Ryan was extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with

I was struggling to find an insurance company for my Imported Honda Stepwagon on a good price, and I came across AIB Insurance, everything went great and I was sorted in no time and when I bought my second car BMW X1 all imported I came back again and didn't have to search the market as I received a great price for the quote and I got insured. Thanks to Harry Freeman and the Team. Great service and I would highly recommend.

Artur was very efficient, providing a great service level. He ensured the car insurance policy details were clear with all of my questions being answered. Policy purchased being competitively priced.

AIB are excellent, been with them for many years. I’ve checked every year for better quotes but they always come up with the best deal for my Motorhome.

AXA Home insurance is an absolute disgrace. I can’t stress how low an option I have of them. 25 years with AIB paying home insurance and twice I have put in a claim and they have been refused. Wear and Tear. Need to get a contractor to work on the damage so out of pocket. Absolutely no point in paying home insurance with them. Just flush the money. It’s the same thing. Considering closing my account with AIB

I got in touch with AIB -Insurance as my long-standing insurer did not get in touch regarding renewal .
We have had public liability with them and was very pleased with the service and prices so decided to get in touch regarding home insurance .
Leon in new business was very professional, he explained all about the excess etc and the insurance cover in general.
He gave me a quote over the phone which was very competitive and then confirmed in an email so both myself and husband could look into in more detail.
I asked if he would contact me the following day at a certain time as I had appointments.
He contacted me the next day at the said time and I was happy to proceed with the insurance.
Leon was very professional and patient and spoke very clear from start to finish

My campervan conversion insurance needed an upgrade after spending several thousand pounds on alterations. My current insurer’s quote to increase the value seemed high to me, so I went in search of a better offer.

Conor at AIB was courteous and thorough in his initial intake. Once he had all the details, he went to work to find the best option for me, which was considerably less than my current insurer.

We have dealt with AIB for several years now and found the staff very helpful. You can actually speak to a person who takes all your details in a friendly, thorough and efficient manner. We have a campervan, a motorcycle and another vehicle insured with them. Even if they have not managed to find the quote we want, they are always polite and helpful.

This is the second time Ryan has helped us with insurance an absolute pleasure to deal with and nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend Ryan and AIB after a shocking renewal quote from our insurer of 40 years.

I do not rate this company at all. Some reasons behind this as follows:-

- office personnel cannot seem to identify my accounts when I had them in-force - during one recent call with their office manager I was repeatedly asked me if I was sure I had a policy with them when I did

- when setting up a policy for my Audi sent documents that had both my surname and telephone contact number incorrectly transferred to the policy documents I was sent. This is important as an insurer could walk away from your poilicy if key information is incorrectly recorded YET it is your duty to make sure its correct even if its the insurers mistake

- have had repeated challenges getting through to make contact with them and had repetitive `line busy` when trying

- charge a 20% exit fee - be aware if you break your policy charges are very high. As a comparison the release fee with some insurers is £50-60 but with AIB 20% on a high value policy is clearly going to be a great deal more if your circumstances change

- when I needed to renew when my circumstances changed this business tried to significantly ramp the costs of a new policy under my current circumstances - I went away and got alternative quotes from other companies and was able to buy a multicar policy that AIB never offered me at a significantly better price. I got the feeling this company was leveraging my change in circumstances believing the high exit fee would retain my business with them and, as such manipulative. Other insurers that I have used do not have as high exit fee as this business uses

- when I cancelled didn`t even write to me to say the policy was closed. I believe this is normal practise with insurers. Had to ring in again to secure this.

- since Academy was bought, if you were an existing customer of theirs, the insurance for vans and commercial vehicles, where I had one of both, are now handled by different segments of their business. This has certainly made handling my insurance difficult and staff during my calls have appeared to have difficulty locating my policies.

- Never in my lifetime have I dealt with such an incompetent insurer. My feeling is their are much better brokers in the market that are more cost effective. I have now found a much more cost effective insurance policy for the same vehicle

Ryan went above and beyond to make sure I had the correct insurance, at a great price, for an unusual JDM import. Highly recommend giving them a call!

AIB were very attentive to my needs and the new quotation was reduced from the previous year and very competitive

I just renewed my classic policy again through AIB. They go above and beyond to followup and explain everything to you. This year I was helped by Aisling Colgan who was proactive as my renewal was approaching and ensuring everything remains exactly as I needed.
This kind of service along with competitive pricing makes it a true pleasure to be a customer for another year. Thanks.
