Really great dealership experience
Really great dealership experience. Mady explained everything well without the classic pushy sales tactics. I had a schedule that I needed to work to which was no issue for them. Even after the sale they've checked in with me to make sure everything is as expected. Really can't fault anything along the journey.

False promises before purchase
I went to the Derby Nissan branch to look at vehicles, when there I explained I was looking at cars to purchase through Blue Light where I get a substantial discount. Two members of the staff were very helpful whilst I was there explaining what I needed to choose to get the specification, showing me colour examples and discussing service and extended warranty plans. Due to this I decided to progress with a qashqai, I didn't like that it only has 3 years warranty but with the assurance I could call up once purchased and add on the extended warranty by Chloe I decided to do this because this would give me 3 years extra protection for £700 and seemed good value. I also spoke to the company who orders the cars through Blue Light and gave them Chloe's contact to try and get it ordered through them because they had been so helpful. However now the car is being delivered they are refusing to allow me to purchase the extended warranty, but are still happy to take money for service plan. This has now meant I have spent a lot of money on a car I may not have chosen and now only have 3 years warranty. I would be really careful trusting what you are told and ask for everything in writing so you don't get burnt like me. I am going in for cancer treatment next week and it is an additional stress I didn't need

Absolutely first class service. Booked in for a test drive with Regan within 24 hours. Very happy with the service and part exchange. Offered add-ons upon purchase which I declined, but not pushy whatsoever unlike other dealerships we'd visited previously. Regan saw us through the whole process from test driving to purchasing. Very professional and fantastic customer service. As were several other staff I came into contact with at Vertu Nissan Derby. Thanks again, can highly recommend!

Update for those interested. After 5 weeks of waiting been told that Nissan will not contribute towards repairs. I was told and quoted 3k repairs from Nissan Derby. In the meantime I ran a cleaner through the petrol tank and the warning light has gone cost me a tenner!!!!
While I was in the Nissan Derby dealer at my last visit I spoke to a few disgruntled customers one of which had 2 turbos replaced on his 21 plate Nissan he had also just had a full service from Nissan Derby and they hadn’t even changed the air filter.
Another lady was saying she didn’t expect issues after only 3k miles!!!
I personally would never return to Nissan Derby

I cannot recommend the Motability service at Nissan highly enough, specifically thanks to Chloe. After having several poor experiences at other dealerships recently, I was feeling quite apprehensive about the process, but Chloe was amazing from start to finish.
She provided a level of empathy and understanding that I hadn't found elsewhere, taking the time to truly listen to my specific needs rather than making me feel like just another customer. The entire process was incredibly seamless and stress-free because Chloe is clearly a specialist who knows the Motability scheme inside out. She handled every detail with such professionalism and patience that it completely restored my faith in the car-buying experience. If you want a gold-standard service from someone who actually cares, I highly recommend asking for Chloe.
