Scammers avoid! Bought a Tojiro dp3 knife and they sent an email saying it was sent but no tracking code then and then an email saying it was refunded but money not received! Now I have no money and no knife!

Absolutely no communication
Ordered a knife on 06/07 and received an email on 11/07 saying that the order is on its way. The link provided, prompts you to download the shop app to track order. On the app it shows that the status of the order is still 'preparing shipment'. Sent multiple emails and no reply at all. As of 23/07 still nothing. Truly awful experience. I understand that its closing down soon, but zero professionalism. Please Avoid.

Never recieved my item
Never recieved my item, it’s been a year now of back and forth with the company who now don’t even respond to my emails. Originally it was brought by my brother for my birthday present and shipped to him. Unfortunately we had a family member pass away and another be hospitalised suddenly following an accident so my brother was not home. He unfortunately missed the attempted delivery and didn’t realise. After realising his mistake he emailing explaining and they were very understanding, saying they would re ship. They never did though and after trying to personally follow up I still haven’t got my knife. Shame as I was recommended this company and was planning to eventually buy the set :(

Made two separate orders from sharp chef a few months apart at the start of the year both times was sent incorrect products
The first time I mistakingly let it slide as the mixup resulted in me receiving a knife I was intending to order later on anyway
The second time however I was sent an entirely different model and when I reached out to have a replacement sent the seller initially agreed to send the correct item but once the wrong order was returned I was just issued a refund and the subsequent attempt at communication to get the correct order sent was just ignored
It would seem they are just incapable of correctly fulfilling an order and are unwilling to communicate and correct issues after the fact

After reading reviews I was certain it’s a scam but instead I received nothing else than a professional service. Will purchase again definitely. Thank you!

I made an order and never got it
I made an order over 2 weeks ago, was told it had been dispatched 2 days later, RM said they have never received the package, I have sent multiple emails to them and they have never responded, no refund, no contact, awful experience.

I bought a knife and after a short while, it broke. After talking to S-C, they told me they'd issue a refund. I asked when, and there was no response for weeks! (Excellent customer service). I emailed again and no response. I then leave comments on their Instagram page and eventually someone got back to me. They told me I'd get a refund that day, otherwise it'll be a few weeks as they're going on holidays. (Great timing). A few weeks pass and still I receive nothing. I send more emails and I get the usual nonsense again. I'd need to check the exact date but it was about 6 months after I got my refund. Throughout this time I politely said it's very difficult to contact them and all they said was that they were a family run business. They couldn't care less. No sympathy or empathy for their customers. I wouldn't recommend.
Do not recommend
Bought a £165 knife, I had a date to leave the uk (it was 4 weeks and delivery was supposed to be one week).
Knife never arrived, I was told the knife was gonna be delivered to my new address. Knife never arrived and was told I was gonna get a refund. I never got a refund.
Every time I needed an answer I have to chase someone. Looks like I will end up with no refund and no knife. I do not recommend this business, very poor customer service.

I’ve been also told a week ago that my refund was issued. Unfortunately was the way I found to get someone’s attention because I already send two other emails after with no response. Once the money is back in my account I’ll delete the comment.

Great customer service and an honest company
Unfortunately, like many other reviews mentioned, my order (placed on February 17th) was lost in transit, but Chris was very quick to respond and amend the situation by offering a replacement when available.
However, some of my items had to be refunded which is when the issue started. After a few months of the refund not reaching my account I contacted Chris, and he explained that it was processed on his end so it must have been an issue with the bank.
In the end, I was given a refund along with a complimentary item which resolved the issue.
Though I’m not sure if I would buy from the sharp chef again, I must say that this is an honest company which values customer service greatly and Chris will do everything he can to compensate you if something goes wrong with your order.
Lack of refund…..
Placed an order for a knife, for a 21st birthday, which didn’t arrive. Only when I emailed did i find out about the problem with Royal Mail and the shipping of knives. Although I have received an apology, I’m still awaiting a refund. I hope my £80 is returned in the next few days as it was promised up to 10 days from the 21st March and now it’s the 4th April,

You generally only find out what sort of company you're dealing with when something goes wrong. My order went missing in the post and Chris replied to me in about 20 minutes and had a replacement in my hands in less than 24 hours. Good product, fair price, and great service.
