The Property Management Dept is Good. However the Renewal Dept has a lot to be desired.

I have used Hastings International to manage my rental property for a number of years now and they have always been very responsive, providing helpful guidance when tenants move on and with respect to changing landlords responsibilities, and my property has never been vacant for more than a day or so. I do think that the accounts they provide for each tax year could be a bit more user friendly (they are cumulative accounts and it would be easier if they more clearly and simply stated the tax year rental income and the tax year expenses).

They have been amazing right from the starr of the tenancy. Never had a problem, always prompt to respond to our queries.

While Hastings International has provided good service, it can improve on certain areas e.g my previous tenant moved out and left the apartment in a mess with work to be done to make it livable and I had to foot the bill. The deposit money from the previous tenant is meant to cover such costs. For the deposit money to be released, I was told it had to be done by a solicitor. Due to Covid, it was not released as the solicitor was working from home. Since Freedom Day, where normal life has been restored, I have yet to receive the deposit money. Hastings has fallen short in service in this respect.

I had to renew my tenancy contract, and all went smoothly, my point of contact was courteous and answered my emails pretty quickly.

As a Company we have been dealing with Hastings (letting and selling departments) for a number of years. They are very professional, adhere to our requests and report defects in a timely manner which enables us to rectify them swiftly and keeps the tenants happy.

Hastings have been agents for my flat since I first rented it out 5 years ago.

They have provided a good service and found reliable tenants with minimal gaps.

In fact with the latest rental Kay managed to find a tenant two months before the current tenant was moving out.

I have always a speedy response to any questions I have had.

Terrible experience with Hastings so far as a tenant. Property manager is incapable of arranging works through a reliable/reputable agency & in-general discourteous. I've had to chase the property manager for weeks in order for them to confirm work, let alone arrange it.

I have worked with Hastings International (Rotherhithe branch) for three times. First they successfully helped me sell my property back in 2015. It was such a smooth process which was greatly appreciated by the buyer too.

Secondly, they have been managing one of my properties since 2018. They have been excellent in finding the best tenants. They are very attentive and able to resolve issues promptly when needed.

Lastly, I am their customer as a tenant too :). They have worked hard to find the perfect property. They have put incredible amount of efforts for us.

Rented an apartment with Hastings and the process went smoothly. There was a leaking problem in the apartment and they sent someone to fix it the next day after I report it. When I was trying to renew my tenancy, Key was very helpful and responded promptly. Highly recommend!
