Went to Morzine, poor reception
Went to Morzine, France, for a week and the reception O2 provided was terrible. Had acceptable coverage at Geneva airport but other than that the data in Morzine was mostly 3G and non-responsive. My other friends were using EE and had no issues.

A huge thank you to Amina K for the amazing service! I needed a SIM replacement and had already visited the store a few days earlier, but unfortunately her colleagues weren’t able to resolve the issue.
When I came back, Amina took the time to understand the problem and was able to sort everything out quickly and professionally. She was friendly, patient, and clearly knew what she was doing. Her excellent customer service turned what had been a frustrating experience into a really positive one.

So I got pressured into taking a deal
So I got pressured into taking a deal, even though I said I need to check with my husband by saying I’d lose the deal and I’m not great with these things so panicked! I called back less than 3 hours later to cancel and am being charged. The amount is only pennies but seeing as I never even used the service I am absolutely appalled!! Steer well clear!

Just off the phone to 4 different advisors an hour call, none have a clue whats going on with letters and messages I’ve received. Not been with the company for 4 months yet still trying to set up direct debits, fraud department was useless and fobbed me off, beforehand 2 calls have been made about the same issue, still awaiting a call from ‘higher up’ that said he would call back! Complete useless company.

As advised by the ‘fraud department advisor’ to go into a O2 store to sort this issue to then be told to ring customer services again because they can’t deal with it in store. An email of complaint will be sent and if this is not dealt with finally, we will then be contacting an ombudsman!

After 10 hours spent taking to o2 customer service, we still got no resolution. Got a new iPhone with o2 and had no service in central London for months. Missed countless work emails and calls, couldn’t get an uber home because there was no signal, tried to sort it out and even after multiple calls, nothing happened. Then when we tried to return the device, they gave us false information meaning my elderly father travelled all the way to return the phone to the store it was purchased from only to be told the information provided to us was wrong.
If you want to have phone signal, don’t go with o2.

They sent me an email in October 2025 that the price would be increased in April 2026, but they did the increase from November 2025 without any notification, in January discovered that O2 increase from November and for more money that they notified in the email in October, immediately I cancelled the contract they gave me the date of last day service but they tried to charge me again in February, I called them to explain that our contract had expired, they gave me apologies but the worse from O2 was that damage my credit report because I didn't want to pay after that our contract had expired, really I don't recommend O2 my experience was terrible now my credit score was damaged for fake report from O2
