This is the first time I am buying…
This is the first time I am buying directly from you guys. The checkout process was simple and easy. The delivery came on time. I had already purchased this bag before and that's why I decided to buy another one. Its quality and durability are excellent. I hope you guys can continue delivering high-quality products as always.

Same recuring issue; tears appart on the underside..
If the Millican bags look very nice and are well waterproof I'm afraid they all seem to have the same issue after a few years :
The underside tears appart close to the stiching that links to the back; making the bag conpletely unusable I'm afraid.
Now Millican has given up, then has now been taken over but apparently the new owners are breaking the whole soul and purpose of the brand and won't respect the "lifetime warranty".
My wife's bag lasted 5 years, mine is giving up after 4 and a friend's one is giving up after 5 years too..
Very sad and disappointing, I wouldn't recommand to anyone to buy one of this, it's a waste of "recycled" material, time and money..

Awful experience with Millican
Awful experience with Millican. I made a pre-order for a rucksack in Nov 2021, they advised that it would arrive in Feb 2022 however it did not arrive until Jul 2022. Once I tried the rucksack on I found it was too big for my frame so contacted millican via their online message service to make a return. They do not have any way of creating a return label on their website so I was reliant on a member of their customer service team to provide the returns label for me. I messaged them every couple of weeks with the return request and it took them until Feb 2023 to provide me with a returns address. By this point they said they would not accept my return as it was outside of the returns period, however they had previously confirmed back in Jul 2022 when I received the item and initially made the return request, that they would still refund me if the rucksack was returned outside of the returns period, as they agreed that it was their fault that they had taken so long to get me the returns label/address. Since finally providing me with the returns address (8 months later!!) they have now said they will not refund me even if I return the item to them. I am so disappointed as this was supposed to be an investment in a piece of kit that would last me a lifetime. Appalling customer service! I would never buy from here again.
DO NOT BUY THESE BAGS
DO NOT BUY THESE BAGS. Honestly the quality is awful, and the company is incompetent. I ordered a bag from them for the sole reason of it being waterproof, as it said it was in the description. The bag was not actually delivered to me as they use Evri, a notoriously bad delivery service, and it wasn’t till I managed to get hold of Millican that they noticed, and two weeks later the bag finally arrived as it should have. The bag was okay. Nothing to write home about. But when it rained the inside got soaked. So I decided I had to return it as I had not got what I ordered. IT TOOK A MONTH! Of painful painful correspondence via their awful website. In the end I managed to return it to them, they promised me they’d pay me a full refund plus postage, I supplied proof of postage, they agreed. But a surprise to no one they forgot to send it along with the refund. I never chased it up as dealing with this company is the worst thing I’ve ever tried to do. You can’t ring, you can’t email.
Would be zero if possible
Would be zero if possible. Didn't even get as far as ordering as queried an offer that had bulk of saving removed by delivery charge. They are typical 'fluff' business online. Promote all of the 'buttons' to be perceived as local, ethical, green etc etc but hide behind technology from the get go. Very poor attitude and has feel of being 'found out' when you engage with the chat bot. VERY SHODDY SERVICE!
Returns policy is a mess.
I will not be using this company again. Their website says UK returns are free. This is not accurate. I printed off the return label for my order and took it to the post office, only then to discover the label is not prepaid. I contacted Millican customer services and was advised they do not have prepaid labels ‘at this time’. They advised me to pay for the return postage myself and then claim it back. After contacting Millican and providing evidence of the return postage cost, I only received a partial refund for the return postage. I have queried this with them and despite their promises to pay the difference, nothing was done and now they want my PayPal details instead. Do not use this company if you think there is a chance you might want to return something, i.e. because the item is unsuitable or you’ve changed your mind etc, as Millican will not refund the original delivery cost and it’s a palaver getting your return postage refunded.
Most unacceptable refund experience
Everything was OK, until I decided to return the item. The most unsatisfactory experience of purchasing online. First of all, the return label l was emailed was not sufficient for the courier drop off as it did not contain a barcode that could be scanned. I contacted millican and was advised to post the item and that l would be refunded the postage. Postage charges for returning the item were refunded. It took them 3 weeks to refund the cost of item as apparently the accounts dept was confused about the postage cost refund. Despite several live chats (you cannot call the company) l was assured that I would be refunded full amount of cost of item, yet they only credited £40 out of £45 as they were to refund post charge to my PayPal account. It did not make sense as I paid by credit card. And now today, after 3 weeks they are stating that l will not be refunded post charges for returning the item. Beyond a joke! Don't ever buy if there is a chance you might have to return.
