NO REFUND- how can they still be…

NO REFUND- how can they still be holding our money with no event!!! we pay a company to be able to go ahead with an event, with no event it is our money you are holding onto- I will go to the Financial Ombudsman if i do not hear back or get my refund quick, we have waited long enough...its not on!

DISGUSTING

DISGUSTING! Myself, along with my friends have all been awaiting a refund since the beginning of lockdown! They’re holding onto our money and not giving any further information. I can’t find a customer service contact number or email anywhere and I’m getting no response on social media. We’ve all been robbed!

Absolutely shocking

Absolutely shocking. They are a disgrace to the industry. 5 months I have been waiting for a refund now yet constantly get marketing emails advertising new events and how they are ‘sold out’. Level of customer Service with this company is shocking, constantly ignoring emails and social media messages. Just disgusting, Weare ruining the events scene this year, not the pandemic.

Awaiting Refund

Awaiting Refund! Uncontactable company! What is going on with our refunds?

I received an email from a no reply address trying to sell me more tickets today with a note at the bottom saying if you don't want this your refund will be processed according to our previous email.... the one I never received and you never sent. Uncontactable and keep everyone in the dark.

From reading responses on here I can see others have the same experience. They are money grabbers and have no care for the scene or their audience, just go to one of their events and you will feel that. I made that mistake once.

If you want to support the scene, don't support We Are FSTVL because they are here for one reason - money.

Still waiting for a refund on my ticket…

Still waiting for a refund on my ticket for the cancelled 2020 event. Impossible to get in touch with them for information and little to no communication about when/if the money will be returned. Instead just lots of adverts for new events, perhaps they should pay the people back first before concentrating on new ventures.

NO REFUND SYSTEM!

Due to Covid they said they would postpone the festival to september, so at the time I didn't ask for a refund. Apparently they gave a 7 day period to get a refund during august, without even mentioning the fact that it would be postponed to may 2021. I want to support the industry but the way they do things is disgusting, bunch of money grabbing b*stards tbh.

Still no refund!!!!

Been trying for months to get a refund for the we are festival may 2020 event.

They do not respond to the emails I send and ice filled out the form they emailed me countless times. What is going on I can't attend the new dates and want my money back.

Refund - Covid

Haven’t had an issue before but after emailing a few times and getting no responses I thought I would try the Facebook page and got a response the next day. Requested a refund a while ago now but like everything have be advised now that it can take up to 45 days. Least I know it will be returned and to expect it at some point!

Terrible company

Terrible company, how they have been able to get away without refunding the entire festival for so long is a joke, no communication and then an email appears that you have a week to apply for a refund. Applied and yet to hear anything further, not holding my breath as is has been a total sham so far. I think they may have lost sight of the fact that the customers they are F’ing over this year are their future customers too. They’re losing a lot of respect right now.

Absolutely extortionate booking fees!!

Having bought 8 XCLV tier tickets costing £275 each, I was disappointed to see the May dates canceled due to COVID19. On receiving the refund I noticed that the refund amount was almost £300 short. Despite the T&C's stating that the booking fee was not refundable should the event be cancelled, I was more angry that they could charge an extra £40 per ticket as a booking fee to reflect the admin costs associated with booking the tickets. I don't know how much the staff get paid, but I doubt it took 2 staff a full day to administer my tickets for the £300 booking charge. This is undoubtedly the most extortionate booking fee I've ever seen, let alone paid. Was ok about paying it given my enthusiasm for the event itself but as the event was rescheduled (and likely to be cancelled again), £300 paid for not a lot is criminal. WeAreFSTVL have lost out on my repeat business now which is likely to cost them significantly more than £300 - which does provide some satisfaction.

Huge Mistake

In the light of the World Pandemic and all issues deriving from it the dates for the Festival in May 2020 were cancelled. After a long waiting (about a month) i was given first an option to keep my tickets for the re-scheduled dates this year, which i can't do as i am currently pregnant. Next i was offered to keep vouchers or so for tickets for next year, which again was not an option for me just a month or two after i will be having a kid. So finally i was given the option to fill a file where i stated i would like a refund, and i had to contact in another 2 weeks We are FTSVL to check the refund progress. I was told once again (as many other times) that i need to be patient, as they are working under reduced staff amount, and that they can't engage with a date for the supposed refund. Approximately month later i wrote to them again, stating that this is not acceptable and despite my understanding of the complicated and slow conditions under which they are working, at least they should confirm a date by which i should receive my money back, but i receive NO ANSWER! i received NONE to my next email either and of course i received no money!
So all i would ask the organizers who are holding my money for an event/service they didn't provide me with - IS THAT THE WAY YOU ARE MAKING MONEY? AND WHERE IS MY FAULT THAT I'VE GOT PREGNANT AND I CAN'T ATTEND THE NEXT EVENT THAT YOU WOULD CHOSE TO ROB ME OF THIS MONEY?
SO SAD!!!

Worst experience I've ever had

I am convinced that the below positive reviews are paid for my We Are. It's the worst festival I've ever attended - so poorly organised and dangerous. I was promised a refund by the management of the festival as I left injured (after months and months of emailing them) - they promised this in July and I still haven't had it through yet and no one has replied to my last 9 (!) emails. Please, please don't waste your money. It is fyre festival except in the stampede I never got a wristband and so could not even purchase the cheese sandwich.
