Deceiving Taxi Company
I have used the online quote for a one way trip to Heathrow and was given a price of £47. Minutes later I received an email from HummingBird Cars saying that because it's Christmas I have to pay 50% extra. Why is that HummingBird Cars ?, does fuel cost more on Christmas day ?
Unreliable company, would not recommend it.
This was back in 2013, I just noticed that my initial review had been removed, will be providing evidence to Trust Pilot of booking

Made booking for ride to the airport couple of days in advance, paid online and got confirmation email. On the day I was waiting but no taxi arrived, I called and was told that my booking was cancelled because I didn't respond to some additional email they sent me - which I never received. Even though I paid and they confirmed they didn't bother to call me to get confirmation from me. They just cancelled booking without warning.

The nice website assuring pick up in the airport terminal on time is at vast odds with personal experience - totally ignore the flight info, left the passengers waiting in the terminal an hour and 15 minutes from the flight arrival time, 4 calls to the company to find out what’s happening, absolutely no apology. Just a really awful way to treat customers.

Really unprofessional service. Tried to rip me off by doubling up the price at drop off with the excuse that my flight was delayed, even though in their terms and conditions they specifically mention that there are no extra charges for that. Very unprofessional service both from the people on the phone and the driver. Avoid at all costs

I have used the airport transfer services before and they have been good so far. I am particularly annoyed by the person I just spoke to over the phone to book my next airport transfer. The prices online were lot less than what he was quoting on phone. When pointed the difference to him, he said online is wrong and they would have sent a follow-up mail with increase price had I used the online booking! Post that he mentioned that I should use a local airport transfer service instead. Very unprofessional and rude!

We have bought three cars from Hummingbird and dealt with them for services etc for over 6 years - its a very down to earth, what you see is what you get, honest company and they don't always get it right but they will bend over backwards to remedy the situation. I would like to draw particular attention to one Priscilla Cleary who is charming and very efficient - a joy to deal with. All in all in this day and age this is a company that you can trust and feel safe with.

Bad service and terrible driver. Do not use them.

Me and my family used this company, 6 people in total to travel to travel from home ( Amersham ) to Heathrow and return.
The driver was very smart ( Stephen ) vehicle was new and had leather interior. Helped with kids and luggage. Very polite and good natured.
Would give more stars if i could.

After Hummingbird Cars being highly recommended to me by a friend who has used the company for a very long time, regularly for both business and pleasure purpose's, I have now used them myself on several occasions. They are without a doubt the most professional, reliable and reasonably priced company I have used in a long while! Having booked using the online service they provide and calling directly over the phone, both were equally hassle free and efficient. I will definitely continue using Hummingbird cars in the future!

We have used Hummingbird Cars London on several occasions and found the service to be very good. The drivers were always courteous, reliable and on time and the cars have always been clean and of a high standard. Fares are reasonably priced and the update and information messages are also very helpful. I would most certainly use Hummingbird Cars again and would not hesitate in recommending this company to anyone. An all round professional service!

Used Humming Bird cars to take my and my family to London T5 and the service was excellent. The driver (Albert) made sure he was early and had the required child seat. Albert was very professional and managed our luggage so we could focus on our kids. The whole experience was very smooth and easy. They car was new and very clean. Thank you guys and gals at Humming Birds for making my holiday great.
