Shout out to Joe Frost, Sales Manager, for his outstanding service during the sale of our property. Joe was always available to answer our questions, consistently professional, and kept us fully informed throughout every stage of the process. His support made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.
We'd also like to acknowledge the Lettings team — incredibly professional and helpful throughout. A great team all around!

Chloe Gurney is a very good property manager at Milton Keynes. Her communication is great and she is always helpful in discussions over the phone. Leaders as a company need to work on their telephone answering. I seldom get through beyond voice messaging; leaving messages for a particular person to return your call is a waste of time whether it be by voice message or another member of the team.

Chelcie has been a very supportive contact. She has been very supportive and able to solve all issue relating to my rent. De-escalation skills are worth emulating.

This is by far the most unprofessional agency I’ve dealt with. I left the flat in very good condition, clean and with everything in working order. Yet I received a message saying £250 will be deducted for professional cleaning.
Had I known this would happen, I wouldn’t have gone to the effort of cleaning, just for them to come up with a reason to take my money.
Over the phone, I was told everything was fine, but the email said otherwise.
If I could, I would upload photos to show exactly how I left the flat, just to give others a clear picture of how things are handled by this agency.
Very disappointing experience, especially with the manager, Joanna Betts.

Chelcie Paige has been extremely helpful in explaining the changes in legislation and what impact this will have. She was also great in taking the lead in negotiating a tenancy renewal in a hugely proactive way. Thank you Chelcie, your advice is really appreciated.
I have just finished a years tenancy with Leaders where I was paying a premier package service, will absolutely not recommend. They made many mistakes and are now refusing to pay me money owed despite this being stated in their contracts. No replies from them whatsoever. They tried charging me for things hoping I wouldn't know about it.

We had Alan Francis take care of our properties and since the change over to Leaders it has been and still is an absolute nightmare. Constant random charges that are not explained, zero communication, high quotes for unnecessary works. Quite frankly the list goes on. steer clear!!

✅Great viewing with Mo. Also previous viewings with a lady called Jo.

Put an offer in on a house with L.D. I needed to prove I could afford this and wasted time getting a A.I.P.
I had to call Leaders back. I was very clear so there was opportunity to correct the words. I said "So leaders will only accept my offer on wolfscoate if I list my home with you?" The reply from L.D was "Well there is plenty of interest". I was shocked thinking, so much so it's not STC! I said "So you have me over a barrell with accepting my offer if I don't sell with you?" And I was told "well there has to be something in it for us."
I told L.D to CC his manager in the email who is J.F.
The words in the texts and emails were different from the conditions, then via phone a new condition being I had to sell mine with leaders. I was put off with being gaslit first time I had them around. They wanted me to pay a ID fee, despite my solicitor would have me pay an ID fee.
I was asked to phone J.F. I said no, I'd rather this in writing because of what's been said previously. I phoned some friends who own an estate agent out of the area who confirmed the estate agents are playing a dirty game and report them to the ombudsman.
I told them to explain to me and the vendor what happened. Conveniently replies were missed out to my direct clear questions.
I came away thinking if I didn't trust them, why would whoever will buy my home through them?
For context I was selling a refurbished home. I said I can be flexible to the young family with a child renting as I could stay with family. I had a portable mortgage I needed to top up by 20k. I sent all these things over.
Really disappointed. Not sure if the truth wasn't told internally or if that's how they operate as a company. Well the vendor should be fine as Leaders have said there is loads of interest. I wanted to leave my review should anything go wrong for the vendor and my message not been passed on, my offer not formally put through.
I gave you several opportunities to tell the truth even making it clear on meeting and on that email you have not replied to "honesty is really important to me."
For the first time I pulled out if a sale on a previous property in Emerson Valley. I was told it would be nice and quiet like my area. I went there on a week night 10pm and it was full of kids and difficult to get in and out the road because of them. Could have been a coincidence, but of that's what it was like in the week, I didn't need to see the weekend. Just be honest! This is how things fall through and you lose trust and credibility. Surely you are not that desperate for the business?

Probably the most incompetent company I've come across. They had one person doing deposit reviews and she's a nightmare. Won't listen and thinks she's in the right all the time. I gave clear evidence and reasoning as to why nearly 80% of my deposit shouldn't be taken away from me back in November 2024. It's now April 2025 and the government deposit scheme has just ruled in my favour. Had she listened we wouldn't be here now. They also failed to have my landlord sign our tenancy agreement, which voided our contract. Steer we'll clear of this shambles of a company. They will make you life a misery and then do nothing to help you. And don't even get me started on the woman they send about on inspections and viewings, she's more concerned about looking good rather than paying attention to what's going on around her. Rude and all.

