Mercedes-Benz South West - Truro Reviews 

Experiencing ongoing issues with the false activation of alarm on my GLA. The car had previously been into Mercedes-Benz at Truro on 9/10 January 2025 - Excellent experience thanks to Stephen Bishop (previous 5-star review explains). However, as is the way with complex vehicle electrical systems, the initial and ‘sensible’ rectification work resolved the problem for only one night; my car alarm continued to malfunction over the weekend with 6 or 7 activations - mostly between 3.00am and 5.00am. I emailed Stephen Bishop with a summary of issues and screen shots from emails received via MercedesMe. I received a telephone call from Stephen Bishop first thing on Monday morning explaining what action he proposed. A car was dropped off at my home and my car taken away for repair. Today, I have collected my vehicle - just missing a call from Ben who said they had a driver who could do the ‘swop’ to save me going to the Dealership - by the time I called back, the ‘spare’ member of staff was no longer available however, the offer was much appreciated. Car is now back and I (and my neighbours) will be hoping that the alarm is only triggered if someone is trying to get into, or tow-away the car! Thanks again to ALL staff involved at Mercedes-Benz Truro, not just Steve Bishop and Ben, but also, those technicians who worked on the car, the gentleman who ‘welcomes’ you to the Dealership, the Receptionist Team and the individual who washes the car before collection. Wonderful Team and thank you all.

My 2011 E class failed its MOT on a corroded subframe.
A friend recommended contacting Mercedes Benz because there was in fact a product recall on this part.
I found Daniel and Jack at Mercedes Benz South West to be extremely helpful and both of them kept me continuously updated on the progress of the work.
I was so impressed with the after sale customer care, I decided to ask Jack to carry out a routine service and complete a few other jobs whilst he had my vehicle.
This is my first Mercedes Benz I have owned and the first time I have taken it to the main dealership.
Despite the fact my car is 14 years old and I am not the original owner I was very impressed with the level of care and after sale service I received.
I will definitely be arranging all my services with them in the future and both myself and my partner are seriously considering replacing our car with another Mercedes when the time comes.

I needed a small chip in my windscreen rectified. This was only a £50 job, but the dealership dealt with the job in a professional manner, nothing was too much trouble. I was given the use of a loan car. The staff were helpful and courteous. The standard of repair was excellent. Need I say more ?

The staff at Mercedes Truro were great. You get a very warm welcome on arrival and the service department keep ,you updated on progress along with a short video of any issues they might find. It was hoovered and cleaned upon completion. Great service all round.

I have been going to benz in truro now for about 2 years.

In that time they have been outstanding. Nothing is ever a problem. I get the car collected from the house and delivered back as I live too far away.

Josh or Ben take care of everything and make the whole process as simple as can be. And of course the service from start to finish is nothing short of the best.

I don't go nowhere else. Dont trust no one else but the specialists down there.

The Mercedes team from reception through to service were very professional throughout my visit for my MOT and service. The electric EQA courtesy car was excellent to drive and try out.

The staff are very welcoming and the service department very organised. My loan car is always ready. I am kept informed of what is happening and if there are any issues with my car. The car health check is very good. The reception girls are always polite and helpful. Mercedes Truro is a lovely garage to visit.

The mechanics are superb, always have been, I have used this garage for the last 20 years always good. Their problem is the booking system, you call Exeter they in turn book you in, unfortunately this does not happen, it took me 2 days to finally get a call back, after leaving lots of messages. Come on Mercedes you are losing customers, get the booking system back to Truro, the staff want it, your customers definitely do

The staff at the Truro Mercedes Benz dealership at Truro were very helpful regarding work that needed to be done. However the admin arrangements seem to go awry re booking car in and arranging collection. Bookings seem to be handled by third party - when I needed some amendment to original booking could not get hold of them - no reply to phone calls and emails. I rang the dealership direct and they offered free collection - which I accepted and agreed vehicle could be collected at 9.00am. I was then surprised when they arrived to collect it at 8.00am. Good customer service is not only about carrying the work out to a good standard - it’s also about getting the admin right first time

When I arrived I was taken into the service department within 5 minutes.
I was then informed on approx. time off service.
The car was completed at the time specified time completely washed and ready to go.
Excellent service. I would recommend this company to anyone.
