Bank park are crooks

Bank park are crooks. Parked in my local gym, had an issue with reg number recorder and I got a fine. Appealed via email and bank park said this was ok and to take my letter in to the gym which I did. 2 months later I’ve heard nothing and have a debt collection letter. Nobody will speak to me on the phone. Total crooks. I’m told bank park won’t speak to me now either. It’s pay £160 for parking that they themselves have acknowledged im entitled to for free, or go to court

What's the point of having a telephone…

Edit: it's been 7 days and no response from the silly email address they give and don't even get me started on the telephone number. They have nobody at the office anymore and are stealing peoples money.

What's the point of having a telephone number if nobody answers? Are your agents really busy all day? I find that hard to believe. I had a problem with this company before and they dealt with the matter correctly before now they don't seem to have any body working for them besides people who send out notice letters. Time to contact the local MP and government onbudsman.

Total scammers

Scammers. Everyone educate your kids not to just panic and pay up without investigating because my son parked at a car park in Wembley for a concert. Then got a fine when he had paid for parking he panicked and was about to pay until i stepped in. It's one of those where you take a ticket on way in and pay on way out. There is a barrier so you can't physically get out without paying. So I appealed and it was removed. Totally scammers taking advantage of vulnerable people

I now intend to take legal action against this company and there associates for the stress and worry my sister has suffered and also report to action

Tried to scam my elderly parents

ALWAYS KEEP YOUR TICKET! Bank park gave my parents (in their 70s) a parking fine when they clearly had a ticket in their window. Then acted like they were doing them a favour by rescinding it after proof was given.

Total scam artists AVOID like the plague. This was in Belvedere Street car park Mansfield (near the bus station).

Always keep your parking ticket and avoid Bank Park car parks

Just received notice of a fine after parking in Belvedere Street, Manfield car park. Their cameras have detailed my entry and exit times and I did leave my parking ticket in full view. I always keep my parking tickets in case of scams and it does show that I left well within my allotted time. Trying to contact Bank Park is a very trying experience but I will not give up

Criminal damage

Someone deliberately keyed my car twice here at Manchester Gould street bankpark. Not secure and cctv only works in their favour. Contact details for bankpark is also useless and no one will ever get back to you. Just look at how many other reviews of catalytic converters being stolen here on google reviews. This carpark is owned by gangsters…

Brave New World and Data harvesting.

Why this 👇 question?
Vehicle type?
Petrol/diesel
Electric
Hybrid

I just want to go shopping & what kind of car I drive is, surely, none of your business. It's data harvesting and a breach of data protection laws
I would have paid cash but
the cash option machine was out of order. There were 20 people waiting to pay and hardly anyone's transaction went smoothly. Some didn't know how to do it. My first try with a card the card was refused even though I went into Waitrose afterwards and it was fine. It took me 15 minutes to purchase my parking ticket. I went and complained to Waitrose who's supermarket adjoined this big car park they told me that their numbers of customers were down and that they had had many many complaints. They even had a slip which they gave me a ready made thing telling me where to complain. There was one lady not that much older than me I am 63 who didn't know how to use the machine at all, I had return to the machines to take pictures of the out of order machines and of the vehicle type question, I had to help her this was not a isolated event. Some people I saw were confused and some cross and since there was only one bank of machines for the entire car park, there was a constant queue and if you were to park the other side of the car park you would have to walk quite a long way in order to get your ticket. The disabled machine was out of order as well. Even if all the machines were working I object to having to enter all this data in order to just pay to park to go shopping. It is particularly egregious to be asked what kind of car I drive this is nothing to do with the task in hand which is to pay for a parking ticket or is it? Going into the future are there plans for this kind of data to be used and to differentiate parking charges between petrol diesel and electric and hybrid cars I wonder?
The whole thing was unnecessary and dystopian it's not necessary to have this degree of control over people just because they want to park their car.
The car park in question is at Burgess Hill Sussex.

Awful company! Avoid at all costs! Should be on rip off Britain

Awful company!! Avoid at all costs!!! Set up an account on bank park to pre-book parking for London road Sheffield as we were going to the Motley Crue and Def Leppard concert. I paid for my parking, for 1 day. When we arrived there was no parking spaces as the car park was not attended and therefore was a free for all, we ended up having to park elsewhere therefore my money was taken and no service provided, they should be on rip off Britain as they are thieves!!!!

These are clowns

These are clowns
Oxford Road reading currently taking them to county court for demands if 280 pounds. However this private land is not signposted at the entry exit. So if you've recently recieved any pcn s from this location check the entrance legally they have to display tour entering private land and charges apply and tou agree to their conditions. So a free 39 minutes session they wanted 280 pounds. My day in court coming closer. Bank park call me to arrange a settlement. I refuse because they have illegally issued a pcn. For private land not ipc legally displayed. Now a fair judge will toss out their case giving me money backnin loss of earnings. Well done bank.park management your disgusting.

