The fitter was amazing when he eventually turned up a week late (not his fault), the booking system is shocking and they dont even tell you when they are not coming. I waited in all day for my appointment, got 2 emails and a text message reminding me of my appointment day! yet no one came! Only after chasing up I found out that they were never coming as they didnt have my tyres in stock. WHY did no one bother contacting me to tell me this vital piece of information? You have my details! Why didnt you contact me? shocking service and will never use Halfords again. Your fitters dont deserve your incompetence as they are brilliant and have to field the questions about your lack of customer care.

Halfords Mobile Tyre replacement service is an excellent service that I have now used twice. Make sure you order the right size tyre - simply photograph the size of the old tyres (it is written on the tyres). Then match it up with those available on the website. Pay for the tyres and pick a date. The guys who fit the tyres are very polite and very good to work with. Mohamed from Leighton Buzzard was my fitter this time. They have tyres of all prices. I have a very old car so the budget tyres at £50 per tyre including fitting were great value with no hidden costs. Throughly recommended.

Paid for 4 new tyres mobile fitting. By next morning front two were flat although car had not been driven. I had paid and booked for mobile car battery to be changed two days later. Kept waiting all day for technician when I rang to enquire about time was told last slot 7 pm. Why not let customers know a rough time slot? I then asked if technician would rectify the tyres that were not fitted properly and told NO make another booking!!
My driving test booked for following day in my car that i had waited 6 months for but due to halfords not fitting my tyres correctly I will now have to cancel less than 24 hours so will loose my money!
Tyres are a SAFETY priority and this is unacceptable and distressing due to my driving test. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

One for the worst service soo far in London. Company over charged for my tyres. I ordered Bridgestone tyres and I received Dunlop cheap tyres. Halfords Case Reference 00434864

Easy to organise through online booking process, reasonable price for the tyres I wanted, very friendly technician. The tracking process is really good, and it was an entirely stress free experience.

I've used Halford, tires on the drive service a couple of times now and always got value for money, booking and paying was really easy with plenty of time slots to accommodate me and great technicians too 😎

We had a mobile tyre replacement and I unfortunately didn’t catch the guys name but it was at Baltic quay gateshead ne8 3qy our slot was 6-8pm today but he offered to come early which was great for us as we where in earlier than planned, the man that did the job was excellent and made my partner feel very comfortable which she isn’t always with this type of thing he was 10/10 so if you can find out who he was and pass on the feeback that would be appreciated great guy great service

Had Brooklyn come out to change a tyre, he was extremely polite, friendly and professional. Knew exactly what he was doing and completed job in no time. He assured me all done and safe to drive. I drove down to Ldn that evening with no problem whatsoever! Thank you Brooklyn, it may be a day-to-day, easy fix job to you, but it was a major problem for me and a big relief after you came. Thanks Halford for having a next day mobile option where other companies could not offer.

Booked in for a Tuesday. At 5pm I was told a tyre fitter would come on Thursday!!!? Very poor service. Tyres fitted 2, YES 2 days late. Waste of my time.

Greg, the technician that carried out my air con service at me home was professional and friendly.
From when I booked online to when Greg arrived I was updated about times etc.

Halfords Mobile tyre fitting service is excellent and good value.

Terrific easy to book service, used an allday slot for a battery change. Prompt call 10 mins beforehand. Clean van and technician, straight to wrok, nothing too much trouble, explained the outcome and all powered up in 20 minutes. Superb.

Didn’t realise Halfords did all these extra services (tyres, car battery, etc) until I needed help & searched online. Was able to book immediately & booking process was simple (even though it was a bank holiday). They arrived on time, answered all my questions (all whilst changing the battery) & were done in about 20 minutes. Awesome service, brilliant & knowledgeable people & all for a decent price. What more could I ask for?

I had a really frustrating experience with Halfords’ mobile tyre service. I originally booked an appointment because one of my tyres was slowly deflating. The technician came out, removed the tyre, checked it and told me there was nothing wrong with it.

However, the very next day, when I urgently needed my car for work, the same tyre was completely flat, worse than it had ever been before. This left me stuck and under pressure.

When I contacted Halfords again, I was told I would need to book another appointment and pay another fee, despite already paying a £20 call-out charge the day before. From my perspective, I essentially paid £20 only for the problem to come back even worse.

Overall, this was a disappointing experience, both in terms of diagnosis and customer support. I expected a more thorough check and better follow-up given the situation.
