When to Northgate Blaydon with problems…
When to Northgate Blaydon with problems to my new van .I was made welcome straight away by the staff especially Russ an Emma who were on the desk.I told them my problem I was having an Russ an another colleague came out an check my van within 10 mins they diagnosed the issue I was having an after a quick discussion ,they told me the van would have to come into garage.I went back to there office were I was offer a coffee by Emma an manager of the office who was very polite as all the staff was an a quick solution was found by Emma ,she help me with the paperwork an a replacement was bought around by Emma.I just wished you could get this kind service everywhere else you have a problem with van or car. In all it took 20 minutes an I was sorted to carry on my shift.Thank you keep up the good work Steven Watson

Blaydon front of house staff
It's plain to see Northgate Blaydon have changed their front of desk staff. I was served by Emma who went over and above to make sure I got sorted this weekend.
What a refreshing change from her surly non cooperative predecessors.
Even the fact you get acknowledged, and a quick 'be with you as soon as' is all it takes to let you know your presence has been noted, and although it's busy you will be dealt with. Finally someone who understands customer service.
There's a whole new friendlier, can do attitude about the place. So I've no hesitation in leaving a positive review.

Had windscreen wiper problems so phoned…
Had windscreen wiper problems so phoned up and was told I couldn’t have an appointment, I had to be a walk-in. Arrived at your branch at 09.10 and took 20mins to be seen, I appreciate you were busy. Got told it would be a 2hr minimum wait which was fine, at 13.32 whilst I’m writing this it’s just being looked at now. Absolute joke.

Received a replacement van straight away to get me back on the road as my other vehicle had to be repaired.The two girls on reception where very polite and friendly especially Emma who dealt with my problem quickly and efficiently.She was also very friendly and polite throughout exceptional customer skills.

Avoid unless you have no alternative!
So after a non fault accident I contacted Northgate out of courtesy to let them know and to also let them know that my insurer had appointed a Ford approved repairer to take care of the issue whilst also supplying me with a fully insured courtesy vehicle whilst mine was in for repair. Northgate advised that all repairs needed to be done in house by their own body shop (not Ford approved). As I was left with no option I cancelled down the claim and set about sorting out a date with Northgate to now be told that I would be charged for the courtesy vehicle as well as my vehicle whilst it’s in for repair and that I would also have to transfer my insurance over to the courtesy vehicle suffering admin fees both ways. Northgate seem to want their own body repair work but don’t want to handle any of the claim which is undoubtedly left to the hirer…. This wouldn’t be a problem if that didn’t leave the hirer out of pocket!

Jen was excellent!
My van went in for a new key to be programmed. The whole process was very well organised with email appointments and reminders. A replacement van was provided and dispatched by Jen who was both pleasant and professional in dealing with the dispatch and return of my van. A very pleasant experience.

What my van into Northgate through…
Took my van into Northgate for placement breaks was told there would be a replacement van for me however there was not one available and now I have to sort out my own way home. As they are to busy. Why tell people there would be a van available and have them turn up only to sort out of arrangements
