So Called free EV Charger
Firstly I should like to explain that I Have purchased five new cars from Sinclair Swansea and never had a problem with the sales or the salesperson. I received my new car today and the service I received was exceptional, informative, and helpful. My only issue was my dealings with OHME, or their subcontractors which I can only say as misleading regarding the offer of installation of an EV charger. I believe that Audi and OHME should make it clear what the offer involves. If the offer is a package for an installation of an EV charger with a standard installation which would be with out additional cost. Then the customer would receive as told in the Audi offer a free EV Charger and free installation. However, if there is additional cost involved and the quotation given is unacceptable then OHME will request to cancel the order. That means when OHME sends the EV charger by post prior to the survey to the installation address. Then if there is additional cost involved the surveying engineer will retrieve the EV charger due to the possibility of rejecting the quotation later. That means from my perspective that I am not receiving a free EV charger if there is not a standard fitting. Therefore, what I am being offered by Audi is a package to supply and install an EV charger with most installations the possibility of paying additional cost for equipment and installation. If I question the quotation then there is no offer, no free EV charger. For example what is the total cost of an EV Charger and Standard Installation provided by the Audi offer. Therefore, if there is additional cost involved the quotation should indicate the standard fitting amount of Audi’s offer. Then add any additional cost for equipment above the standard offer amount. If this was clear then customer could understand the quotation better. However, if Audi want to make their offer fair for ever customer their offer should have a choice to be able to receive a free charger and its standard installation. If the quotation involves additional cost and it is unacceptable then provide the offer of receiving an free EV charger whereby the customer can arrange an installation with a registered installer with a more competitive cost. That would avoid the customer losing out on a free EV charger if he rejects the quotation. There would be no additional cost to Audi or OHME as there would be no sub-contractor pre installation survey.

Tim looked after us from the very beginning, his professionalism, and knowledge of the vehicle were second to none. We booked an appointment with Tim, and when we turned up the following day he had a car there waiting that he knew would suit our budget and needs being a busy family of four. Can’t thank Tim and the team enough for the service and care. Safe to say we will not go anywhere else for a new car in the future.

First time buying a used car from a main dealer, and it was a really pleasant experience from start to finish. From the initial phone call to arrange a test drive right through to driving away in the car, everything was handled smoothly and professionally.
Ffion, the sales representative, was absolutely brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble for her—she took the time to explain all the technology in the car, including how to connect my phone, and answered all my questions thoroughly and clearly. Her friendly and helpful approach really made a difference.
The receptionist was also very welcoming, friendly, and polite, which added to the overall positive experience.
