My experience of this company @ a practice in Barnstaple was not good @ all
I had to have root canal work plus a crown done back in 2019 & the dentist I was with did the root canal with an infection in place, so I wasn't given antibiotics beforehand like normal
When I told her how much it hurt, was told the crown would be later due to the pain, "to let it settle", knowing the infection was still there, bear in mind all this had cost me £540, a great sum!
Then I had my stroke & planned to go back once I was stronger from it, but COVID came & they were doing only emergency appointments, so I had to put up with the pain, as by this time, sometime had passed & the tooth was breaking up
Once they were back to normal, I rang again, only to find that my dentist had left, but I was still on their books
So I left it six mnths & tried again, only to find I had been struck off through no fault of my own & they wouldn't have me back as I was on benefits & couldn't work
By this time, the tooth next to the one with the root canal work was breaking up aswell & starting to hurt & I could only eat on my leftside
It's taken me this long to leave a review here as I didn't know about the site or that the company was on here
Queesnferry , dreadful to contact , rang today at 12 noon , was second in queue so held on , been on for 50 minutes now and still only number 1 in call, my dinner hour is about to end. An hour wasted !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I tried the call back option last week ,,,,,still waiting for that call >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

What a poor service.
Called with severe toothache to get an emergency appointment and told nothing for 8 days , even thought they say on there website 25-48 hours , these companies are so busy doing routine work to get the money in that all slots are filled, even though the NHS say they have to have emergency slots available each day , worse was ethically they have to advice and try to give alternative options , nothing !!

The lovely Dena yakoup was amazing. So friendly, knowledgeable and a brilliant dentist. I imagine she could put anyone at ease. I have just been for my 3rd check up with her at the morley branch with both of my teenage sons. The branch is new, light, airy and the staff are all really friendly

The dental practise is fine in itself, recently my usual dentist went off on maternity leave. For a good few checkups i never needed any further treatment. She just said carry on what you are doing. With the new dentist, all of a sudden I have gum disease, I always need a deep clean. This gum disease i have never reveals itself with blood after cleaning or flossing at home. Indeed my deep clean is usually done a good 2 months after his diagnosis. Still I have no blood in my mouth after flossing and cleaning during that 2 month wait. The only time my gums blead is after his treatment. But as most people know, you cant critisize dentists.

Went for a routine check up. Dentist was late coming back from lunch, not a good start. Their appearance looked unkempt with creased clothes and smudged lipstick. As soon as I was in the chair they tried to sell me a tooth whitening treatment even tho I don't need it. They then proceeded to 'do' their hair before starting the check up and pointing out how long it had been since my last visit (not an unusual length of time, for me). After a look-over and x-rays they said I needed a filling or extraction "because I didn't have the hygienist appt that they told me I needed last time" (really? That's the reason?) I didn't have it because it felt like another 'sale' not something I needed! Told me to return in 6 months so they could do the next treatment. I have no existing fillings but found this odd, spoke to others afterwards who agreed if I needed treatment I wouldn't have been sent away without it. I left, having had a very painful and traumatic clean.
Have now been to another dentist who confirmed I DO NOT need a filling or extraction and my teeth are absolutely fine.
Will not be returning! 2nd star for the receptionists and practice manager, none for the dentist.

Mydentist seems to be okay when dealing with routine checkups and dental hygiene. For anything more complex I would steer clear. There is no continuity of care when emergencies arise and everything is seemingly performed against tight deadlines without time for proper discussion and diagnosis. In my case this has led to necrosis of the jaw following emergency route canal and then extraction. This despite an initial letter from my oncologist and me highlighting the IV zoledronic acid for my breast cancer at every dental appointment. I have suffered agonising pain and repeated infections since those procedures and been fobbed off with repeated antibiotics and stories of splintered tooth being left behind. Given the known medical history, the rushed treatment by different emergency dentists of symptoms rather than cause has led to catastrophic consequences.

I called the Trowbridge surgery at 10 a.m. to enquire if I could be accepted as an NHS patient. The automatic answering machine said they were with patients but if I left a message with my contact details they would get back to me. This I did and was told I was number one in the queue. at 14.30, having received no call back I tried calling again getting the same response. I have still had no response. Unimpressed, Bernard Morris

Symons way, Bridgwater: The receptionist, Karen, was super friendly and helpful today. I had a lot of different requests for changes and she had a very approachable and helpful manner, it makes such a difference to a visit, with two children in tow!

Love the staff but just went in for a hygienist and paid upfront £77 and now charging £105 and me pay the extra without informaning me first or before having my treatment which took 25 minutes if that

Took over our amazing local dentist. Been nothing but trouble, they offered to change the filling I had from olde dentist for one that more closely match my teeth and did getting one that looked great and fell out in under a month while the one they had replaced had been in for years. They constantly cancel appointments which the dentist here had never done before they bought them up and while the old dentist took out three of my Wisdom Teeth just fine the MyDentist said way too complex and had to refer me to NHS specialist for it. If you want teeth whitening and invisible braces these are your dentist. If you want treatment or know how they are not.

Nothing wrong with the staff (Kingswood, Bristol) but scandalous prices. £332 for the replacement of a lost half denture. While the NHS states the following:
NHS Replacement Cost (England 2026) If you lose your half-denture, you will be charged a flat Replacement Charge: £99.60 (per appliance)
This is designed to cover the cost of the replacement when the original was lost or broken due to "lack of care."
Replacement Charge: £99.60 (per appliance)
What is Regulation 11?
Regulation 11 is the treatment band for replacement appliances.
The appliances covered are:
dentures
obturators
bridges
orthodontic appliances
Clinical Change vs. Loss: If you lost the denture because your mouth has changed shape and it no longer fits (making it easy to fall out), the dentist might code it as a new Band 3 treatment (£332.10) instead of a replacement fee.
*** However, for a simple "I lost it," the £99.60 fee is the standard ***

Phoned the tonypandy practice this morning to try book my grandaughter in for a check up. We have recently been granted a special guardianship order after being removed from her birth parents. So, tried to book her into a dentist for a routine check up. They told me they did not accept nhs patients even if they are children and would have to pay a monthly fee for her. . I'll bet whoever thought that up had free dental treatment when they were a child. Just a money grabbing organisation who should be ashamed of themselves. Absolutely disgusted.
Got a reply of My Dentist saying they are sorry but they at at their maximum nhs patients. Brilliant!! They'll take anyone private. So, they do have capacity for my grandaughter but chose to do teeth whitening and implants before the needs of a ten year old. Cold and callous and money grabbing.

We've always had a great experience at the Epsom branch. Cheerful and friendly reception staff, polite and professional dentists, who communicate clearly and are reassuring. Lovely dental nurses.
We are very grateful to have a good NHS dentist.

My dentist - Wimborne, Dorset - what a positive dentist appointment should exemplify.
My wife is terrified of the dentist. She had to have an emergency extraction. The appointment was quick, the staff were amazing, especially Mr Moh & the dental nurse. They had my wife laughing & feeling relaxed, were super professional & the extraction was quick & painless. She was amazed & said "so that's what a proper dental visit is supposed to feel like". She hopes to use them as her regular dentist from now on. Couldn't recommend them highly enough. Thank you so much

We’ve been to see Dr Mahmoud a few times now and I just wanted to say how lovely he is. He’s always so kind and patient with my girls, which honestly makes such a difference.
He never rushes them and really takes the time to make sure they feel comfortable, which has helped them feel so much more relaxed about going to the dentist. It’s just such a nice experience every time we go.
