We recently had a loft transformation by Nick and Matt. The guys did a fantastic job and we valued the thought that went into the work they did. They thought about how we would use the space and planned the room around this such as light switches and storage. They were friendly, and very informative and were a pleasure to have in our home. They offered suggestions we hadn't thought about and went above and beyond what had been agreed at the initial consult to make this space somewhere we could use and utilise as well as brightening up the space. We are really happy with the work and would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

From start to finish this is a fantastic company and I was very well looked after by the person who came out to measure up to the person who did the fitting.
This is a first class company using first class materials my loft is now a great space for storage very dry warm and safe.

I received 4 quotes and the Loft Doctor was the second cheapest I decided to use them because of the time the surveyor gave me at the initial visit. I got great advice and I was very confident that this man wanted the product to be right for me it wasn't just a hard sell.
No pressure from this company whatsoever.
On the day of fitting the man that came to do my job was a time served joiner he had all the right tools and he was very knowledgable infact I would describe him as an expert judging by how he got on with the job and the progress that was made ahead of schedule.

I would highly recommend The Loft Doctor to anyone that is looking to convert a loft from a cold damp dingy space to a lovely warm room that has now raised the ECP rating of my home.

Really pleased with the service all the staff were so friendly and helpful from my initial query with Caroline right through to the work being done. Getting a quote was super simple and I really liked the home service to talk me through everything, it wasn’t rushed and I felt really comfortable that this was a company where things get done right.

Everyone I have dealt with at Loft Doctor has been lovely. I've been so impressed by Caroline, Stephen and Paul. The fitter (Paul) was really quick and neat.

Week before work was scheduled, they needed to delay by two weeks. However, we received clear communication throughout, work was completed to an excellent standard, and the fitter was friendly, clean and polite. Would recommend.

A great installation by the Loft Doctor. At first, I was surprised to see Wes turn up on his own, as I expected a few people to be carrying out the work. But he did an amazing job and we’re really happy with it. Wes was really polite and great to talk to. He put down carpet protection and communicated with me throughout the day to check that I was happy with the work. Thanks very much. We’ll be highly recommending Wes and the team to our family and friends.

Honest Review from someone who has no experience in joinery or lofts. From start to finish the service was bespoke and the finished job was outstanding , Thankyou to Steve for coming round and giving us honest opinions on what would suit us best and why loft doctor use there specific boards which are high quality. They have done an excellent job in my loft.
Mike who did all the joinery is a top man, friendly, polite and explained everything as he was going along.
Two more men came with Mike on the last day and fitted a large roof window, these men were also very professional and friendly.
Can not fault them.

Brilliant, job on time, and swiftly competed with great tradesman, clean tidy job, with eye for detail. And reasonably priced. 100% pleased with the work.

From the initial survey and quote we were kept informed and updated on possible installation dates.
The fitter "Nick" arrived on the agreed day and on time, he talked us through the process again and answered all our questions.
Once the dust covers were in place the fitter "Nick" set to work, it was going to be a 2 day job. Fast forward day 2. Job completed a very neat and clean installation, all sawdust and debris cleared from site.
Although you cannot see the work apart from the loft hatch we are very impressed on the standard of work provide by "Nick"

The fitter we had was brilliant and extremely good, not leaving any mess in the process I would definitely come back to loft doctor and if possible have the same fitter as well.

Basically they failed
Basically, they never did what was agreed.
1. Surveyor came, and we agreed on what would happen.
2.Fitter failed to attend.
3.Fitter arrived, spent 2.5 hours, and left the job done.
4. Checked the work. It was shockingly bad.
5. After numerous phone calls and messages, I was told a surveyor would be out to check the installation.
6. The surveyor fails to turn up.
7. The surveyor attends and says the installation was bad and needed to be removed and re installing.
8. Fitter failed to attend.
9. Fitter arrived, spent 3.5 hours, and said it was all finished and left.
10. I checked that the loft had been re done, and it had been fitted higher. But it was just as bad as the 1st install. This time, they had cracked my ceiling.
11. Told I was wrong the cracks where not were they had been working (directly below, where they fitted the storage floor).
12. Numerous messages and phone calls to in the end I had decided I had allowed them enough chances and time to correct it.
13. Contacted bank who are investigating the whole thing including contract, messages, telephone calls, photos from before and after 1st install, and 2nd install.
14. So I have received my money back, from my credit card company, while this is investigated.
Best advice use your credit card, and be careful who you let do work on your property. I have no words I can say on here about loft doctors other than customers being aware of Rogue companies.

Yes, from your perspective I may seem difficult to deal with. That is I am not prepared to except a job your company did that in my opinion is unsafe and has caused damage. Then when I write my review I get telephone calls warning me about making negative reviews. Their seems to be a few other negative reviews online from other previous customers. Job was quoted at £973 but it was reduced by £200 at the end due to the fitter not having a wooden loft hatch. so in the end I paid £773.
I apologise for stating £950 instead of £973 on a review but it was never £1950 as stated by you.

Update: you used timber scant 3" x 2" (38mm x 63mm Finished Size) 2.4m long. Please stop lying by saying you used 6x2 timbers. Remedial work ? He removed the whole installed floor and started from scratch as he said it was not done right. If i was so happy with the floor after the 2nd install, how come i filed a complaint to your office. Also requested a refund from my credit card company due to the damage caused and the fact the floor is a complete mess.

Customers if you need a raised loft floor etc, please do your due diligence
