Very disappointed

I paid for next day delivery for a special gift at a time I knew recipient would be at address nothing on website saying cut off time therefore was not delivered on day very disappointed and surprise ruined and after calling merchant ( on hold for over twenty minutes) they didn’t seem that bothered by this I felt it was because my order was small
I have seen reply from merchant and I want to clarify £2 was refunded not full delivery charge as implied

Thank you very much for your comments and really sorry our delivery wasn't as you were expecting, and that your surprise was ruined. We have just found a fault in our delivery set up that was promising delivery at a time when this would have been impossible. This does appear to have been the reason we were unable to deliver as requested for you. Furthermore apologies that you did not feel the service you were offered on calling was suitable, we absolutely do not want anybody to feel this, though the customer services team may well also have been confused due to this issue, it doesn't excuse a feeling given to you of not being bothered, and we will pick this up internally to correct. They have refunded the delivery charge paid at the time. Apologies again and if we can help further in this matter please do let us know.

Very disappointed

Very disappointed. Paid an extra £10 for next day delivery and it didn't turn up till following day and no one can find parcel.SHOCKING DPD are hopeful for delivery

Thank you very much for taking the time to comment , and very sorry to hear the delivery was not as you'd expected. You'd placed your order at 7.40pm on 7th Jan and our cut off for next day delivery is 3pm. The parcel was dispatched on the 8th and for next day delivery by DPD on 9th. I'm sorry if it was not clear that we have a cut off for the next day service, we will look into making this more clear in the checkout process and refine our systems. Apologies we couldn't get this to you for when you needed it, we'll refund the express delivery on this basis.

Care + Consideration + Courtesy.

Care and consideration to correct an order, together with an added discount, following a simple mistake, which TGWC acknowledged instantly. Most courteous. Also great wine very safely packed and delivered as promised on time.

GWC helpful, accuratE. DPD late.

Needed to delay the delivery; very helpful customer service allowed that to happen. Perfect
However, DPD decided to add an extra (unsolicited) day of their own!
Again, GWC customer service came up trumps in sorting it satisfactorily.

Waste not want not

I believe that your website is relatively easy to navigate , has an extensive range of products, delivery service has been excellent and I’m impressed with your sustainable plain cardboard packaging.When possible I use the cardboard in my garden composting process.
