Pierre alexandre Thiefs and Scammers

scammers, thiefs and many other words.
I have paid for 2 full memberships and a full course of laser almost £800 as presents and now they are close down and no one answer the phone or the thousands emails I have sent to get my money refunded.
The only one time they have answered was to ask me for my full bank account details to be sent by email which I thought was odd so I didnt send them so call me again to send them and when I said that they can use the details of my credit card used to pay for the treatments it was then that they stop calling me or emailing me.
Probably they are scamming peoples accounts.
I was told that if you contact your card company they will refund you the money.
I hope so but this bunch of thiefs and loosers should get cought.

Shut down & took my money! Go to jail!

This is the most disgusting salon and shame on the owners. I paid and booked for a laser appointment in the premier Manchester location. They took my money and told me they were open on Bank holiday at 9am. I had email and text confirmation.

I arrived the shop was closed. Then they pretended this was my fault!! They rescheduled my appointment, kept tagging me along when they had completely shut their business and gone into debt just to keep my money.

I believe the owners should go to Jail! I have still not received my money back. They are complete thieves in Manchester.

I don't even know where to begin

I don't even know where to begin, paid over 550 pounds for laser Hair removal packages which I will never get back. I had an appointment on Friday for a full body laser treatment only to see a sign on the door that said that the store has been closed till further notice!! This, by the way, was the fourth time my appointment was cancelled . I worked so hard to save that money for these much needed treatments due to a hormonal condition - I am devastated by this news-how do I get back my money?? Is there any way-please can someone give me an answer???

Scam artists

Scam artists! Such a shame as they did a great job on my hair the first and only time I got to go. I've tried popping in to book other appointments and they were closed when they were due to be open. And then the icing on the cake today when I turned up for an appointment which has been booked in for over a month... For it yet again to be closed! Even though I received a text a few days ago to remind me of the very appointment I had today. I'll be going to the ombudsman about this... I paid over £200 for a 6-month membership which so far I've only received less than £90 for hair treatments. We deserve our money back!

Shame

I was a client of the Didsbury branch, I paid £ 350 for a year of treatment that I could not finish. The company has been very unprofessional since the beginning, however the staff was excellent especially Ashley who did my hair with professionalism and passion. It hurts me to read reviews that try to discredit her when she was the only reason for which I pay for the treatment, I witness that she gave the best of her every day to keep clients happy despite the disorganization that the head office had with the appointments. I attest that she is an excellent person and her work is professional and out of standards! She is amazing! The company knew very well what they were doing, many people paid for treatments in advance and they canceled appointments and played with clients' time, and they put the staff to face for them, now they have closed all the salons and website, social media, etc, there is no way to get the terms and conditions of the services that have been paid to be able to make the claims. And in addition to the fraud made to clients and the staff, the company continue selling in Groupon and placing fake 5 stars reviews over here. I hope the law reaches them so that they do not continue hurting people in this way.

Victim Blaming

The "ex salon manager" - in great Pierre Alexandre style, there's never a name. If you feel so confident in your words why don't you just show it?

How bold of you blaming the staff for all the complaints. You should feel lucky you got the people that you had because most of it was even too good to be there. You should learn to be humble and show some respect both to your staff and the clients.

Knowing that obviously there will always be difficult clients and there's nothing you can do to change that, the clients often received a bad service because the facilities and the products were not to appropriate standards, not because of alleged bad services from staff. In fact, an important part of the clients, the regular ones, used to come to Pierre Alexandre only because of the stylists and would often complain about the business instead. If instead of relying on Groupon and Treatwell one-off clients' reviews for feedback you would've listened to receptionists and stylist/beauticians a bit more you would've had a different vision of your business. But you clearly thought your staff to be not that smart so they were never involved actively in anything except for sales.

Along with this, the staff was under pressure and stressed and although this doesn't justify ill behaviours, it still affects the productivity of the business in general. I really shouldn't be telling you this as how obvious it is. The staff turnover was due to the morale and reputation of the business. Or what else could lead a person to prefer unemployment again to a job they just got?

This said, don't use the excuse of clients asking for a refund for your financial problems, as if they were not entitled their money back. If you're not able to honour the services that you sold, you get that refund out, that's it. If then you struggle financially it's not because of those refunds but because of your sloppiness in running the business. Stop making excuses (to use the same words we were told when the staff expressed how low the morale was at times).

Why do you complain about clients wanting things for free? Even though you're selling cheap services they will still have to be to acceptable standards. It was a business philosophy to charge less than average to attract different clientele. So why are you complaining now that clients ruined the salon? You just attracted that type of clientele. So it's on you.

And to finish, "by pure greed on their part"? I can only answer this with "LOL". May I remind you of how the staff was often not paid the right amount and often overworked. So you called being fairly treated and wanting to be able to provide for themselves and families being greedy and selfish? Wow.

The fact that you wrote a numbered list like you're talking to someone stupid is extremely disrespectful as well as the questionable truthfulness of some of its claims. I won't comment specifically the events of past months as I wasn't there, but the reputation was getting worse and worse even when I was still there but apparently, the main thing to focus on was "expanding", not building a solid team and business in the branches that were already up and running.

None of the people in charge would ever put their name or face to resolve the issues, most of the times we were just left to ourselves to deal with anything that would happen in the salon like you were irritated and ashamed to deal with things like that as if it was our salon, not yours. If it's such a burden why did you chose that clientele, and if the staff wasn't good enough why did you hire them? I guess it's easy to fill a salon with clients charging pennies and hiring staff for just above minimum wage. You just decided to go for that kind of salon that's it. You're free to make your own decisions so don't blame it on them, they are your own decision after all.

