Loft Doctor (Insulation) Ltd Reviews 

I rang up after the work in the loft was completed as I noticed a big crack along my bedroom ceiling, the room under the loft,
I basically got told by sue in the office there was nothing they could do as it had past 10 days it was to late to say anything, And that it was my own fault because I had been up in the loft and walked about. Which is ridiculous and I’m still annoyed at because the whole reason I got the loft done was to put storage up there. After getting upset and expressing how worried I was that the crack was going to get bigger or worse it was agreed for someone to come to take a look, it was noted that it needed extra support joists up there, that is what had caused the crack in my ceiling below, and I got told without them it would keep on cracking. It was then agreed for work to be carried out to add some joists for support and for the crack in my bedroom to be skimmed over with plaster. Someone came out to add some joists, but the plaster work over the crack never got done. I have rang up to ask if they are still sending someone out to skim over the crack, to be told by sue/caroline the plasterer is off work and he’s the only that can do it, and can I not get someone in to do it myself. Why should I have to find a plasterer to do the work when I got told it would be done as it is not my fault the ceiling had cracked. I have emailed since and had no reply as to the plasterer coming. Resulting in me leaving this review. I have been messed about numerous times and have wasted annual leave i booked off for days to get rearranged. And been left with a big crack in my ceiling. I was happy with the original guy who fitted the loft boards and new ladder, he worked hard and tidied up after himself, but the lack of customer service and the attitude I’ve had since is shocking. I would not recommend, unless you want an incomplete job doing. I should have looked at previous reviews before going with this company.

I originally had a poor experience, with substandard work and original advice/selling. However, when I contacted the Loft doctor they were swift to remedy all my issues with no hassle and replaced/ refitted any issues I had with my installation.

Although mine was a relatively small insulation job Loft Doctor treated me like a large client. They responded quickly and were efficient in everything that they did. When I had to leave messages they were always swift in returning calls. Extremely professional from call out to completion, I would highly recommend them.

Loft Doctor offer a very professional service, but everyone I engaged with was friendly and very approachable. From the original survey to booking the work and liaising with Sue and Caroline to the guys who did the work, I couldn't fault the company at all. We have now asked for a second window to be installed and are very happy with the work done. Would highly recommend.

Great job done. It came out the week I made my initial enquiry - got a quote done and all work started when they said and done by when they said. Tody, good lads that did the job and a really good price for the quality and standard. Nice one guys.

Can you please confirm if the Loft Doctor is still trading as according to Companies House - the company went into voluntary liquidation on 23 July 2023?

Responded quickly on initial contact. We were seeking insulation and loft floor boarding. Surveyor visited within days, and was helpful without being pushy. Price appeared to be similar to other quotes. Work started within a few weeks, to suit us. Professional service throughout. Mike was prompt, respectful, tidy, covered up carpets, took away all rubbish, cleaned up afterwards and worked a long day. It looks to be a good job. We have tripled our storage space and hope that we have significantly increased our insulation. The next winter’s fuel bill will be the judge. Highly recommended.

So these guys go above and beyond! Got a great price from Steve the surveyor. He did ask me if I was totaly happy would I mind putting an honest review on here, so this is it..
The guys where neat and tidy and sheeted up before they started anything.Ben the fitter was great and did give us slightly more insulation than we asked for and the new floor they put in feels as solid as a rock.We need the storage,now we have more than we thought. They were cheaper than the other quotes we got and we didn't need to wait ages for a date they even gave us a free light! These chaps are really professional and know their stuff.They came at 8:30 ish and worked till 6ish and got the whole job done. We will be having them back in a couple of months as we need a loft window up there.Steve said he would try and get us a better price due to the market at the moment, he didn't want to sell us one now untill he could get a better price for us.We knew then that we had made the right move using them. Thank you Loft Doctor and all the team for a cracking job well done.Please feel free to use me for any further recommendations as my wife and I are very pleased.
