more people do this?? As these are scamming people out of their hard earned money! Please avoid these car parks at all costs.
Update
My letter sent 29th September has been returned by Royal Mail as ‘addressee gone away’. I sent it to their PO Box 6144 S2 9HZ address found on the fine letter. So please be aware if sending appeals to this address.
