Dyno-Rod - Plumbing Beds & Herts Reviews 

Disappointing experience. Took 3 engineer visits to sort out a slow draining bath. The first managed to suck out the entire bath plug with his vacuum cleaner (!) and then tried to reattach using just some silicon. The next morning I found a pool of water in my dining room below. The second engineer replaced much of the bath drainage but not before a second flood of water into my dining room below. He left without replacing the bath panel. Escalated to senior engineer who replaced the previous fix which had been wrongly installed. Bath is now fixed and tested but I'm now waiting on trust for Dynorod to make good on the water damage to my dining room ceiling and wall.

Engineer has arrived on time and job (basin unit installation) was well done. Water leaking was later noticed from the joint between tap and basin. Engineer returned to re-position the tap, and put a bit silicon to prevent further leaking (issue is mainly due to products). I hope this will work by tomorrow. A small improvement I would like to see is a better tidying up/cleanliness after the work.

Pretty disappointed all round. Had a plumber come in the morning to fix a leaking header tank, who had to escalate it to a senior engineer as he couldn't change the inlet valve. Senior plumber arrived last thing on a Friday, so ended up wrapping the overflow pipe (not the inlet) in denso tape, and not replacing the inlet valve. Was also advised to "put some wood on the tank". Turning the internal stop cock back on the problem is still there, and we've had more water drip through the ceiling. Will be using my own plumber who will actually sort the problem rather than bodge a temporary fix last thing on a Friday, and leave us without water all weekend...

After an enitial bad start with Dyno Rod, poor customer service from the office staff with almost couldn't be bothered attitude. The first time the plumber was due out, apparently his van broke down and I was cancelled late that afternoon after having to re arrange all my child care. Then a plumber came to fix the leak, which wasn't done properly I had to get him to come back. Again the leak was not fixed after the second attempt. I called to inform Dyno Rod, again couldn't be bothered attitude from the staff ( especially the man who took the early morning call, so i could report my flood, AFTER paying for the job) I then said I wish for a different plumber to do the job. A plumber called Zack came, and thank goodness he did, he was so thurough and professional from start to finish. It took a few days to retify the problem, but he went above and beyond and generally wanted to help and made sure he done a good job. Wouldn't so much recommend Dyno-Rod but would definitely recommend Zack.

Engineer was brilliant and assessed our issue and resolved very quickly! The charge was very fair for the work done. The only improvement I would like is smaller time frames for the appointments and not all day but it’s still worth 5 stars for sorting the issue out for a great price 👍

Would have given this 5 stars if there wasn't a slight hiccup with my appointment time. The issue was to replace a mixer tap in my shower which was not working correctly. The chap who turned up was efficient and got the job done with no fuss, He was also so very polite and friendly. I would recommend them and l will definitely be using them again shortly to replace another one of my taps that's dripping which he could have fixed whilst he was here
but my tap is old and the cartridges that they carry didn't fit which is not their problem.

Plumber turned up during expected time, replaced kitchen tap which was hard to remove as rusted, as well as stopcock, left everything working and tidied up, very impressed will use again.

The handy man that filled the two holes in our kitchen. Did wear a mask in his face. But didn’t have anything covering his feet. This allowed all the plaster to be brought in from the front of the house to the back. He also
Left a pile of plaster at the front of the house and outside back garden. Nothing was covered up in the kitchen or floor which was so messy. The plastering it’s self is a shoddy job not smooth and also in the plastic edging of my newly fitted double glazing windows. I am not happy at all. Would like someone to give me a call.

Terrible. We were directed to Dyno Plumbing through British Gas Homecare after water was pouring through kitchen ceiling. They could not locate the leak so we had to employ a specialist firm to find the leak. This involved making holes in the ceiling which Dyno would not cover repair cost of because they did not make them! We then had to pay for the cost of repairing the source of the leak ourselves and foolishly continued to use Dyno. This took 5 visits due to sending staff who couldn’t do the work or not having the materials required. Not one visit took place within an hour of the time stated which was very inconvenient when trying to work from home. By their own staff’s admission they are expensive for what they do so stay well clear of this company.

We needed our downstairs toilet cistern siphon tube etc to be replaced last week and Eric the Dyno plumber finished the work today, making a good clean job of it.

Gavin detected and repaired several leaks under our kitchen floor. Excellent work. Thank you Gavin

Excellent, within 2 days of requesting a quote I had a replacement shower installed. Fast, friendly, excellent service.

Brilliant response, initial visit fixed a leaking loo cistern, however the plumber (Chris) discovered a fine crack at the back of the cistern. Isolated it, I bought a complete new loo from Wickes £47.....called Dyno back for an install... here this morning at 9am. An hour later, all done. Thanks Josh.

Plumber from Dynorod was GREAT, saw the problem immediately, the pipe under the kitchen sink fully cracked, he not only offered to make it right. It offered a replacement tap (on upgrade) as the existing one was clearly knackered. Was super quick and efficient and Covid compliant. Nice friendly and knowledgable. Would recommend and use Dynorod to all.

Josh attended to fit a new shower, 5 stars very friendly & helpful and went the extra mile to resolve why we were getting reduced pressure in our shower. He found a bend in our main water pipe. Highly recommended

Underfloor leak in pipe located and fixed. Kitchen units in and out. Tiles broken. Concrete excavated. All done in a day by a nice guy. Cheers Richard. Hopefully insurance covers some of it because it’s obviously not cheap ...