Zero stars should be an option
Zero stars should be an option, do not honour returns, still waiting for refund, has been promised on 2 occasions, DO NOT USE
Withheld my refund for over a month!!
Withheld my refund for over a month!!
Do not buy from Millican, I wish I'd have read the reviews on here before purchasing. I bought a rucksack as a Christmas gift, it wasn't suitable so I returned it. I was notified they received the return but the refund never arrived. I've chased the Customer Service team 7 times, every time I'm told it will be resolved immediately, and every time I have to contact them again. It's now been over a month since they received my return and I've been left with no choice but to open a Paypal case against them to try and get my refund. Their products aren't cheap and to withhold a refund for no reason during times when money is already tight for most people is just disgusting.
Don’t use this company!
Bought a backpack and returned it- throughout, my experience has been poor - the item was returned almost two weeks ago and they claim that their returns dept hasn’t received it yet - when it was delivered the company they use dumped it over my garden fence and did not tell
Me where it was so it sat in the rain for 24hrs- I hate this company and hope they go bust as I think the product is good but they do not treat customers well and were almost trying to imply that the item would be damaged so wouldn’t be returnable -it wasn’t damaged but Millican you are responsible for the delivery company’s you use not the customer !!!
No costumer service, no guarantee
I can't even call the Costumer Service bad, it just doesn't seem to exist. So the guarantee/warranty on Millican products is worth absolutely nothing. Only get automatic messages that feedback could take up to 7 working days. I have never received more.
On my roll top backpack, the fabric is porous on the edges and bottom, the zipper on the laptop compartment is broken. Zippers are an issue in itself, but the material should in any case not become porous after a few years. I can only advise against Millican, even if the backpacks look nice.
Absolutely the worst customer service…
Absolutely the worst customer service experience I have experienced for a long time. Rucksack took ten months to arrive due to supplier delays. Arrived with no returns paperwork so we sent back to address on label. The only way to contact Millican customer service is through some terrible messaging centre on their website - really clunky and hard to use. They claim to have lost all track of my order since changing systems and have acted as though I am lying that there was ever an order. I've been asked for the same details on repeat occasions, and have had to upload copies of the email correspondence with them about the delays as well as the Post Office receipt. I still don't have a refund in my bank account. No way of contacting anyone by email or phone. Really shocking service with what was supposed to be a 'premium' product. Never again.
Really poor customer service.
Really poor customer service.
I really liked Millican as a brand but feel the quality has gone downhill since being brought out by TheHut. The Cutomer service is terrible, I received an order that was completely different to the web image and they were unable to cover the return costs or provide a return label!
Been on a one month holiday to Far East…
Been on a one month holiday to Far East . Took my Millican 15L bag with me. First time I put the bag into real test and it really failed badly. The design is not suitable for travel. So difficult to access the items that I stored. A 15£ rucksack would do much better job. I am deeply regretting the purchase
Millican - really bad customer service and don't fulfil promise to repair
I bought my Millican bag just before another corona lockdown. When restrictions were lifted, I notice that my bag has issues with its straps. The straps 'glide' with every moment, making the bag gets longer and longer as I move about which is not ideal.
Contacted their customer support 2,5 months ago and they promised a repair. They asked me to wait a bit, which I happily did because generally I was happy with the quality of the bag. Then after a month I contacted back, and from then on was just a Kafkasque experience; just back and forth emailing with no solution/ coordination for repair. The issue is not resolved and after 2,5 months getting frustrated with it I have decided to give up contacting them. What a terrible and poor customer service. They don't fulfil their promises, especially their guaranteed bag for life section. I will never purchase their product ever again.
Millican: Be honest and Improve your communication!
I ordered a rucksack end of february and finally got it on july 22. - The delays had been reported monthly by millican and I had accepted them. At the end of June, however, I had ultimately insisted on compliance with the promise that the backpack will be shipped on 1st of July, otherwise I would withdraw from the contract. The appointment was confirmed by millican, but after that I didn't hear and get anything, so I informed paypal. On the 22nd July the backpack arrived after all.
Apparently their products are great, but worry about how they run their business!
Apparently their products are great, but their products have been out of stock for months (since August 2021). They kindly told people when it was going to back in stock (October 2021), but on the 25th of October changed that to January 2022.
What company doesn't know there is going to be a 2-3 month delay in stock until 5 days before the due day. Don't trust their website to give reliable information.
That'll get you 3-stars!
I'm off to buy from another brand.
Absolutely brilliant…
Absolutely brilliant service, communication, super fast delivery, and top notch products.would highly recommend. Well done Millican,if only all online sales were as hassle free as this.👍
