this pathetic company should be shutting down. I don't understand how this company can still live by raping users. Also many plugins got cracked even with ilok protection, what's the point of having it?

I cannot de-activate licenses, due to a location ID change after a corrupt windows update forced me to re-install OS. iLok stated that I should contact the publishers and request a Location ID reset. It's been more than two months and no response at all. I have informed iLok about it and their response is that they can do nothing about it. But it's their software that caused this issue in the first place because my hardware has not changed, but the Location ID changed. So now I have plugins that I cannot use. Never buying anything again that has iLok attached to it. They complain about pirating, but they steal the rights to access the software from legal users.

The most unreliable software I've ever used. There were times when I couldn't use Pro Tools for weeks because of iLok failures... thank god I started using Reaper.

They sold my customer data. And theres a really simple way I can prove this.

I'm getting spam emails (50+ daily) since I registered at ilok. Well, could be random, you say?
I'm using a so called catch-all email address. That means, I own the domain 123.com (or any else), and any email sent to this domain will be redirected to my main email address. For example, 123456[at]123.com will reach me, so will 54321[at]123.com. When I register anywhere, I use the site's name as address. In this case, ilok[at]123.com.
Now, ALL spam emails I get, and that's quite a few, are being sent to this address.
ILOK support poorly tried to find an excuse when confronted. Do NOT use ILOK if you don't want your data to be sold.

Which is illegal by the way, next time you will get sued.

The most useless, horrendous piece of s@#% of a software that humanity has ever come up. I cannot even begin to fathom how anyone could think it is quite enjoyable and convenient for their consumers to go through this thing. I mighty suggest ANYONE who is perfectly sane NOT to buy any product that has iLok with it. It is quite ironic how those same companies that are paranoid to have people pirating their products and go full-blown hysterical about it actually end up being the ones who get more people to just keep pirating them..

USELESS APP, My wobble plugin cannot be loaded because of this ilok. It says "BAD MACHINE BINDING FOR SOFTWARE LICENSE". My $120 just lost because of this app, damn it.

If you wanted something that would screw your entire day, your sessions...your booking schedule...use ILOK. It's stop working when you need it most...it'll cost you money...it'll make your system look bad because it doesn't work unless ILOK does. When I bought my system (just over $10,000) I NEVER asked for ILOK, never wanted it...but the management at AVID is so paranoid about "Hacked" software, they brought on ILOK. Problem is, I know engineers who are using "Hacked" software even though they paid for the legit software BECAUSE they don't need the ILOK with the hacked version of PT. AVID, wake up! WAVES did!

Rubbish system Took half a day to download M-Audio Air software, that I got with Code61 and then ilok doesn't recognise it.
Complete farce and stupid system.

ILOK are so bad it's ridiculous to even give them 1 star. It's no stars for me. Everything said about them is totally true. They f/u my Air Ignite and it's not a cool idea for those companies to use ILOK to protect them. Can't get Air Ignite ( who are a great company) to work anymore though I know not why after a year of problem-free useage but even having attempted to purchase and used a second copy I still can't stop the DREADED statement of ILOK (ICOCKup more likely) saying Bad Machine Bindings for Software Licence. Oh! and if you think ICOCKup will help you, forget it. It's all palaver and no real human support. I am so sorry to lose my Ignite but, alas, great as it is, at least it was free. My honest advice is to stay well clear of any product you know that has ILOCK connected. Run like it's got the plague unless of course you're a massochist! I have had this problem for weeks now. Installed, reinstalled, rewritten the code, reignited my computer, bought a plot on the moon, asked NASA for help and still got nowhere. Beam me up, Mr Scott.

I bought Pro Tools 12 and everything works perfect, exept for this little usb-lock, called Ilok.
It is horrific to pay almost a thousand dollars for a program and keep geeting blocked from using it , because of that piece of trash , called Ilok.
AND worst of all, Their helpcenter is managed by a bunch of automatic response, giving you absolutely USELESS info.
I know I can not do anything about it , but when it comes to Ilok Licence Manager, I was not born with enough middle fingers!!
