After experiencing considerable difficulty finding car insurance with 356 days European cover I was very pleased to find suitable multi-car cover through Hertz Insurance. The telephone representative who took me through the process was courteous and helpful and altogether I was very pleased with the service I received. Thank you Hertz!

I spoke with a helpful and knowledgeable staff member who guided me really well through the process of setting up car insurance.

Over half the price of my insurance company Direct Line to insure my 17-year-old in his first car as a provisional driver. VERY thorough and run through everything you need to know. Don't mind if you want to clarify things further. Great cover and great peace of mind.

i have had to give one star ! Only because this format does not allow me to 'not rate'. This company has totally betrayed my elderly parents and their customer service is absolutely shocking. My mum came across an allegedly good insurance premium for my Dad, who I will say has never had any car insurance claims and he is now in his later years of 80 + born in 1935 before the driving licence was even in existence ! He has held this licence in all of his years and yet the only thing he has to be held to account for his his elderly years !
This company provided a quote, sent it out, on TWO occasions with the incorrect surname ! I was there on the second time of a telephone call, - my lovely Dad even used most of the phonetic alphabet and yet the second policy document came out YET AGAIN with the incorrect spelling of surname.
Yet again not anything to do with policy holder

Now my Dad has to find and locate another car insurer ! Because THIS ACTUAL COMPANY, despite letting my elderly father down yet again, typed in an incorrect date of birth, and decided to increase the original quote even further in excess of more than £200 pounds not due to my parents error, not due to their incompetence, However due to their appalling customer service#
DO NOT go with this company for car insurance, they have totally put my elderly parents under so much stress and angst They are incompetent, do not take any responsibility for their errors in terms of customer service and have left us as a family having to ;..start again. Less than a star here !!!

They informed me by post that my policy was going to cancel in 3 days unless i can provide 3 things I was able to provide 2 of the 3 in such short notice but was unable to provide a picture of my lisence i requested extension as i would have to order a new lisence they then canceled my policy and are attemting to get the insurance collections beurau (just another bailif agency) to collect the remaining 9 months balance which is over 1300 GBP.

They waited right until i would be charged full price for my policy cancelation before sending me any post.

Not only that they have the wrong contact number for me but during this whole period i have been in contact with them about a accident in which i was not at fault via the phone so how you have my incorrect number i have no idea.

Impenetrable MYHIC website- can't find cover details or insurance certificate. No hard copies in the post at all for this insurance. No renewal invitation received by post or email.
Email received to say my account had been updated. Logged in. On-line chat with agent, revealed my policy had been renewed at a particularly high price without my knowledge. Waited 5 hours for a phone call and then the price came down to a realistic level.

Renewal price was fantastic and staff I dealt with were very quick, efficient and knowledgeable! Would defo recommend!

I was extremely fortunate to have the call answered by Amy, who turned out to be one of the best agents I’ve spoke to! Amy had a vast knowledge of my car and spoke of her modified Honda Accord, comparing Japanese cars whilst we went through the quote.

Amy’s personality alone was enough for me to purchase the insurance through the company. (But it was the cheapest too!)

To say Amy was the same age as me (22) she was extremely professional, friendly, and funny and is a credit to the company. I hope to be insured with Herts next year, and hopefully be blessed with Amy’s humour once again.

As a young driver with a modified car, insurance can be hard to source, but Ciaran from HIC managed to sort me the best deal about with a more than satisfactory service. Knowledgeable and down to earth with their customers, I'd definitely recommend to anyone looking for reasonably priced mod insurance, even if you've only recently passed your test like me!

I found the entire process of getting a quote with Herts Insurance Consult seamless and a pleasure. I had an unusual insurance requirement for my car but they took it in their stride and with the quick consultation of one of their senior underwriters were able to provide me with a fair quote which I accepted. I would highly recommend them.
