Trying to book appointment for husband who works full time- Im full time carer daughter to mom who is terminal- they have changed the policy to be able to book appointments on behalf of spouce he wanted a tooth implant- Im at moms her signal is poor as in the sticks at Hammerwich- I rang 3 times could hear receptionist clearly and concisely she kept saying she couldn't hear me - hence was being louder and louder to get the info through to her.
Husband works 6am to 6pm most times gets no lunch to call- he brings me to My Dentist once every 6 months with him for check ups so we can get straight back to mom on a Friday 1 in other in done this has been happening over 5 year ! A simple email from MyDENTIST Chasetown would have let us know as patients for over 50 years they've changed their policy they don't need to phobe thousands of patients- she said its patient confidentiality - Im married to him 30 years and (he asked me ring ) I can't come sign a consent forms neither can he
( just like that)... I have been messed about with appointments cancelled on Fridays numerous times over past 5 years- I was let down waiting over a year for a wisdom tooth extraction My Dentist Chasetowns fault not reading an email Althought I repeatedly called them to ask if I'd been referred to Burton Hospital- I had been they just didnt read Burntons notes to get me in -I got told I needed a filling on lower tooth 5 years on still no pain I haven't gotten it done yet !
No pain yet - this is a true review - myself and husband have no choice but to continue to come here as its the closet
but whether( its just me ) receiving unhelpful care from the practice it has not been a good
service never was like it prior to the pandemic
like I say - if a receptionist who would have listened to my full conversation NOT TERMINATE my call as she said
I was being rude was not trying to get my point across would understand my hands are tied where I am- 7 days a week care giver daughter & only phoned as husband asked me as he can not from his job ! I understand shes just doing her job its the practice at fault nit emailing its long standing customers .

I’ve joined this dentist after being with my previous 30 years. I’ve been very insecure about missing teeth and my dentist has always said no to a partial denture. Second visit to my dentist today for a scan for my partial denture. How tears have flowed!! Can’t believe I have accepted this for years. Shlomo & Millie were so helpful, understanding and welcoming. Thank you both so much. Highly recommend

Would just like to say a very big thank you from us both Linda and Christopher Askew to Dr Cristian Michi and nursing assistant Owen when we visited yesterday. For me Linda after a previous visit there was a chance I would have to have a tooth extracted.
Both Dr Cristian and Owen were so kind and helpful and explained all the options open to me.
While having the tooth extracted they were both so caring and making sure that I was ok etc. I cannot thank them both enough for all that they have done for me and are doing with further treatment. I really do appreciate your kindness. Thank you so much.
Chris was also very pleased with his treatment yesterday. Again everything was explained so well to him and thanks Dr Cristian and Owen so very much. Our very grateful thanks also to all the reception staff so kind and nothing too much trouble. Thank you all.

Been with my dentist all my life, been on there NHS waiting list for 2 years and 10 month and offered no appointments whatsoever, told them I have got gum disease and they just don't care keep telling me to go private, which I simply cannot afford

I recently visited MyDentist on Warmsworth Road, Doncaster for several treatments and was very impressed. On the 9th of October, I had a tooth extraction, and on the 4th of November, I had my first ever filling. I was quite anxious, but Dr. Abraham Philip was extremely professional, patient, and reassuring, explaining everything clearly and making me feel at ease.
I also had a hygiene appointment for a scale and polish with Hollie Fiddler, which was done very thoroughly and professionally. My teeth felt great afterward, and I’ll definitely be returning for regular visits.
The reception staff are very polite and welcoming, and I would highly recommend Dr. Abraham Philip and the team at MyDentist on Warmsworth Road, Doncaster for anyone looking for excellent dental care in a friendly and professional environment.

They are great at booking, you can everything online apart from CANCEL an appointment it takes a very long time to get through to anyone! Why on EARTH do they not add this function to their website?

I called the receptionist this morning to book an rebook an hygiene appointment at the east street bristol location and a lady with a jamaican or african accent i think picked up and spoke to me as if we've had issues before, was rude and when i asked if there is discount for old customers, she said why would there be? Never in my life encountered such attitide before. Please check your staffs, that was uncalled for.

Im with the Gloucester practice after I had an initial problem they sorted it out with great results , the practice manger was caring , professional and could not do enough to provide a solution as for the dentist and his assistant they did an amazing job taking all precautions and explaining the procedure , I don’t think you can mention names on review but I hope they get the praise they deserve , you will not find a better practice anywhere

Fantastic customer service received from the receptionist Abbi, really took her time to explain the mix up we had with our accounts and a refund that was due which i was not even aware of, Abbi provided a exceptional service throughout and really went above and beyond to deal with my query, very rare to experience these days, a MASSIVE credit to MYDENTIST and her team, keep up the fantastic work Abbi.

I was referred to the hospital for some extractions advised and referred by My Dentist Canon Street Taunton. On my consultation with the hospital I was advised that I did not need 4 extractions and that the treatment plan i had been offered was not the best nor the most cost effective way to do this. I was advised I would only possibly need one extraction and discharged back to the care of my dentist. My dentist Canon Street then advised my partner on one of his visits that my dentist was leaving and that I would have to find myself another dentist. I have been with canon street for the last 6/7years and now I am left without a dentist, and unable to find a nhs dentist willing to take me on. The customer service at this practice is utterly shocking and despicable. There is no communication with the patient. Just cancelled appointments and unprofessional messages through my partner.

Went to my dentist in Winsford Cheshire saw a guy called Ainsley Smith,I’m not good with dentist scare me.this guy was absolutely brilliant and very patient with me.he took my tooth out no pain such a nice person,fitted my false teeth perfect ,I’ve no problem whatsoever so ever.i can thank you enough I am in my seventies been to a few dentist visits in my time, never felt the urge to leave a review before.thanks again Ainsley

I have been a patient with portsmouth mydentist for 30 years with no complaints.. couple of years ago they started cancelling appointments ...after ringing as id heard that if u didn't go for a while you'd lose your nhs place ...they responsed with ' you have 2 years before you lose your place ' at this point it had been a year ...wasn't offered an appointment...has now been over 2 years as life gets in the way ...they have removed me from their books !!!
