I would like to Thank Gemma and Tom for their help and beneficial support. However, at certain times there were delays in email response, but resolves with prompting. Property management and inspections so far seem to be honest and straightforward.

Poor communication
Reasonable fees, if they actually do what they charge you for. (they only carried out 1 out of the 7 property inspections they should have.
They lied about their own terms and conditions and told me I had to continue using them while my tenant lived at the property (their own agreement says otherwise)
They send and charge for contractors who do poor quality work. Things quickly broke and we were charged again, they also didn't do all of the work they should have.
They tell you they work with reputable suppliers. They sent someone to price electrical work, they priced over £5,000 and said maybe more is needed following further inspection. I had other companies price this as I thought it was ridiculous and they both came in at around £800-£1000 to be complient. The companies I chose had lots of 4-5 star reviews. The company leaders sent had mainly 1-2 star reviews on google!
They take a long time to pass on messages from the tenant.
They break their agreement, admit to it (accidentally) then expect you to pay to end the agreement.
1 positive, hence the 2 star rating. They did find us a tenant very quickly, although I assume that was likely more Rightmove's doing.
All in all, a bad experience, I would highly recommend you look elsewhere for an agent!

I am a landlord and I have been paying leaders for a full management service on a flat in Ipswich as I live elsewhere. Every time there is an issue, I have to get involved because the people they get quotes from are eye wateringly expensive. Last issue, leaking toilet, £543 to supply and fit including no less than £78 call out charge. Local Plumbers did it for £273, I'd recommend them, by the way. When I queried if they had been to the property to inspect the work they said they'd phoned the tenant who was happy with the repair and, any way, 'Leaders employees were not trained to inspect works' A cooker just two years old, their 'electrician' deemed it 'unrepairable' due to parts being unavailable, rubbish. Last year they added an additional £11/month on my fees to pay for their employees 'compliance training', whatever that is. You'd think that would be included in the business model? I emailed them last August with my dissatisfaction and that I would be looking to move my business elsewhere, to which I received no reply. An indication of their commitment to service?

Not a great experience so far, we moved into our property just over 2 weeks ago and this was a week after our original move In date. After looking round the property 5-6 weeks before moving in we raised concerns about jobs that would need to be done before we moved in. When we got into the property none of this was complete, including all of the drains in the property being blocked and no use of a toilet for over a week. We then had a leak which has damaged the kitchen ceiling caused by the broken toilet. Furthermore we then entered the house to find the tenant before us household furniture to be thrown in the garden left a complete mess which after numerous emails and phone calls is still not sorted. Communication is poor and is awful that we have paid for a full months rent with issues still not fixed. Not a good experience for time renters like ourselves.

Having dealt with rental companies in the past who either don’t return your calls or put you on a waiting list- I can honestly say this company was amazing. I dealt with a lovely lady called Erin she was so efficient and let us know the status on the application if things changed. She negotiated a moving in date with the owner and organised a suitable time for the keys to be picked up. On collection they even gave a complimentary moving in box containing some lovely goodies. If you are looking to rent a property definitely call Leaders as your starter.
