Ok I admit I've never been here no plan to. But having read the 5 star reviews all from what I can see are men in India?( not a normal north west England salons groups clientele) also they are all same day - weirdly after they appeared the BBCs you and yours programme featured them... date I say these are some sort of misguided damage control by the owners of this obviously poor business.

I've previously given a review on the terrible service and lack of communication from management so after 3 months of constant calls/emails/live chat to just be told a manager would call me back and they dont, I've finally gone to consumer protection who is passing my complaint onto trading standards. They were extremely helpful and I suggest anyone else who is having problems with this terrible company to give them a call on 03454040506 option 2

Both me and my sister prepaid for LED facial and a massage, appointments were then cancelled and took about a month to reschedule, we then turned up for the rescheduled appointment and was informed by the hairdressers that Pierre Alexandre had not been in at all and the salon was in fact closed down. Tried calling the appointment line and head office on numerous occasions, no answer!! Have emailed the head office and still no answer!! Disgusting customer service and most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Rip off merchants taking bookings and customers money with no intention of carrying out the appointments. Would not recommend any of the Pierre Alexandre salons to anyone!!

Honestly where do I begin, I went to the salon for a facial and start to finish had a terrible time.
1. Room was dirty
2. No bed roll
3. Didn’t ask my skin type or do a consultation
4. Got it all in my hair
5. Kept walking off to rinse the face cloths, god knows how many people she used them on, clicking around in heels
6. Loud music and chatting employees from the salon
7. Toned my dry face twice
8. I was taken in late
9. It lasted 17 minutes not 30
10. She used latex gloves the whole time and didn’t ask if I had a latex allergy, or any allergies for that matter.
11. She tried to tell me that I need microdermabrasion and a peel for the spiky hair on my chin from shaving...I am very fair haired and have never shaved my chin, also how would she tell with the gloves on

... I could go on, never again

Wish I’d found these reviews before I bought a package. Chester branch has closed over night, I’ve had one treatment and nobody will respond to my communications in Manchester regarding getting a refund. As I result I will be taking this matter to trading standards. To make matters worse the CEO is on Facebook drinking champagne on a yacht.

Genuinely never known worse customer services. I've been trying to get in touch for three months now and it's literally impossible. The music is put on a constant loop when you call up, telling you the reception is busy ... I've visited before and there's no reason for the reception to not be able to manage a few telephone calls. It seems very likely that the phone calls don't actually reach the aesthetic line at all. The looped recording then tells you to leave a message by pressing '1'- it then rings 3 times before going back to the music. No option to leave a message, despite the instruction to. It then reminds you that you can contact them via live chat on the website... HA. A robot response replies 'instantly', merely to tell you it cannot understand your very plain English, and that a member of the team will be online shortly to sort you out. Doesn't happen. It then says 'alternatively, click Talk To Human'... Again, no human ever arrives to speak to you.
A few weeks ago I did all of the above protocol before writing down an email with my specific concerns, queries and hopes of continuing my prepaid laser hair sessions soon... I've had no response at all. It's now been 5 months since my last laser appt and I was due one in January, had to cancel due to snowy weather disruptions, and haven't been able to get in touch since. I'm honestly disgusted. Especially when the answer machine brags about opening more and more salons nationwide.. they can't seem to manage expectations for one of its precious 'flagship' stores. I hate that the awful management of this salon has tarnished my otherwise very complimentary views of this salon as the girls who do the laser hair are lovely.
My only hope is that someone from the company sees this review and attempts to contact me as a result.

AVOID!!! Purchased a voucher on Groupon to laser hair removal - was informed on my skin test that I had to pay an extra mount of money directly to them, which I did. Day before my appointment they cancelled and said they'd call me to rebook... took 2 months of calls, FB messages, emails and Groupon attempting to get in contact for me to get a call saying I had to go to MANCHESTER for my app... Groupon have refunded me the original money but they are refusing to refund me the additional money. Never dealt with a company like it. Just look on all other websites for reviews!!

Terrible: rude and unprofessional. They cancelled my first appointment (Manchester branch) and asked me to re-arrange. I go in for the rearranged appointment and they looked perplexed, although they had confirmed the appointment on the same day! Clearly, they have no idea how to manage appointments. They then refused to offer service and even blamed me for being 5 minutes late - all with an attitude ! Any serious professional would have apologised and at least offered a discount on some product! At least I didn't get to pay them any money, as other reviewers did! Bottom line: avoid if you don't want to waste your time and can't take rudeness!

I signed up for pamper package for myself and my friend for their Chester branch. They took payment over the phone and i received treatment card. However since then i have made numerous attempts to contact them to make appointment by email (abbyw@,paaestheticsmcr@), telephone (0333 number, manchester branch who were no help, Abby's numbers), messenger and have not had a response. The fact that they have taken money and then not provided service then this is fraud. I attended at Chester store it was closed (poor hairdressers i think have had a few people attending and enquiring). I am reporting them to the police as this is fraud and i suggest everyone else who has had problems with them do the same. They should also be reported to Trading Standards as they are offering a service that they do not intend to give and taken money.
Also note that the only good reviews are from people in India, Pakistan and Germany - how far do they have to travel for treatments!

I’ve had yet another laser appointment cancelled today, The hairdressing salon is downstairs and Ashtetics are above, I paid for 6 treatments of laser hair removal for three areas, I had an appointment arranged for 1.15 so I decided to book my hair appointment for 12.45, as I have paid for a full years membership for hairdressing as well, I have prepared myself for this appointment and yet again!! It has been cancelled! My last appointment was cancelled also, When I asked Chelsea why has it been cancelled she said she doesn’t know and that I will need to pay for “them cancelling” I have already paid £235 up front!! I want a refund, I was told that I would be band from the shop! I have written to the head office for a refund today and weather I get a reply, I should really be asking for compensation as my hair has now grown more course as I was asked to shave the areas where the laser would be given, and both times I have and they have been cancelled... I am furious, it is supposed to be a lovely time planning to get married! This is stressful.. please can someone advise?

Do not give your money to this company. I purchased a laser hair package with them - they consistently cancelled some appointments and rearranged the times of others. When I complained I was treated with utter rudeness from the so called manager Shanice. I was then sent a text message barring me from their salons. I wouldn’t go near their salons again if I was paid to. I am now fighting to get my money returned. Avoid this company!!! The good reviews on here are clearly fake!!!

I had 2 hair removal appointments since then they have cancelled 3, they do not answer my phone calls, they do not respond to facebook messenger and when I went to the salon today it was closed (although it was within opening hours). I looked on Company House and the salon has not submitted it's accounts for last year so it has problems, big problems DO NOT waste your money.
