Went to theWarrington branch there open times said open at 8am and they only opened at 8.46am . Not good when you need to do a full days work

The communication was great, they were very quick setting up my account, I placed an order on Friday around 2pm the part arrived Saturday morning.

Recently visited elderly Mother in Law and she reported that one of her windows wouldn't lock, so needed to be repaired urgently.

I dismantled it and figured out the part I needed to replace (broken gearbox on inline espag rod?). Found one available within driving distance at Northwest Hardware (Warrington).

Rang them to check they had it in stock. Spoke to Adam. He could not have been more helpful. He checked all the details and specifications of the broken unit to confirm the one they had was compatible.

My wife drove there to collect it. There were a couple of minor differences between the old and replacement parts. My wife rang me while she was still there and put Adam on the phone to talk me through the differences and provide guidance on fitting the replacement.

Consequently, it was a very straight forward process.

I cannot recommend them highly enough. The service was amazing. All this for a £10 part.

I purchased a replacement lock mechanism for french doors. Their website clear and the correct part easy to find, it was shipped and delivered very fast even with standard delivery. Perfect service, would recommend to anyone.

Northwest Hardware provided an excellent service to me. I had incorrectly ordered a replacement door lock (I needed a smaller one) and I contacted them via email. They responded quickly and explained the return/exchange process. I sent the item back by tracked mail and they sent out the replacement as soon as they received it. Thank you for such good service - and the item is now fitted and the door is back to working properly again!

Recommended a replacement part for my patio door which didn't fit. Multiple emails requesting a return were ignored and by the time they did eventually reply I was unable to get back to the store and subsequently missed the return window. No compromise offered.

I just arrived at the shop to find the lads was very helpful I had spent time trying to to locate the products as I showed the lads the photographs they knew straight off the back of what the product was there were very helpful

Ordered some parts for French doors all parts obsolete with their help they sourced packed and sent me all parts to carry out the repairs

Absolutely shocking service.
I bought in good faith a door handle and letterbox from these people. It didnt fit my door so I have returned it
They sent it in a battered box and half opened

I have had £30 deducted from my original payment for a restocking fee and to cover their outgoing postage

No mention of these fees on the purchase as Id have walked away; and its against Distance Selling regs
Needless to say Ive raised a compaint

This Company really helped me choosing the correct lock replacement for my front door. The telephone service from the staff was excellent. I would strongly recommend this company to anyone.

Have used Northwest Hardware on several occasions. It’s good to speak with people who know their stuff and have such a vast range when you’re trying to repair and maintain. They have helped me with site visits in the past and their experience shows, credit to Mike who came too. Always a fast response.