And an update on this for all you folks
Their lack of signs is illegal and they have backed out of the court case and. Ot eilling to continue
So 280 pounds charge dropped
Folks always check they are displaying the correct signs and following the icp code of practice
One up for the small people

Absolute jokers! SCAMMERS!

If I could leave a zero star review I would. I parked in market street crewe back in November. The ticket machine was obviously faulty as it did not take my full registration. 2 weeks later I received a pcn. I emailed with the proof of purchase, as I still had it. My email/appeal was ignored and I received further letters, emailing everytime saying I was not paying. They ignore everything. It was passed on to a debt collection company who can do nothing now without bank park's say so. They're disgusting. Beyond useless. I've had a final notice from the bailiffs warning of impending court action. Luckily I have kept every piece of evidence and every single letter. I'm also now seeking legal advice myself. If they don't stop their nonsense I'll be taking them to court.

Fraudulent behaving parking management company, negligent, and with no scruples.

Our very unfortunate parking experience with Bank Park management in February 2023, proved that they operate like a bunch of crooks, trying to extort PCN fees out of motorists, like a protection racket.
Their website is the worst kind of 'wokey pokey', current fashion led community 'greenwash' nonsense, that contradicts itself with parking business revenue management statements elsewhere.
These statements are from their main web page with it's childish 'kindergarten inspired' car logo - I don't know who they are trying to kid?: "Welcome To Bank Park"
"Bank Park car parks are different – very different. We offer friendly, fair and ethical car parking whilst also raising much needed funds for local charities."
The Bank Park website stated Ethos is a joke statement when compared to actual reality!
Our dispute with Bank Park came after they had just taken over management of a Decathlon car park in London, where previously we had been using official electric charging bays to charge our electric car for two years with no problems, and to which we paid a monthly fee to the charging supplier. So we had a stated right to park there as long as required, during car park opening hours to charge up the car. Then suddenly on 13th February 2023, after having many problems trying to get the charger working this time, contacting the charger customer services. A week later, we got issued a PCN through the post, with ANPR pictures of our car from Bank Park, for staying longer than the maximum period. We were not made aware that the management of electric charging bays had changed! The car park signs don't meet required car parking standards, and aren't clearly placed in the charging bays. The PCN was inaccurate as there was no mention that our car was electric, and they couldn't even be bothered to check that we had a valid paid up reason to use the car park for charging. Our website appeal with valid and reasonable claims was just rapidly dismissed out of hand, with pressure to pay up now - typical car parking management response from experience.
Then appealed using the recommended Independent Appeals Service/IPC, which aren't independent, and are just a trade association with dubious management, to legitimise fraudulent parking companies. The IAS has been called a 'kangaroo court' on the internet, and using anonymous barristers and adjudicators. They dismiss all reasonable appeals, and only find for the parking companies. They wasted our valuable time, and their appeals website is typically difficult and very time consuming to use, so that they can threaten with increased PCN charges and a potential court order if unpaid.
The best thing is to ignore their threats, don't pay the PCN/Court fines. We went to Decathlon after all this appeals nonsense time wasting, put an official customer complaints in about Bank Park and car parking there. We also recommended that Bank Park management should be removed for good by Decathlon, who have the car park for customers/electric car charging.
Bank Park have not apologised, and have not even got in touch with the Store Manager and Area Manager who promised to cancel the PCN for us! after apologising about Bank Park behaviour.
It looks like they won't go through with the County court action against us.
Just goes to show what Bank Park are like, and how they deal with their business clients.
The only charities that they are interested in is themselves! These type of parking companies should be put out of business and made illegal.
I would give Bank Park a Zero star recommendation, if it was available with Trust Pilot.

I parked on this car park on Easter…

I parked on this car park on Easter Monday afternoon, I payed my £1.00 for two hours placed my ticket on my dashboard. I was there for 25mins maximum. Two weeks later I received a fine for £100 as I’d not saved my ticket I had no proof of payment. After reading the reports on this I feel very aggrieved and feel the company have taken my money under false pretence. I have always used this car park and had no problems before. Needs sorting…..

Car Park Market Street Crewe Rip off

I am one of many people who used the Market Street car park at Crewe on the 10th April who paid for parking and got fined. I know I paid because my mum asked if I had one it. You can't talk to these people and it annoying. I paid £60 fine for something i paid for on the day. I just found out lots of people were issued incorrect fines as a result. Every week these crappy meters are broke! Don't use this car park. I am writing to Cheshire east council about this company. Utter disgrace!
