My Crumpler bag was 35 % more expensive than expected.
I received my Crumpler bag quickly, which is fine. However, to my surprise I had to pay Norwegian VAT + customs fee. This despite of that the price includes VAT. Therefore I have paid double VAT plus fee. That makes the bag around 35% more expensive than the stated price. Normally European shops are obliged to pay VAT according to the country the goods are shipped to, including Norwegian as part of EEC. Crumpler customer service has to my disappointment not replied to my inquiry regarding this.

Very happy with the product, would be 5 stars if the product came with a bit more elaborate user guide. Especially the “third leg” strap took some googling and trial and error to even understand its use. Compounded by the fact the actual clip it goes into is hidden inside a little nook in the bag. Might be helpful to record some how to video for less bag savvy people like myself who don’t know these things

Probably my favorite brand
It has been more than 10 years that I'm buying from Crumpler. Quality, design, look,... I love everything I bought from them. The only difficulty is the wiiiiide choices of backpacks.
Bought a bag and love it
Am a fan of Crumpler, and own a couple of them. Quite sad that a shop in Cologne is closed and I have to buy it online, but the purchasing experience is good and no issues with it. The bag of course came with good qualities.

Very bad customer service
If delivery goes well and you receive the ordered bag, then you are in good luck. However, in my case I did not receive my bag, although I got confirmation of delivery.
I have sent separate emails to DHL and Crumpler EU to get this cleared up. At least DHL answered that they do not know where my package is and that I need to contact Crumpler.
As follows, I contacted Crumpler on 5 February 2022, 8 February 2022 and 22 March 2022, and I left a message on their homepage. On 8 February, their customer service replied that they would contact Crumpler and inquire about the shipment and delivery. Until now, I have not received any answer or an update from them, more than a month later, even after several reminders. I have also called them many times. Unfortunately, no one is answering, although on webpage there is completely different information that is incorrect and not reliable:
“If you'd prefer to contact us by phone, we're here for you Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on +49 2133 778 84 90. If you can't reach us, just leave us a message. We'll be happy to call you back.”
Many other customers have the same problem. Moreover, Crumpler answers here on Trustpilot seem nonsense, as they are not able to and will not answer via email or phone. These reviews proves that there is no action or improvement in customer service communication. They really do not care after the money is in the pocket.
I am still awaiting a reaction if they will send a replacement bag, or will refund my money.
