Great cover. Good value for money

Dog insurance up for renewal, tried to view policy details through their portal. Tried to login but no luck, so I thought I hadn't registered (I hadn't). Clicked on the 'Register Now' button in my welcome email which took me to the same portal page. The only option is to log in if you're already registered, but there's no option to register so I was left in limbo. I called and, after a long wait, a very helpful person tried to fix it but acknowledged there was a problem at their end. She put me through to a colleague who said they hadn't set me up properly on the system but if I tried to log in now and use the forgotten password option I'd get an email. No I didn't. So I called again. Another long wait and then through all the usual stuff I'd gone through shortly before. I explained the situation and asked if they could just email me the policy details so we didn't have to go through the whole rigmarole again. And...the line went dead. I've spent an hour and a half on the phone and can't be bothered to call back. And they put the premium up 30% when we've never made a claim. Horrible experience all round, strongly suggest you go elsewhere.

A very clear and simple claim process. Once a few details were submitted, PDSA contacted the veterinary practice and took the claim forward. I received an outcome, and the vet's fees were reimbursed super quickly. Highly recommend.

I had to make a claim after having to rush my dog into the vets for emergency due to him being poorly. Initial tests showed a problem with his bladder, further tests confirmed a mass in 1 of his kidneys. While I was waiting in the vets , I started a claim on the online claim process. A email had been sent to my vet within an hour. My dog needed emergency surgery to remove one of his kidneys and 5 days and 4 nights intensive care . Sadly it turned out the mass is a renal cell carcinoma, but our dog is home and PDSA paid out within a week of receiving the information from the vets with no problems , Less our 20% excess. Thank you for being so quick and allowing our dog to live.

Easy to get a quote, no messing about and very competitive on price, nearly half the price compared to Tesco and Sainsburys. Yes I did compare the cover as well

Easy to claim money back in my bank with in 3 days

I had to make a claim recently and it was straight forward and quick. It was easy to see the claim progress on the Insure Hub. My dog was x rayed at one vet surgery and then referred on to a specialist vet for emergency treatment. I wondered if this might make the claim more difficult but it was no problem. 10/10

After changing insurance companies at the beginning of the year, I had no idea we would be making a claim so soon. Our Patterdale had other ideas when he got his face stuck in a barbed wire fence… one emergency vet’s visit later and we were submitting a claim.

Having previously only ever used petplan I don’t have much to compare it to. They were brilliant. The online portal was simple to use, and our claim was resolved and paid back to us before he had his stitches out.

Simple easy and efficient. Everything I required for my pet in one simple application.
