Be careful, company is showing as insolvent.
Made an enquiry in December and was updated that the company was no longer trading. Fast forward a couple of months and I received an email from them asking to apply for a loan, I thought this was a bit suspicious especially with all the phising emails you get, so looked the personal finance centre up on companies house and they are showing as insolvent. All sounds very suspicious so won't be making any loan application with them as it looks very suspicious as first thought.

Within the last month you have submitted 2 libellous reviews about my business. I will clarify a few points below, but if you have any other questions or are unhappy about something, then please get in touch with me so that we can discuss the problem.
The Personal Finance Centre was acquired by Key Loans and Mortgages around December time.
Key Loans and Mortgages is a family business that has been involved in the finance industry for over 30 years. My Father started providing secured loans and mortgages in the 1990s, trading as a sole trader for over 15 years then changing to a limited company 16 years ago.
It is quite usual for members of staff to remain when ownership changes. This is especially so when working in a specialist industry where the recruitment of excellent financial advisors is very difficult. The highly regarded and experienced term, that were already well established at the Personal Finance Centre, was the main attraction to Key Loans and Mortgages and why we were keen to acquire them.
Simply, we acquired this business. The previous company that owned it, their structure and what has become of them is of no concern to us.
The Trustpilot account is part of the business we acquired, and since the same excellent team that earned those reviews is still in place, we don’t feel that there is any need to start a new account. The reviews, not yours, that customers took the time to post, are a fair reflection of the service that we provide.
I don’t understand your comment about the same people being registered with the new and old company? This is also very clear to see on Companies House, as neither myself, or any member of my family, have ever had any previous interest in The Personal Finance Centre. Furthermore, only my immediate family members, all with the same surname as myself, have ever been directors or shareholders of Key Loans and Mortgages. The current company setup has even been in place without any changes at all since 2018!
I can only assume that you may be confused with the FCA register. As a company that is authorised and regulated by the FCA, we are required to register our qualified advisors with them, something we have complied with, so these members of the team will be showing under our registration now, as they work for us.
Hopefully this grudge can be now be forgotten, life is too short!

Amazing service and advice
We were recommended TPFC after a bad experience with another company. Donna and Gareth took on our case after I explained what had happened and they did everything they could to provide the best advice and service to make sure we got to where we needed to with our mortgage. They were amazing and managed to get everything done in just 3 weeks. Would highly recommend them!!!

Friendly and professional service
We received a friendly and professional service from start to finish from the lovely people that work here. They took all the hassle out of a long-winded process, including chasing companies up for documents etc and making sure nothing was missed, so it all ran smoothly. Dealing with finances can be an arduous task, but they have been superb, with a brilliant outcome that will make our lives so much easier especially at the minute while times are harder. Always been nervous to get our finances in order & buried our heads in the sand for too long as it was easier to do. My husband contacted the centre & the whole process couldn’t of been made simpler. We have dealt with advisors Ciáran and Paul who both couldn’t of been more accommodating and happy to answer any question we needed even if they seemed trivial.

Didn't think anyone could get me a loan but these guys did!
I'm on a DMP and I was trying to find a solution to our secured loan that had gone to a constantly increasing variable rate. Having been turned down by both my high street mortgage provider and a more specialised secured loan company, I approached TPFC with a mindset of "this will be a waste of time but let's give it a go anyway"...How glad am I that I gave them a shot!
Donna scoured the market and actually found us a great deal that has saved us £100s of a month and has given us our financial freedom back.
Communication was quick and efficient via the Nivo app and phone calls from Gareth.
We completed the day the lender received our signed mortgage acceptance so the process is super-quick if you can turn the paperwork around quickly.
I cannot recommend this company highly enough for their professional, friendly and personalised approach.
I know it can be embarrassing to discuss things like DMP but if you are in a tricky situation and need help, these guys are the ones to call.
