Rich really went above and beyond for me. He was a delight to work with and he recently updated his practices to be very eco-friendly, which I really love. His shipping is carbon-neutral, he uses tape made from recycled plastic, and much more. He's really doing a lot for this planet that we live on. The suit that I got was beautifully made. Classic but modern. Perfect for just about any occasion. I'm excited to wear it for my wedding. Thanks, Rich!

I ordered a made-to-measure suit from them and it turned out perfect! True to the measurements I provided, and the fabric is very nice. I also own a tweed suit from Walker Slater (Scotland) and while they're both very high quality, I prefer the British Tweed Co fabric. Rich was very nice and made every effort to get the suit to me quickly, and it arrived a week ahead of time.

I'd say I have no idea why there are a few scathing reviews here, but then I've seen how people act at McDonald's and Walmart, so I'm not too surprised.

Nothing Less than true excellence. I ordered 7 suits made to order and each fits perfectly. The shipping across the world literally was completed with excellence! There was an open line of communication through the entire ordering process Rich shows great professional curtsy and care. 10/10

Bought one of the Made to Order Rainbow Jackets for a wedding coming up next month. The colours are exactly like in the photos and it feels really well made.I got my partner to help with measuring me and the gifs on the how to measure yourself page explained it really well. Love the jacket, and it looks great.

Great service, the suit fits perfectly and looks amazing. Rich made sure my suit was delivered in time and even chased down couriers to ensure a timely delivery. Will definitely be using again. Highly recommend.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! It’s not often I feel the need to post a review but my experience of this company has been truly awful, hence I feel obliged to urge potential customers to look elsewhere . Firstly, the waistcoats I ordered for my wedding took 7 weeks to arrive. Once they did arrive, two of the waistcoats were not made to the requested size. I contacted the company who told me to take photos of the garments showing the size issue with a tape measure which I did. I was unable to speak to anybody over the phone because all I got was a recorded message so email was the only form of contact. When I had sent the photos my subsequent emails were ignored and I have still had no explanation as to why they did not offer to rectify the errors. In the end I took the time waistcoats to an alterations company and I paid to sort the problem myself.

I couldn’t recommend these guys enough! We ordered one three piece suit for our wedding and six waistcoats and they all arrived and fitted perfectly!!! Not only that, they are completely unique and stunning! I feel some of the more negative reviews on here are a little unfair....people must remember that these are bespoke, made to measure items. You aren’t purchasing from the high street and therefore you must ensure that you know how to take measurements correctly. If you don’t know or are unsure then ask someone with more experience to help you. There is no room for error when measuring, these items are made exact to the measurements you provide. I couldn’t fault all seven of our items...! Very happy customers!

I ordered 5 of the custom suits for my wedding party. Throughout the entire process, Becca and the entire That British Tweed Company has provided excellent customer service and a phenomenal final product. Our suits fit fantastically well and look exactly as advertised on the website. Shipping was fast and simple.

I reached out to them prior to placing the order to ask for fabric samples, and received the samples within a week, which enabled me to ensure the color and pattern would work for us. Quality product and customer service make this a company I would happily work with again.

I can only assume that some people have been very lucky. My experiences closely echo those of some other 1 star reviewers, both here and on their Facebook page.

I have an ongoing Paypal dispute and, subject to the outcome of that, I will be commencing proceedings so shall keep this general. I ordered a suit in the same standard sizes (not made to measure) that I have worn for 30 years without any issues. I was sent a suit that was not of acceptable quality in terms of its construction/appearance and the jacket is considerably oversized (I have photographically evidenced all of this). The company refuses to accept the legitimate complaints despite the evidence and will not issue a refund. In fact, they refuse to provide a returns label or even tell me what the return address is so that I can send their suit back to them. I'd send it to the address registered for them at Companies House but, from research on Google/street view, that actually seems to be a community centre...make of that what you will.

Buyers beware! Avoid this company like the plague and do yourselves a favour; go buy a suit in a high street store or from an established bricks and mortar tailor (which is exactly what I had to do after this fiasco and what I wish I'd done in the first place). Yes, you may have to hand over a few extra £s but you will pay more in the long run by taking a chance with this company.

I’ve never ordered a custom suit online before, so I was a bit nervous as I submitted my order. All concerns were gone once my suit arrived and I tried it on. It fit perfectly! I’m looking forward to ordering from them again soon! Thanks, again, for being such a special part of my wedding day.

Having struggled to find a women's suit that actually fitted right all over, I decided to get a made to measure suit from That British Tweed Company. It's an investment I'd highly recommend! The trousers, waistcoat and jacket all fit wonderfully, the lining is nice and soft, and I'm really pleased with the quality of the fabric (I went for blue herringbone). The good fit makes it much comfier than a store-bought standard suit, so I'll be getting plenty of wear out of it!

It was awesome that this company was willing to make me a ladies suit as a bit of an experiment and it turned out great! It’s almost impossible to find a made to measure suit for women. The fabric is really soft and comfortable, and its incredibly versatile. I’ve worn it to conferences and also more casually. I would definitely order again, and have already recommended to my friends!

If I could give a MINUS STAR, I would gladly do so. BE WARNED, …. do not deal with this company unless you want problems, inferior quality merchandise, non replies to complaints and wrong size sent to you. I WILL NEVER deal with this company again !!!!

Order Number: 33776. i ordered a waste coat for my wedding on 1st March, paid for priority delivery which says 14 days. Now 5 days after the expected delivery date still nothing.
Rang the number on the website a few times, the receptionist says send an email there is no one available. Sent an email no response, advised the receptionist of this and she sticks to the same line of "sorry i cant do anything" so i asked when i can expect to hear back as i need the delivery for Thursday 21st March which is when the wedding is, her response, "sorry i cant do anything" Sent an email on 8th march to ask for an expected delivery date and they thought i wanted to place another order and then they replied. When they realised i dont want to make another order they stopped replying.
DO NOT USE THIS GARBAGE OFF A COMPANY and now that I have read the other reviews it was my fault for using such a cowboy company

I requested a waistcoat from this company, and was able to send off the necessary measurements for the garment to be taylored. Becca was pleasant & always responded quickly. My waistcoat arrived in the time frame they had estimated and the quality and fit was just what I had hoped for. I will be looking to purchase from them again and would recommend others to look at their offerings.

This was truly a wonderful experience for me. In the last fifty years I have bought perhaps three or four full suits. The material is beautiful, the seams and sewing are excellent. The size and fit were as good as custom made to fit. Customer service is the best I have experienced with any on-line company. I bought the dark brown tweed but I may wish to add a black later on. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY! We ordered three made to measure suits from this company for our wedding party. They were a terrible fit despite following all the intructions. We tried to contact the company over a number of months via email and their fake call centre. We also tweeted and facebooked them but they simply deleted our requests for help. Other disgruntled customers have reached out to us also unable to contact the company. Really disappointed. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I was very impressed by a suit that had been bought on line by a friend of mine so I googled “made to measure tweed suits” and found The British Tweed Company via Etsy. I am delighted with the suit that has been made for me so thank you very much Rich and all the team.. Alan Dawson
