I’m delighted with my order. It was half the price of the nearest product elsewhere and a much nicer feel than similar ropes in the chandlers. I’ll certainly be using again and recommending to fellow boat owners. Oh and the Customer Service was excellent too! Would give six stars if possible.

I paid £10 and got the rope excellently sealed on both sides, cut to perfect length to my door.

I had some ropes made by Ropelocker for an adult garden swing project I was doing. The advice and service I received was really exceptional. It was brilliant to have the option of WhatsApp communication and Natalie was able to advise on rope materials, diameters and layouts which was invaluable. She sent samples and her patience and care was outstanding. The product arrived promptly and was exactly as specified. Very happy with the service I received and I would highly recommend this company.

Outstanding service & performance:
I was recommended Ropelocker by Babbacombe Corinthians Sailing Club and it is easy to see why. From my first phone call I was met with a highly professional, friendly & interested service which left me in no doubt they could match my requirements. Onsite, Katie was superb. She helped me to problem-solve, meaning I walked out with perfect solutions. She generously applied years of yachting experience to help me not just with the purchasing the right stuff but also with an enhanced understanding of the application. The range of stock is extensive and all options are carefully explained. I have been back to Rope Locker since and they will be my No1 go-to for all of my rope, rigging & fitting needs.

Efficient, skilled, timely and, most importantly ALWAYS fit for purpose. They really know their products and that includes dyneema, pre stretched or otherwise. I have had various parts made for my newly built WYLO II gaff cutter and , with their advice I have superior whisker shrouds ( a combination of dyneema and hard eye splices) lengthwise, spot on. In addition , ropework various from the old traditional to marine grade stainless, all first rate. Communication is excellent, as is follow on customer service. As a former Royal Navy seaman of 17 years time done cannot commend them highly enough. And they are good value too!

Goods order 7/7/25, still waiting 21/7/25.
Called Ropelocker many times, still no delivery. Promises Owner would call me did NOT happen.
Told I must collect, I paid for Delivery, if I intervene I seller can blame me if goods damaged.
After many calls and promises to keep-me-on-the-hook I realise no service, asked for refund.

Overnight Ropelocker had replied to my Trustpilot review stating:
• one true response.
• many false claims in an attempt to mitigate their actions by creating a false impression of the reviewer.

Unfortunately, having has sight of Ropelocker reply earlier today I am now unable to find the Ropelocker reply, hence this Update is based on memory of what I saw earlier…

Ropelocker True response:
• Ropelocker stated they had issued a Refund within 1 hour of my request.

In Response:
Thank you Ropelocker, I gratefully accept the refund; however, the response announcing the refund is not quite correct in that Ropelocker did not issue the refund within 1 hour of my request, rather, Ropelocker issued the refund within 1 hour of receiving my original review posted on Trustpilot.

Ropelocker false responses:
Example 1
Ropelocker claim they informed me Royal Mail Parcels were unable to deliver my consignment due to incomplete address details provided.

In response:
• I have only one address.
• The location is very remote having few properties under the Post Code.
• Full address details were provided at time of placing order.
• Payment was authenticated in so doing confirming delivery address details (PayPal).
• Royal Mail Parcels had delivered other parcels to my delivery address over the period of discussions with Ropelocker regarding non-delivery, some parcels delivered on same day as reported non-delivery of Ropelocker consignment.
• I had attempted to discuss with Royal Mail delivery operative who declined to discuss the matter.
• Full history updated to Ropelocker as matters unfolded.

Example 2
At end of Ropelocker reply, Ropelocker added new comment about not accepting abuse over the telephone.

In Response:
I, also, do not welcome abuse over the telephone or via any other means, particularly false claims which is why I follow training provided to me in my role as a volunteer leader (instructor) in the world of children’s activities.

I remind Ropelocker that respect works two-ways, the customer gives respect to receive respect; an attempt to later mislead others by false claim can only serve to damage Ropelocker reputation.

Can not recommend this company enough. Service was excellent and the rope for our decking was of the highest quality. We needed advice before ordering and phoned and spoke to Katy who was so helpful as we needed 24 meters and did not want to make a mistake. With her advice we got the order exactly right and are so pleased with the results. So pleased after a lot of research we went with Rope Locker.

Perfect customer service. I received a phone call to check an order that didn’t seem correct. It wasn’t, I had messed it up. The customer services member spent a lot of time helping me sort out the issue and correcting the order. Dispatched same day - perfect.

Placed an order at midday and package arrived the following day. Excellent quality rope at a very competitive price.

Great Service everything exactly as expected.

Really good quality rope and really fast delivery. I've baught rope from many different places and I'm now replacing it with Rope lockers rope. Tightly wound and fresh smell with no chemicals. Really good for our pet parrots, cats and other animals and I've made rugs. Thank you

Ordered the mooring ropes on Sunday, made to my specification and despatched on Monday, arrived on Tuesday. Cant ask for a better service than that. The ropes look pretty good too and looking forward to replace my existing ones.
