First engineers arrived within TWO…
First engineers arrived within TWO minutes which I can understand is unusual but luck was on my side as they happened to be in my area.
Problem diagnosed & new part ordered -24/8/26.
New starter motor arrived & fitted 26/8/26. Travelled approximately 15miles when car ‘died’. Unable to start again. Rang RAC again for recovery. Thankfully some police officers were passing & helped to stop traffic & get me to a safe environment. Obviously had to wait a bit longer than first time for engineer. Discovered the new starter motor was faulty. Managed to fit a new fuse & got me home.
New motor ordered & due to bank holiday delay, new one was fitted on 1/9/26. Quite nervous using vehicle but pleased to report so far, so good. Satisfied with service provided. Many thanks to all engineers involved 👍

System kept me updated/reminded before date. Came earlier than booked because of problem with previous job [Had updated me]. Two hours on site followed by road test. Pete was pleasant and friendly and left site as found. Disruption to my day - none.
