I filled in an online application for myself and my wife, my wife was granted a £900 tax refund which was then sent to we luv tax. They will not pay that out until they receive a photo of driving licence or passport because of money laundering regulations. We are very reluctant to do so as money laundering is to check where the money has come FROM. In this case they have obviously received it from inland revenue! I on the other hand received a letter saying that I do not qualify for a refund in fact I now have to repay inland revenue over £700. This was not in their script

To tell the truth what the percentage is when asked for it, as when I phoned they said 20%, and this was said after asking 4 or 5 times, but when I received my check they had taken off 40%, really, this is a ridiculous amount, if they had of said 40% I would not have gone through with this Company, this is my 3rd reply on this site, they seem to be annoyed that I was telling the truth, as they keep sending me emails to reply, I now know they read these, so please do not send me any more, as I have said what I wanted to say and no more, I cannot remember the date of my 1st comment so I have put in todays date

At first I was a bit sceptical
At first I was a bit sceptical and thought it was a scam when asked to forward my bank details but after receiving letter from hmrc I realised it wasn’t a scam. not knowing what to do myself I’m glad i went with we luv tax despite their charges being a bit high. Well done

I was really sceptical about this, but I took a punt and it was all good. Money received as promised. The letter I received in the post didn't look genuine, but it was. Highly recommend claiming the money owed to you.

FRAUDSTERS, SCAM COMPANY
Received letter from HMRC saying they sent a rebate cheque to We Luv Tax. I contacted We Luv Tax as I've never heard of them. They sent reied with a document saying I signed it allowing them to act on my behalf. I never completed this form and the signature on it in mo way resembles my signature. This is a SCAM company who prays on the vulnerable. They have fraudulently claimed my rebate, used a fraudulent document, and possessed this fraudulent document and no doubt have done the same to others. Do mot believe any positive reviews on this site!!

Firstly I received an email saying that "we have donated your tax refund to charity" this was absolutely without my consent. They then couldn't even tell me what "charity" it had been "donated" to. I wonder how many people they try this with?? Totally untrustworthy and I would never use them again or recommend.

I received over £500 from weluvtax. I had my doubts about it but the process was so painless I forgot all about it until I received the email from them advising me of the amount due back. Can't fault them at all!!

We keep our PPI Tax refund service fees as simple as possible and do not change a minimum, so 35%+VAT is always the maximum fee on our PPI tax refund cases. Typically, our fees are significantly lower than a structure that charges at an hourly rate. Our customers also benefit from no upfront fees and if we are unsuccessful in recovering a PPI Tax rebate, they pay nothing at all.
