Big MTB wheel brand - Roadies take this company seriously..
I’ve been in the market for the past 2 months for a set of carbon aero wheels for my giant propel. Due to most of the hiking industry requiring a kidney as a deposit for a set of wheels these days I had to look a bit on the cheaper side. I looked at the likes of HUNT, SCRIBE etc but sadly see very mixed reviews. I came across halo wheels, and saw their premium 50mm wheels at a cracking price (admittedly I got a little discount but I’m sure codes aren’t hard to find). The wheels came so quickly. They look so good on the bike seriously. Stealth black with halo politely not plastering their name all over the wheels like some do. The free hub is loud (dogs hate it when I go past them lol). I’ve just done my second ride on them and achieved a new PB in average speed 21.2mph. Sadly I’ve found there is hardly anything online about their road bike wheels really, but hopefully if you are in the market looking for some wheels take this brand seriously. If they continue to put the work into their road wheels they can seriously get very popular in the road market. A massive green flag for me was that these wheels are sold online at other retailers and shops. Shops clearly trust their wheels. Customer service was brilliant when I rang to ask a question about the wheels.
My only thing that I wish HALO did was make more YouTube vids etc on their road wheels as I think some people would see it as a red flag when their isn’t much online when they are actually class wheels.

Great service and quality hub
I ordered a new front hub from Halo as their price was cheaper than those on the popular auction site as postage was free, and it arrived within 2 days (I ordered fairly late in the day). I'm very happy and will only ever order directly from Halo in the future

Great enduro wheelset
