Brilliant store. The staff are so friendly and were even helping me with details of the carpet in their showroom as it is the same one I wanted for my home!

Shopping at the Cotswold store was fun, delivery with assembly was efficient, and the furniture has lived up to our expectations. The only snag we have found so far is that the large drawers in the seven drawer chest can be stiff to open; we will wax them.

Sadly our experience with Cotswold was disappointing.
We wanted a good sofa and Cotswold seemed likely to be able to meet our requirements. We ordered our sofa from the Knutsford branch and awaited delivery which was to be approximately 12 weeks later.
The guys who brought the sofa seemed to be in a big hurry. They were anxious to get the sofa inside without any apparent thought to care. They banged our door frame on the way in and then whilst putting the sofa into place they caused a deep groove to be made in our laminated floor. This happened because the sofa had clearly been dropped during carriage, breaking the protective legs.
Cotswold accepted liability but a few days later made an offer of compensation which was derisory and took no account of what it would cost to remedy the damage. After further correspondence we agreed on a sum which was 3 times the initial offer.
We hoped that the matter would soon be over.
A few days later a representative from the Knutsford branch telephoned and took my Bank Details with a view to making a transfer. Two weeks later I had to email to chase the matter as no monies had been received. I was telephoned again by a representative from the Knutsford branch who once more asked for my Bank Details. I pointed out that they already had them and she claimed that it had been Cotswold HQ who had rung previously. A quick check of my phone records proved that it was indeed Knutsford who had called previously.
The representative said that she would look into this and finally monies have been received.
This was irritating and stressful and not the experience we had hoped for when we chose Cotswold,

We came in specifically to look at a chest of drawers, the store looks beautiful, loved the room sets. The staff were lovely and very helpful, it was a cold wet day and they had just had their new coffee machine fitted and we were the first to try it! Delicious, but no decaf 😔Kate helped us with our order and was brilliant.

Very pleased with our new bedroom furniture, top quality, top service from the minute we walked into the Knutsford showroom to when the very friendly and helpful Mendez & Abel just delivered and fitted everything. Good job lads, you are a credit to your employer.

Lovely store with beautiful show rooms. Staff are all friendly and helpful but also give you space - we didn’t feel pushed into a sale. Brian was so helpful when buying our new sofa. Cant recommend this store enough - always worth a visit.

The store was very well laid out with various items of furniture & made it a great experience to look round. We had an idea of what we were looking for from looking on your website, but wasn’t quite sure without seeing it, but once there it made it so easy to make our decision & the staff were very friendly & helpful especially Brian, who was super helpful with us

The lady I spoke to was extremely helpful.
The throw I was interested was in 2 colours & in was in stock at the new Knutsford shop. I was able to reserve 2 throws for me to decide which colour.

This store may only have been open 4 months, but the staff are well trained and have an in-depth knowledge of the Cotswold Company product range. Yes, you can buy on line but seeing the products in room settings is definitely a benefit. Even though it was very busy the staff were attentive and patient. We felt that our custom was valued and we left feeling very happy with our purchases.

Staff are amazing and so helpful

Joanne greeted us as we entered the showroom, and made us feel welcome. She was able to answer all our questions and took us around the showroom to see what we had wanted to see. Joanne and her colleague were both knowledgeable and helpful

Last week my daughter had wanted to buy two cushions but there was only available. The staff said that they were expecting a delivery the following Monday so I said I would pop in on the Tuesday and get her cushions. I got to the store quite early on Tuesday and the staff had not had time to unpack the 30 box order but said I could come back in an hour. I left it a little bit longer but they had located the cushions (in the last box to be opened). I felt a bit bad about getting there quite early but the staff came up trumps for which I was very grateful!

Beautiful shop made us want to return which we did. Lovely helpful staff on both occasions andKate went out of her way to be as helpful as possible.

Great welcome by all 3 staff as we entered the store, first impressions count! The store was merchandised and decorated to a very high standard we had just gone in for a nosey but made sn impulse purchase of a rug & pouffe.The items are currently out of stock but Sylvia ordered them, gave us approximate delivery dates and explained everything to us.Great customer service from her and her colleague) didn’t see a name in her badge.We’ll definite be returning in the future a lovely experience in a lovely store.

Love the Knutsford shop. Every room set is stunning! Great inspiration. All the staff are helpful without being pushy. The products are top quality. I have bought the Camille dining table, chairs and matching coffee table. I can’t wait for them to arrive.