Leaders managed as flat I had bought for my mother and when she passed away i let it to a tenant. Leaders rook over from a previous estate agents who were excellent, Leaders were abysmal from the outset. No communication except for the statement usually deducting something because the tenant couldn't change a lightbulb or other issues. I finally asked asked Leaders to give the tenant notice. When the date of her departure arrived, no-one contacted my so I went into the ~Bedford Branch and asked for the keys. They didn't know what was going on and agreed at my insistence to phone the tenant who was still in situ. with absolutely no help from Leaders, I had to engage a solicitor and go to court for the judge to file a removal order. Costs £391 awarded to me to be paid by the tenant. It took 5 months to get her out. The flat was is the most disgusting state. I had to get a cleaning team and removals team to empty the property. The tenant had left a huge bed, dirty clothes rotten food and worse all over the flat. I paid the people and submitted the invoice for £480 , but was told that I could not claim for the microwave oven the tenant had stolen (no forwarding address!!!) so was told that I could claim back £420 from the £675 deposit left by the tenant.
when, eventually after numerous letters to the CEO and complaints I was paid £270.00 from Leaders, When I queried this I was told they had taken £150 "check out fee" which is almost 36% of my claim. This iniquitous crooked practice makes Leaders a disgrace to their profession. I have almost single handed had to conduct my affairs over this matter and I cannot see that Leaders have earned their management fees. I will certainly not be recommending them and shall make public to the media their shameful conduct of hostility, rudeness, ignorance and high handed attitude. The staff appear to forget that without clients and customers they wouldn't have a job, indeed some of them shouldn't.
Very unhappy customer.

I don’t usually write reviews or complain, but after a failed attempt to escalate an issue, Ellie Maher, Head of Property Management, has completely ignored my email since 7th March. This seems to be a pattern with their management; radio silence and zero accountability. Landlords and tenants, I truly urge you to avoid this company.
We initially rented our house with Alan Francis, and they were then bought out by Leaders. I will start by saying our landlord was lovely and very responsive
We had an agreement with our landlord to terminate our contract 5 months early, this was October 2024, with the view to move out in early February 2025 - we wanted to give them as much notice as possible.
This is when the issues started, we waited 3 months for a DocuSign contract. I emailed Jack Hurley multiple times to chase this, the only response I had from him was that he’d “try to find out how to resend the contract”. Wow, revolutionary, especially from the lettings manager. I also called 17 times (yes I counted) from November 14th to December 20th.
I quite literally tried everything bar smoke signals and a carrier pigeon to try and contact this pathetic business.
In that time we had empty promises of a call back “by the end of the day” from not only Jack, but Romy, Shannon, Jasmine and a few other people. Calling them is like shouting into the abyss, except the abyss is more helpful.
On 20th December I hit the lottery and got through to Katie; someone give this woman a pay rise. I explained what was going on and within 10 minutes of ending the call she had sent the contract through, I only wish I’d got through to her in October. Or November. Or even the 19 days of December prior to that.
When the time came to put the house on the market and arrange viewings, I was accommodating and told them I can work around you, they must’ve misheard me and thought I said “I will work for you… for free” because we had 4 viewings one day, the first booked for 10.45 and the estate agent didn’t turn up until 11.15, a few unanswered (shock) phone calls later, we had to show people round ourselves and were late for an appointment of our own. So not only had we lost the last shred of respect we had for them, but they’re now looking completely incompetent to potential tenants, it’s truly embarrassing.
On another occasion we were told that we had a viewing, and when no one turned up I rang the office to be told it had been cancelled, fantastic communication guys, I have nothing better to do than sit and wait for you, but at least you’re consistent at being spectacularly inept.
Legally, the deposit must be returned within 10 calendar days of agreeing on the amount. Leaders took 21. Am I surprised? Not in the slightest. After six months of sheer laziness, incompetence, and outright disrespect, this is just another pathetic display of their inability to do the bare minimum.
Thank you to Kate, Mia, and Isabelle, you seem to be the only people who actually take pride in your work and care about customer service. A rare find in this company.
To put it bluntly, if I never have to deal with Leaders again, it would still be too soon.

Hello Paige,

It was very nice, healthy and secure stay in MK and its just because of Leaders. I did got so many calls and interacton with different agencies, I got few feedbacks from my frineds with dthse agenacies, I witnessed few cases. With this I was so fortunate that you guys were with me. My family was also so impresses with your support when we discuss on day to day talks with you.
When I say it's Leaders, ofcourse its just becaue of you. Initially Angel, Laura and team supported well. After it's only you. I got well support, instnace response and quick solution for everything. I really thankful to you for your all teh support during tenure. people say, getting home in MK is very difficulet and getting exit is more difficult. In my case both were very smooth and simply its just because of you.
