Booked a mobile tyre fitting with halfords which was easy to do. Tyre cost was reasonable compared to competitors.

Mobile fitting service could do with a more specific window which is why I knocked off a star. If you do not pay for a specific window you get given 8am-8pm which is fine but I expected a more specific window to be given to me on the day of the appointment when they send tracking information since they know who they will assign to which job and what their schedule will be, I did not get this. Instead you get a call from the technician about 15 mins before they are going to turn up.

The technician was great: friendly and easy going. When I had ATS come for a mobile tyre fitting a few months ago one of their technicians was great and another gave me attitude. This guy was chilled about where the car was parked and when I asked him if he wanted me to move mine back so he could fit his van in he said no it was fine. He also did not request to keep my keys like ATS did, not that I'm fussed if they are needed but I preferred being able to hold on to them. He was done very quickly which meant minimal disruption to my working day. Would happily use Halfords again next time I need a tyre replaced.

Selling a flat battery which was second as you sent the wrong on first time.Then being told you need to book a Diagnostics appointment as the car still wouldn't start. Out you came again to tell me this time I needed a electric Diagnostic as it sounded like it could be a starter motor which you don't do. So £99 later a really nice RAC man told me i Didn't need a starter motor I needed a new battery, saved me a lot of money by knowing what he was talking about. At last out came a very nice man from Halfords who knew what he was doing, a new battery that was the right one. A Very knowledgeable, helpful person that has my car up and running in no time.

The engineer arrived within the allocated time slot to replace the battery of my car at home. Very polite and able to explain the work he was going to carry out, including some important technical issues. Very satisfied with the whole work.
The overall service was very good, I was given a slot for the work the following day, price was fair.

The hassle we have had trying to get a dash cam fitted at home! I started looking and attempting to order on 6th March, the first slot for home fitting eventually came up as 3rd April after checking the website 3 times a day for26 days. When the fitter (Marcelle) arrived he refused to fit it as it was raining! He told me I must re-book! I tried spoke to Noni, I told her I would not be home 8-10 April, so she booked it for the 9th! I had to cancel that and re-book for 16th, Michael was amazing, BUT it was booked as a Warrantee not a new fit. He fitted it all and I was happy. However we had a 700 mile road trip that weekend. The Dash Cam did not record and videos at all, the screen saver never came on and the camera overheated. It was replaced yesterday 1st May. So far it does seem to be working.

I have used Halford's mobile tyre fitting service many times and it never disappoints.
The booking process was very easy online and the prices are very competitive, with discounts for 2 or 4 tyres at a time. The technician, Laslo, phoned to inform me when his was in my area. Laslo was polite and courteous and carried out the work very efficiently in exactly the timescale he said he would. Another great experience with this service. Great prices and the convenience of having tyres fitted on my driveway rather than visiting a tyre depot!
