I had a very disappointing experience with this AIB insurance company.

They are not transparent with their customers and, in my opinion, they mislead people. The contract clearly states that in case of cancellation, a refund should be issued — however, in reality, they refuse to return the money.

On top of that, their customer service is extremely rude and unprofessional. Instead of helping, they speak to clients in a disrespectful and dismissive manner.

I strongly advise others to read everything very carefully and be cautious before choosing this company. Based on my experience, I would not recommend them.
Very disappointing and misleading experience.

I took out an insurance policy with the expectation that, as stated in the contract, I would receive a refund if I cancelled. However, when I requested cancellation, I was told I would receive 0% back.

While there is a table buried in the policy showing reduced refunds over time (and 0% after 120 days), this was never clearly explained at the beginning. The contract wording is vague and says refunds “may not” be given, which is very misleading in practice.

In reality, they apply strict rules that leave customers with nothing back, even though this is not transparently communicated upfront.

On top of that, customer service was rude, dismissive, and unhelpful when I tried to clarify the situation.

I strongly advise anyone considering this company to read every detail carefully and be extremely cautious. My experience shows a lack of transparency and poor customer treatment.

I am very pleased to have been contacted by AIB Insurance this afternoon. Was looking to insure my old Motorhome and Harry Lanyon did a great job in finding me an excellent deal which included many extras at a price cheaper than those quoted on comparison websites. It was nice to speak with a real person rather than a chat with a computer. I would certainly recommend this company and will use them in the future for my other insurance needs.

Had a great call with Ryan, he was very helpful and professional with appropriate humour and friendliness. I feel I have a good deal and will continue to use AIB in the future

I recently purchased a motorhome insurance policy from you with ERS, the person I dealt with was Jason Gibbons. My e mail today is to tell you how impressed I am with your company and particularly with Jason himself.

As you are aware getting quotes from companies can be a potential nightmare with staff showing lack of knowledge and enthusiasm and just filling in the boxes, I have done this many times and am very pleased to say that Jason was a breath of fresh air, knowledgeable, courteous and more than anything cared about me the customer.
Jason told me about ERS, I have been stung before with insurance companies but having read in full what my policy includes and I am very happy indeed.

He said I could ring him if I needed to and yes the day after I had a question that I had forgotten to ask, I rang and spoke with a nice young lady who was able to pass me on to Jordan, I was quite astounded when it worked within seconds.
I wish I had found your company years ago, I have other vehicles to insure and without hesitation I will be using AIB's service again. I will certainly recommend you to my friends and family

Recently took out modified insurance via AIB and can't fault the process. 1st class experience from Ryan Upton. Touch wood I never need to make a claim, however I have peace of mind of my cover and the level of support I can expect to receive.

I genuinely could not recommend Ryan and AIB highly enough. We were up against it and Ryan sorted the problem that we had. No issue, no fuss, no bother. I went for one policy and I will be back for more. Ryan made my day today - and that demonstrates the care he took.

I needed insurance for a modified Lotus Evora 400 and Ryan at AIB was absolutely excellent. Mentioned that he's car enthusiast himself (runs a heavily modified car) so we has a great chat about both our cars. He genuinely understood what I needed and spent time to work through different options to get me the best quote possible.
Ryan even got in touch with an almost bespoke underwriter, who provided a very good price considering the features and package they offered. He was friendly, helpful and seemed super invested in getting me the right insurance, rather than just rushing through the process. Massive thanks to him and the team at AIB - I'll absolutely be using their services again.

Their inability to get to the point and give me their best quote led to an acrimonious conclusion to our telephone conversation.

I spoke to Samuel who was very polite and very helpful. He explained to me clearly what my policy covered and I am more than happy with the cost of renewal. Thank you Samuel.

On attempting to cancel they tried to have me for £500 when the cancellation fee was £35. I had to go through the complaints process to get it back. Beware of this common scam and remember your cancellation fee as they attempt to make it up in order to make more profit at your expense.
