Very supportive

My experience was nothing short of amazing. My solicitor was Victoria Duffy, who invested her expertise and time to my case. She was there from the beginning and was only interested in helping me, instead of other lawyers I contacted previously who only wanted to build up fees through additional consultations. The fee structure is very transparent, perfect for someone who has never had to hire a solicitor previously. Victoria used her sector expertise to win my case against the odds, with which I got merely a warning letter on a TfL case.

I am very grateful to have worked with Victoria, who was absolutely fantastic throughout my whole case.

I was faced with an extremely complex situation where a decision for prosecution had already been made in court without my knowledge. A decision that has been ruled is very difficult to come back from, but Victoria was still optimistic that we could do it, contrary to my belief at first!

I recently had a highly stressful case with transport for London. It would appear TFL are increasingly taking a hard line, draconian and unreasonable approach with people for genuine errors - seeking to prosecute wherever possible. My research told me that the odds were stacked against me.

This was a huge cause concern due to me working in a highly regulated environment and it may have had a substantial impact on my career, potentially catastrophic.

From the outset, Jon was reassuringly calm.

He struck the right balance between reassuring me and managing in my expectations. He was realistic, knowledgeable but importantly, also kind and compassionate.

His client care skills are exceptional and he is a credit to his profession. He was available all times for me and worked to a very tight timescale.

I engaged BSB Solicitors to handle my case, working with Victoria Duffy. Regrettably, their service was both unprofessional and somewhat damaging to my case.

As my submission deadline loomed, Victoria Duffy went on holiday, assuring me she would seek a short extension, which she never did. Post-deadline, she claimed her email to the investigators had bounced back. When pressed for proof, she admitted the email was never sent.

This failure meant my case was judged without my evidence, resulting in an unfavorable decision. Victoria Duffy later promised to request a case re-opening and claimed my position was not harmed by her failure to submit my evidence on time, yet she did not acknowledge her initial false statement about the email.

When I requested a refund of my legal fees, partners Jonathan Black and James Skelsey refused, defending Victoria Duffy's actions and asserting that her misrepresentation and failure did not affect the case's outcome.

I cannot recommend BSB Solicitors to anyone seeking dependable legal representation. My dealings with Victoria Duffy, Jonathan Black and James Skelsey have been wholly unsatisfactory, and I would advise avoiding this firm entirely.