I wish you all the best for your future endeavours as I did last time when I left ;)

Ex Salon Manager

1. Clients received a bad service due to lack of care from staff and staff turnover.

2. Clients applying for a refund to their bank.

3. Card merchant marked the high level of chargebacks as suspicious and froze the companies access to funds

4. Salon stopped using card machines in order to pay current bills whilst passing the issue with the bank to solicitors and accountants.

5. Suppliers and Landlords agreed to lower their fees until the situation was resolved.

6. Didsbury manager found on companies house a new company (business is multi locational) and created a gossip storm about the business closing and decided to leave, furthermore, approach other staff to do the same.

7. Didsbury salon then closes down

8. The rest of the staff then received part wages paid in cash and were asked to wait for a few days due to the situation.

9. One of the stylists then stole money from the till at end of her working day to make sure she didn’t have to wait.

10. Other staff then stole products, foil machines and music system on the pay day.

11. Company management decides to close due to not being able to recover.

I think the offer should have stated a better fair use policy from the start as they didn’t take into account that clients would abuse the fair usage of the membership which put so much pressure on us

We had to deal with groupon and treatwell clients who were seeking for the cheapest hair cut and complained just to get something for free.

It’s not rocket science, some clients and some staff ruined and closed Pierre Alexandre by pure greed on they’re part. No one chose to close it for a quick pay off or to go out of business. It happened because people are selfish and not accurate regarding the truth.

Bought a voucher for 6 months hair…

Bought a voucher for 6 months hair treatments for £199 at didsbury store which I used for 3 months although did have numerous cancellations, stupidly topped up to get another 6 months for another £199 before offer went off and thereafter they started cancelling all the time. Tried to book in again only to find out store had closed. Really annoyed I trusted them. They took my money knowing they were in trouble with the business. Totally unprofessional set up. I paid by debit card so little chance of recovering any. I’d be happy to just get back the recent £199 but don’t think I can on debit card. So gutted as I can Not afford to lose this amount of money as only work part time ... beware of this company and stay clear of their scam offers . Not even sure if all the stores have now closed down think gone into liquidation

Fraudsters.

Someones set up this page re victims of PA:
https :// www. facebook. com / pg / victimsofpa/about/?ref=page_internal.
(Remove the spaces)

This shop has closed down in Leeds this week without warning. No one was answering phones since last week as I tried to cancel my appointment. No website was up nor live chat - said currently "under maintainance".
Still had appoinment confirmation texts the day before. I was actually in the shop last Thursday 25th! They had taken on new staff recently as well.
Went to the shop itself this week to find it closed 2 days running. Stock still on shelves.
Yesterday I have seen on google it says permanently closed. I posted on Leedsface on Facebook to query what's gone on as yesterday I had an appointment booked.
Found out that staff have not paid and customers have not had their courses of treatments or memberships fullfilled despite paying recently. There are still offers on groupon/wowcher as well.
In April the shop had been saying the card machine was broken so were only taking cash which looks suspicious. But if anyone paid for packages by Credit Card then check with your bank re: section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act to see if you can claim it back. If it was a debit card you could use Chargeback. Fingers crossed.
The link for a FB page re: victims of PA is what a staff member set up so we can all keep track and share their experiences. You can find the link on my post yesterday on Leedsface as well.

Awful

Terrible when they were in business and now they've closed.
Take your money up front then cancel bookings, don;t answer the phone etc. Fake 5 star reviews everywhere.

Same as everyone else

Paid for an 8 week service, had 2 treatments in 2 weeks (after taking a month to get an appointment) - neither of which what I asked for, poor quality, generally didn't know what they were doing, rushed. Attempted to call for a further appointment to get it fixed & found that they've disappeared off the face of the earth.

I have bought 6 full body laser treatments, have had 4 treatments, still had 2 outstanding. They then sold me another package of 6 full body treatments as it was on special offer. All in all I have 8 treatments remaining totalling over £1000.
I had my appointment today, was left a voicemail on Friday saying their machine was broke and I’d need to re-arrange my appointment. Have been trying to call back ever since but unable to get through to anyone. Just read online the store has shut down.

I have contacted the Birmingham store which are apparently still open and operating. But the lady there said she couldn’t comment on any other stores and gave me the number for HQ. Unable to get through to anyone at HQ.

Awful company!

Can someone please link the Facebook page as I can’t find it

Have posted on this before about my experience. Reading further reviews it’s appalling. I contacted radio4 consumer programme who covered my story and have just reported them to trading standards. I will be contacting companies house. This company is still posting special offer treatments on Groupon. I suggest people take their complaints further. It’s fraud and they need to be stopped!

Fraud

I was supposed to have an appointment here today. I turned up to the salon to find out it was closed. When I made the appointment a few days ago and queried about using a Groupon voucher, the staff said they weren't taking them at the time. I should have known something was up then. For all those who have been impacted, please report them to Trading standards and pursue them legally so that they dont scam other people.

Immoral, Fraudulent company

Bought a Groupon Voucher for the hollywood treatment and then forced to spend another £60 instore as they said this only covered the bikini (even though the Ts&Cs said it was a full hollywood).
Cant get through to them via the phone as the line cuts out after 10mins. I find the recent fake 5 star reviews hilarious and further proof of their immoral business behaviour!
Absolutely gutted i have spent £120 for nothing and will not be getting a refund :(

Fraud - paid over £100 for laser hair removal 6 months ago and haven’t received one treatment. I call on a weekly basis and every appointment has been cancelled. They say they won’t refund my money either. I booked through groupon who also won’t help.
I don’t really understand how this is legal??
They have taken my money but won’t answer any emails to explain why they can’t refund or cancel every appointment.
