Used this bank for the first time (had never heard of them before) as their fixed term savings rate was very competitive.After considerable research I took the plunge and I'm so glad I did.
The application for the account was simple and straightforward and all their emails very helpful and concise.
I needed to speak to an advisor during the setting up process and she was incredibly helpful.

Pathetic waste of time. Non British nationals AVOID
Featured on MSE for their 1 year gfixed saving account. Tried to open one to put FCS guarantee limit (£120k). Wife is foreign national, 9 years resident in UK. "We can not verify you" (when all others have). "Send this, send that by post". We have already uploaded all that and you confirmed it. "OK, start again - make a new application". NO THANKS- BYE (we had no trouble in putting the money in the other savings account (same interest rate) wihin a few hours.
THING IS - if they are that bad with this, what else are they bad at?
