Terrible renting experience. We rented as 5 friends in a sharehome while we were all 19-20 years old and they took full advantage of the fact that we knew nothing about rental laws and our rights. The... See more

Great at finding fair solutions
Great service from Ann and the team. Is fair and reasonable when negotiating issues finding options that work for both tenant and landlord. Much more attentive and proactive than other property management companies.

The team at Rental Trends are the best…
The team at Rental Trends are the best I've dealt with. Always polite and helpful and nothing is ever a problem. They go above and beyond to look after us and our property and don't overcharge to do it. Can't recommend them enough!
Exceptional service and professionalism…
Exceptional service and professionalism in a time when these skills are critical for investors. Assessing and managing tenants is a very delicate balance and more than ever before requires talented professionals who have a successful sustainable practice, understand the VUCA market due to COVID and are exceptional at representing you and critically your significant asset, your property, in such uncertain times. As an investor I need a rental agent that is qualified, professional and proactive. I require competitive maintenance advice, hands on tenancy management and maintenance and more importantly the stability of knowing I have a trusted adviser. As investors sometimes we are caught between agents due to the sale and this can be beneficial or the reverse and that impacts our return on investment and time management. Outstanding tenancy agency management and staff.

I recently booked a property inspection…
I recently booked a property inspection with this company.
They failed to attend the inspection and failed to answer phone calls to the number specified on my inspection bookings.
I then called the office and did not receive much help.
In frustration I left a one star review on Google Reviews.
Several hours later the principal called me and apologised - she said she had to attend an emergency situation and had left her phone at the office. She stated that the booking system had not been checked properly and apologised.
I accepted the apology - no problems
However, today I have received not one but two responses from this mob on google reviews saying I am a liar and supporting someone else who is disgruntled with their service. The second response accuses me of vexatiousness. Really? No your disorganisation left me standing on the footpath for 45 minutes - I accepted your apology ... but now you want to call me a liar
I've had a look at their reviews - they believe in attacking anyone who dares leave a negative review.
Please don't call me a liar - and I have no axe to grind.
Worst experience
I too have far more many years in a service role as you claim you have, part of being in this industry is having tolerance, understanding and empathy for all the different types of people you may come across, unfortunately you missed the email. You are nothing but warthogs of the industry and think that every person needs to be spoken to like trash to get somewhere especially if it is not in your favour , I am guessing that’s your ‘ competitive’ side, who can be the worst and get away with it. My sister, who by the way suffers badly from mental illness ( can’t cope with aggression)went to return a key today and to finalise the bond was asked for a receipt for the cleaning, she didn’t have one as the cleaners did not issue them on the day, however did have a bank statement to show the payment, I will add that you do not have to employ a cleaner if you do it yourself, just checked that with my legal team, sorry guys you were out of line and you know it. Thanks to your revolting way of handling this situation I now have to deal with a very distressed and upset sister. You should be ashamed, you have no moral compass, no tolerance, unless you are to benefit, in 2020 I would of expected that you would of sharpened you service skills to cope with today’s ever changing clientele. Ask yourself, would you treat and talk to your own mother this way, there’s your guide.Ps no I am not a keyboard warrior as you like state in the replies to the other complaints, like that’s your catch phrase, we are more than happy to meet you in person.
THE WORST REALESTATE AGENTS EVER!!!
THE WORST REALESTATE AGENTS EVER!!!! yes we did vacate the property better than what it was when we moved in!! when we moved there were leaves and grime inside the house and years of road grime and bird poo on the outside we spent many weekends pressure washing the house. they put a claim in for the entire bond for a AAA battery left in the living room then wouldn't let us come back to pick it up...come on are you serious???. never once did any maintenance we asked to be done and when the toilet over flowed covering the down stairs with .. you know what they said we will get to it next week. terrible terrible people!! now we will wait for the usual reply from them saying how bad i am and attacking my character.
Worst ever!!!
Worst ever!!!! When I moved to the house the wood floor was full of scratches(I fill in a form about it)...they didn´t fix it and 1 year after they charged me 80$ for that. And they charged me $240 for gardener. "sand on the foothway", "remove dead palms" come on!!!!! you are disgusting
Worst Real Estate ever
Worst Real Estate ever - constantly overcharges and attempts to steal your bond at the end. After a long effort to go to QCAT (which we won) we eventually got the majority back.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Not a great realty at all
Hands down the worst real estate I've rented through.
Unprofessional in all aspects, won't respond to very necessary maintenance requests, and provides for a terrible tenant experience.
Good luck getting your bond back... even when you hand back the property in better order than you got it in!
Avoid, avoid, avoid!
Worst real estate ever
Worst real estate ever!
Claim your entire bond 2 weeks before end of your lease, refuse to agree on anything at dispute resolution. Enter property without notice, use bullying and scare tactics when you give them a bad review. This real estate should not be in business with their unethical practices and it’s only a matter of time before it all catches up with them. Read the 1 Star ratings they are the most accurate representation of Rental Trends. My mother died the day the dispute resolution called and I intended to go to QCat however due to being busy making funeral plans I contacted rta who tried to contact rental trends to come to a new agreement which they failed to do so they could keep all my bond. The current thing to do would be to take out the $857.50 they claimed for repairs and return to me the remaining money of $1222.50 which they decided would be nice in their own back pocket. This is a review forum I am entitled to post my review without being threatened. Now that I’ve lodged for compensation of my bond I’m lucky I have the form I sent you in an email with our forwarding address on it 😊
charges for services not in management agreement
charges for services that were expressly shown as not required in the agreement, duplicating the work, and then does not reimburse for the lost income.
RT breached the contract. RT cannot receive @tpg.com.au emails. Did not tell us. RT simply sent an email claiming no response. Responses were sent but no error messages received. Credibility? Contravened contract by ordering $500 of repairs. Did not even phone us. Duplicated the work. Fire inspection had already been carried out. Fire Services inspection missed an important issue, which is now fixed, anyway. RT claim to safety is false. Do not use their dangerously inadequate service. RT contravened contract & service was inadequate. Now waiting on a refund prior to possible recovery action. If only a "poultry" (sic should be paltry) amount then please refund.

Rental Trends Recommendation
I have no hesitation in recommending Rental Trends. Owner and all staff are friendly, polite, helpful and always willing to fulfill any requests for information regarding any repairs necessary for the upkeep of the property. Inspections are carried out regularly and a written report provided, outlining any repairs needed.
Financial statements are received at the end of each month with a full list of debits and credits whilst payments are made twice monthly to nominated accounts.
In all, I am very satisfied with all aspects of the service Rental Trends provides and feel they are one agency that maintains high standards in all things.
