Bunch of liars, sold me a car saying the air con was working but it wasn't. Said they would fix it and made excuses for months as to why they couldn't. Looks like they've now gone put of business. God... See more

I did not find this dealership very helpful or friendly
I did not find this dealership very helpful. I phoned up twice to let them know we was coming and what car we would like to see, we were coming from afar aswel so wanted to double check the quality of the car so asked if it was in good condition and was told immaculate. We arrive to be given the keys to go have a look at the car. Firstly there was no petrol in the car for us to make sure things like aircon worked, second of all the car was not immaculate but we thought well it is an older car. We raised our concerns with the man who worked there to be basically told tough if you don’t like it go buy a brand new car. Please don’t get me wrong I wasn’t expecting the car to be of a state of brand new and all the problems with it were not a big deal but felt it could be sorted by the dealership at hardly if any cost to them. The way we were spoken to was rude and he told us basically good luck with finding the type of car we want for the price so we left and half hour later found exactly what we was looking for and was treated with a lot more respect than this dealership! I would avoid this stereotypical dealership at all costs!

Worst experience ever...
If you are looking to buy a car from here I would advise that you exercise extreme caution. I brought a '10 BMW 330i from this dealer and had no end of problems. Within a week I had an engine warning light appear on the dashboard. They had me drop it off to a garage 60 miles from my house and left me without a car for a week and replaced and injector. Within another week I had more engine warning lights and a rough stumbling idle so after another round trip I was told they couldn't find anything wrong and almost insinuated that I was making it up. Which ultimately led me to spending my own money to get it diagnosed at a main BMW dealership only to be told it needed £1200 worth of work and there may be more problems after this had been spent. Finally after a month they supplied me a courtesy car just before Christmas (which was untaxed and I could not use it until after they had returned from the Christmas holidays) and took mine into a small independent garage and then didn't fix what BMW had advised was wrong because there were no more engine warning lights appearing. However It still left the car running poorly. This then meant another trip and another personal expenditure to find out what was wrong with the car, only to be told that this time it needs a new timing chain which seemed odd for a 7 year old car with 57,000 miles. The only way to get through to Kiteley when you have a problem is to spend your own money and have it diagnosed at a completely independent garage from them otherwise they just fob you off and make out you are lying. Needless to say I will never be dealing with this garage again and would never recommend them to anyone. After losing all my confidence in the car and Kiteley Motors I have decided to cut my losses and get rid of the car after 4 months.
Bought a VW UP!
Bought a VW UP!. Had a water leak but their "garage" returned the car full of water (enough to fill my VAX). The "garage" had no facilities to dry the car and would not take out the carpet. Wont be buying a car their again and I need to replace one next week so a lost sale.
No Service History They Said It Had & Buckled Wheels
- They said our car had a "full VW service history".
- We trusted this was the case and took the car.
- When they sent it through it only had 1 service at 5k miles, when bought it had 40k on the clock.
- Car had coolant leak
- Took it to VW (who would not say if it was under warranty as if you don't service the car every 10k miles or year warranty can be invalidated).
- They carried out work under warranty but we had to pay for service... They discovered all 4 wheels were buckled and needed replacing @ £3,200
- We requested refund or compensation for the additional cost and inconvenience.
- They refused and called us liars.
- Not a nice experience at all, we now have to pay £3,200 for new wheels on top of what we just bought the car for.
