These boxes may seem expensive at first, but given the amount of pods I use they are great way to stop these going into the general rubbish. Knowing they are going to be fully recycled makes it very worthwhile. This is my second box and the process to return full ones is very straightforward. Definitely recommend

Storage media zero waste box arrived promptly a few days after ordering. Had all my videos ready to pack and arranged for collection. Slight problem occurred with UPS as I had booked the collection by telephone and a mistake was made with my address which meant I spent two days waiting for them to arrive. Should’ve booked online. Apart from that I am very pleased with the service.

I usually use a Plastic packaging recycle box, but intermittently order an All-in-one box. This means that I can recycle an array of different categories of things that can’t go in kerbside recycling bins.

The drawback is the price - even more expensive than the other boxes!

This is such a good idea for disposing of all plastic wrapping. The box holds so much - you can just keep pushing more in.

This service worked well; website easy, boxes arrive, collection via courier included and easy to arrange - recycling of tricky items done (in this case lots of VCR tapes and similar) - but it's a VERY expensive way of doing right by the planet (but in this case there was no alternative).

The box arrived at the time promised, and is easy to put together. It will take me some time to fill it, so I do not know yet how easy I shall find it to return it. Still struggling to understand exactly which packaging I can put into the box. I am very ignorant about the different plastics!

Amazing initiative TerraCycle. So good to be able to dispose of waste safely that otherwise can not be recycled locally or via council. We ordered two new boxes and they came in a massive black plastic bag that will end up going into one of the boxes. I would like to see these boxes sent without packaging.

I recently bought a small All-In-One Zero Waste box.

These boxes are really neat in that they provide an option for recycling a number of different kinds of items which I'd simply have had to bin otherwise. I used it to dispose of old vhs and cassette tapes, for instance, which I know would've had little or no saleability anymore.

My only gripe would be the price of these boxes. If this is what it costs to provide this service, then I understand that nothing much can be done about that and I'd rather have the service as it is than none at all.

But I can see why many people would choose not to buy one of these and just bin things instead.

I love the fact that I can order a box to take away all my plastic waste but what a lot of money! I think the cost of this will deter many people who would like to recycle. Even sharing a box you have to be a very dedicated and relatively well off person to be able to afford it.

The box arrives quickly and is really easy to use and to send back. A great way to recycle more.

Brilliant idea - what a great way to responsibly clear out drawers without feeling horrified by where the pens or dvds or soft plastic etc etc will go.

The boxes are an excellent product to help with recycling the many things which we can't ordinarily recycle. They are easy to order & drop off to be returned.

To order is easy, to pay is easy, the boxes came the next day, brilliant. But to encourage more people to recycle their products from home the cost has to be looked at as I will only buy when there is an offer of buy one get one half price. The website needs to be updated after each new recycling scheme commences so we can check easily if a product can or can not be recycled through the all in one box

Great to feel I can recycle all those other bits the Council won't collect!

I opted for an All-in-One box as the simplest way of dealing with different packaging from a small number of products that I regularly buy. I am doing my best to buy much more thoughtfully but there are a few things I can't find good packaging solutions for (e.g. soya milk tops and cat food bags). The best thing is that the box has made me really focus hard on what I am actually buying and look for ways of doing better all the time. It makes me notice my rubbish in a very detailed way and appreciate and support companies that are working in the direction of a zero-waste or cyclical system.

I am so grateful for Terracycle's work educating consumers and companies and facilitating good practice at an individual level. It is hard to be a pioneer but they are an inspiration.

I'm sure others will find the cost of a box off-putting and I hesitated. But I think about the hidden costs and huge damage done to the environment by mainstream behaviour. The commercial focus on packaging as a marketing tool has prevailed for far too long. I feel I'm opting for a new trend and helping to build it.

There have been no problems with the box and service itself. I think the description of the service on the website could be clearer as it took me a few goes to know which box I should go for. Perhaps the choices could be simpler?

Bought the large zero waste plastics box for a household of two. We only use it for plastic which can't be recycled kerbside and it's certainly going to last a long time. Was hesitant to buy due to the up front cost but spread across its lifespan its a reasonable investment in order to do something good for the planet. Would definitely recommend.
