Amazing staff
After visiting the store a couple of weeks ago we decided to return an order instore rather on the online because the staff was so helpful. They were really knowledgeable and talked us through the whole process of delivery and options as we were little worried because we’re waiting on exchange for our house so nothing was set in stone yet.
Jo in the stow on the wold store was excellent.

Rude service from staff sadly
We were served by an Irish lady, I believe Lisa and she was unbelievable rude, probably the worst customer service I've received in a long time. We love Cotswold company and have purchased a quite a lot from them, this is the first bad experience. When we went to the till she said "you need to wait as I'm in the middle of more important work" about 3 min later we were served. Whole manner was just rude. Such a shame to have this service in such a beautiful shop.

Visited Marlow store in May
Visited Marlow store in May. Very pleasant staff took our order and offered "a free named day delivery" in June. Week before, received email order being prepared. On eve of delivery enquired about delivery time slot only to be informed that our paid for and reserved kitchen cupboard was now unavailable and would be delivered in August.
Customer services were unable to help and blamed the shop staff. Compensation was promised but only after delivery (still waiting to hear on this 2 weeks post delivery). Subsequently the company had a summer sale and customer services reluctantly agreed to match the sale price (shop staff had already agreed this). We were surprised that the refund was reduced by the "free delivery cost"!
The delivery staff, Gary and Jake) were courteous and competent. Nothing was missing from our cupboard.
Overall not impressed by the Cotswold Company.

Did not arrive at the originally expected time, but kept updated, traffic delays ! When did arrive Ryan & Chris were very efficient, helpful & humours - a good advert for the company. The chest of drawers is doing its job as well.

Do not accept BJS as Delivery company
Order furniture from the Cotswold Company and receive dreadful service from their delivery partners BJS. They deliver the furniture and are incredibly rude.
If you pay for delivery and unpacking - they point blankly refuse to take the packaging away (part of the service you pay for)
Aggressive delivery team members and when escalate to their management team you just get shouted at by the officious lady at the BJS office.
So if you order we suggest you insist that they do not use BJS as the delivery partner or you will receive dreadful service.

Charcoal Grey Double Bed
This double bed was brought 18th March 2024 and so far I have repaired it seven, yes 7, times. I note the current one on sales has been redesigned so perhaps made to last longer. The problem with my cotswold bed is that the two sides that hold the slats are made of paper (MDF). Screws will hold long in paper.

The excellent cotswolds customer service team got in touch with me after posting and I have found out my bed had already been removed from their bed selection. I was offered a replacement but I know my repairs will last and turned down their generous offer.

Ryan and Chris delivered a replacement wardrobe as the original had the final part missing. They were extremely polite and respectful whilst friendly. Both worked well as a team, they were efficient, all went well and I’m a happy lady.

Service with a smile!
We’ve bought furniture from the Cotswolds Company many times, and the delivery and products have always been very good and delivered on time. The showroom staff are helpful and friendly (Marlow showroom), and the assembly team has always been excellent too.
We had to return one of the wardrobes delivered today which didn’t fit into our space, and customer services dealt with it quickly and efficiently.
Thank you Maciej/Dan for your help moving the wardrobe we did keep to a different position.
